Hello and welcome to our auction. We are Berry Good Auto Sales. A licensed Michigan Dealership. We regularly take vehicles on trade and usually they go to the auction. This means the vehicles have to be transported to auction, someone has to show up on auction day to represent them, and if they don't sell they have to be transported back. We decided to try this a different way. We are going to offer trade-ins on Ebay at absolute sale, no reserve. These vehicles come in varying conditions, but we will describe the condition completely, and if we miss anything, just ask. This is true wholesale to the public. A lot of places will say they wholesale to the public which just means they make 2,000.00 profit instead of 3,000.00. This is really simple. We put the cars up, describe them, and you pay what you want! So if you have any questions please contact us, we are always available to answer anything.

My oh my. 2010 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer 4x4 in great shape with no reserve! This is the truck I have been driving for a while. These are 50,000 new and there is a reason. They are big, they can pull any toy you want, they seat 8, and they look good doing it. This truck is the Eddie Bauer which means you get leather power(driver) seats. Electronic dual zone climate control with rear heat and a/c, 18" alloy wheels, upgraded stereo with cd, 5.4L V8 with 310 HP, automatic transmission, shift on the fly 4x4, factory tow rated up to 9200lbs, power folding third row, power tailgate, power windows, locks, cruise, 2 tone paint, and keyless entry. This Expedition runs and drives great, it is very smooth for such a big ladder frame suv. I think this is the best color combo you can get in these, and I wouldn't have any hesitation selling this to my mother, daughter, or anyone. It is a nice one.

Lets start outside. The exterior of this Expedition is very nice. Other than a couple touched up scratches and the odd door ding, which I would consider normal wear for a 2010, there is nothing major to report here. The paint shines nicely, the wheels look good other than very minor curb in a couple of places. The glass is all clean, and I would say this is average to above average for the year and miles. It is a looker, and the pictures aren't hiding anything.

Inside you have the same story. This does have 120k on it so obviously you can see the usual wear marks you get on leather seats. No rips or tears, and the drivers seat is actually the only one I would say is normal wear, the other seats I would put at above average. The floors are clean, and other than needing a good detail to look amazing, its a very clean truck. The dash panels and door panels are all clean and in good shape. All of the buttons work, and the stereo sounds great. The a/c is ice cold and the heat is hot.

Mechanically its easy to describe as well. Nice. The engine runs strong, sounds great. The transmission shifts great, and it goes down the road smoothly. The brakes stop strong, and the tires are about 50%. The 4x4 works good, and there are no trouble lights on. Like I said before, I wouldn't hesitate to sell this to anyone or drive it anywhere, which for the last few months I have.

So that's it, pretty straight forward on this one. No laundry lists or stories. Just a great SUV with plenty of life left that you can get a killer deal on. Please ask if I didn't cover anything you are interested in. I try to note anything I would like to know myself, but everyone has unique questions and we are always available to answer them. Please remember that as with all our vehicles, this is sold as-is but warranties are available. You should expect to do maintenance on these vehicles as recommended by the manufacturer. I don't think it needs anything, but Ford recommends like fluid changes and the like at certain mileage. Also it is 4 years old with over 100k. I described it as nice, and it is, but please don't expect showroom new. I don't want to mislead anyone. As a licensed dealer, if you are a Michigan resident we mist collect 6% sales tax, title fee, and registration fees. We do not charge a doc fee. Shipping is your responsibility but we will help as much as we can. This has a clean title, and will be sold to the last bidder. This truck has a NADA book value of 24,500! The last bidder will own it. Good luck and happy bidding!

