Best of all, this beautifully kept truck has only 83,923miles on it. The body is straight as an arrow, no dents at all on this rust free truck. This excursion has been garage kept, and all preventive maintenance has been completed by the dealer. The engine is a 6.0 diesel the has never been modified or abused, and is mechanically sound. This truck is all stock except for the aftermarket wheels and tires, costing in excess of $3500. The wheels are 22 inch chrome wrapped in Falkens. The truck has never been used to tow, although it has the capacity to tow whatever you have if need be. The interior looks practically new. There are no rips, cracks, burns, etc. The leather seats are in phenomenal condition. Ice cold front and rear A/C for these brutal summers months, and truck has hot heat and dual heated seats for those cold winters. This is the limited edition model, in arguably the most desirable color combination, black on tan. This truck needs nothing, other than a driver or a family to enjoy it for years to come. They dont make them anymore, let alone make them like this. The paint looks like youre looking into a mirror, it shines like the day it was new. No rock chips are even present. Ford recalling 205k Edge and Lincoln MKX units for possible corrosion
Thu, 30 Oct 2014After the horrible weather last winter, it's hard to look forward for the season to return this year. For those readers in much of the country, the snow is going to be flying soon, and with it comes salt on the roads. That means Ford's regional recall for the 2007-2008 Edge and Lincoln MKX arrives at the perfect time because they are at risk for corrosion.
The campaign covers 204,448 examples of the models in 21 states, plus the District of Columbia and some provinces of Canada. In total there are 186,024 vehicles in need of repair in the US and 18,424 in Canada.
According to Ford, it's possible for the area, "under the reinforcement brackets where the fuel tank is mounted" to corrode. If this happens, there might be a gas smell in the vehicle or even a fuel leak could develop. In fact, the automaker reports that one fire could be related to the problem but no injuries or accidents are reported.

Between alternative forms of energy, a renewed focus on low curb weights and aerodynamic bodies, the advent of driverless and autonomous cars and the need to reduce the our impact on the environment, it's very likely that the car that's built 10 years down the line will be scarcely recognizable when parked next to the car from 10 years ago.
Few people are as able to explain the industry's many upcoming changes and challenges as clearly as William Clay Ford, Jr., better known as Bill Ford. The 57-year-old currently sits as the executive chairman of the company his great-grandfather, Henry Ford, founded over 110 years ago.
In an op-ed piece in The Wall Street Journal (subscription required), Ford explains that the role of automakers is, necessarily, going to change to suit the needs of the future world. That means changing the view of not just the automobile, but the automaker. As Ford explains it, automakers will "move from being just car and truck manufacturers to become personal-mobility companies."