All the details on Plug In 2014 electric vehicle conference you could ever want

Wed, Aug 6 2014

One of the best parts of the Plug In 2014 Conference in San Jose, CA last week was getting to listen in on thoughts about the state of the plug-in vehicle industry from people who have been involved with it for ages. They bristle when you call them the "Old Guard" (learned that one the hard way), but these are the people who have been through a number of ups and downs with plug-in vehicles, so they've got what we call perspective. Their knowledge was on full display in the three plenary sessions, which the Plug In Conference organizers have given us permission to share with you. Each is at least 90 minutes long, so make sure to set some time aside to enjoy the discussions after you download them (any help with making them streamable would be appreciated). Follow us below to see what we've got to offer. Opening Plenary (audio link). "The Road Ahead – Delivering on a Vision for Sustainable Transportation." Moderated by Mark Duvall (director of energy utilization at EPRI, the Electric Power Research Institute, and a long-time EV advocate), this panel featured: Jack Broadbent, Executive Officer / APCO, Bay Area Air Quality Management District Pat Romano, President & Chief Executive Officer, ChargePoint, Inc. Aaron Johnson, Senior Director, Customer Programs, Pacific Gas and Electric Company Brendan Jones, Director, EV Sales Operations & Infrastructure Deployment, Nissan North America, Inc. David W. Cash, Commissioner, MassDEP Dan Sperling, Director, Institute of Transportation Studies, University of California, Davis Highlights: Educating drivers to "get over the gas station" is a key strategy, how Level 2 and DC Fast Charging are really "a new paradigm," that there have been well over 214,000 EVs sold in US as of July 2014 and where Nissan sees huge potential for more EV sales (Northeast US and medium-size cities like St. Louis and Pittsburgh). Wednesday Morning Plenary (audio link). "Getting to the Mass Market – A Discussion of Ideas for Widespread PEV Adoption." Moderated by John Gartner, research director for smart transportation at Navigant Research.

Shelby Cobra, Mercedes 300SL and 1947 Woodie from Petersen Museum headed to auction

Mon, 29 Jul 2013

The changes happening at the Petersen Museum have been making the rounds in major press, but it probably won't be until August 18, during Pebble Beach, when we get the full story on what's happening; that's where and when museum reps plan on announcing the way forward for the SoCal institution. In the meantime, the museum is still reorganizing its collection, and that means auctioning some of its showpieces at this weekend's Auctions America event in Burbank.
Three of the stars are a 1964 Shelby Cobra 289, one of less than 20 produced with a three-speed C-4 automatic transmission, a 1960 Mercedes-Benz 300SL owned by actor Robert Stack and the last 1948 Ford Sportsman 'Woodie' ever produced. The Cobra, now restored to its original white exterior and red leather interior, was a factory demonstrator that first sold for $5,250. Showing just 38,950 miles on the odometer, its pre-sale estimate is $800,000 to $1 million.
The 300SL is actually a 1957 model but wasn't titled until Robert Stack took possession in 1960. The lead actor in the The Untouchables TV series used to drive by the Sunset Boulevard Mercedes dealership to ogle the car, but couldn't justify spending the money to buy it. When he and the producer of The Untouchables won Emmys for the show, the producer, who happened to be Desi Arnaz, bought the car for Stack. He owned it his whole life, it has been left as Stack drove it and still bears the California license plate "UNTCHBL."

2015 Ford Mustang option prices gallop onto the web

Tue, 22 Apr 2014

The 2015 Ford Mustang is one of the most anticipated cars of the year, despite the fact that production hasn't yet begun. What's a pony car fan to do? It turns out that Ford already has pricing and options information about the vehicle in its dealer ordering system. A few enterprising folks have snapped some pictures from it and have posted them online. You might not be able to drive your car yet, but you can at least see what it might cost.
At the moment, Ford appears to be splitting the Mustang into five models - 3.7-liter V6, 2.3-liter EcoBoost, GT with the 5.0-liter V8, 50th Anniversary and SVT. There are 10 available paint colors, 2 of which require an extra outlay. Triple Yellow is $495, and Ruby Red Tint is $395. Regardless of model, navigation goes for $795, and reverse parking assist is $295.
For both the EcoBoost and GT, the six-speed automatic tacks an extra $1,195 to the sticker, and adaptive cruise control is the same price. The GT also has a limited-slip 3.55 rear end for $395 and a GT Performance package for $2,495. Recaro leather seats add an extra $1,595. For the EcoBoost, there's something called EcoBoost Performance package for $1,995. The system doesn't say what the packages include.
