Ford Excursion Limited on 2040-cars
Sebring, Florida, United States
This 2000 Ford Excursion 4x4 7,3 power stroke diesel limited has two owners , the transmission was serviced at 180,000 miles just replaced the steering box, front hubs, alternator, new O-rings to accept the new diesel, Tires (michelin) last year and two new batteries 4 of 2012. I would drive this truck anyplace and everything works, we use it to take the family to the keys and drive to work day to day. The paint is gone on the hood and roof and the seats need recovered or nice seat covers installed, for a few thousand dollars at retail you could have this very hard to find 7.3 looking new again. I have struggled with getting rid of it but the wife wanted a new truck and she always gets her way. :-) This truck is totally sound mechanically and anything was fixed right away if there was any question of an issue.

Ford EcoBoost smashes records at Daytona
Thu, 10 Oct 2013Some mighty machines have lapped the banks of the Daytona International Speedway over the years: thunderous V8-powered stock cars, Le Mans-conquering Group C prototypes, open-wheel Champ Cars, knee-dragging superbikes... heck, the infield lake has even hosted powerboat racing. But this - this is the fastest car ever to lap the legendary raceway.
What you're looking at is the new Daytona Prototype being prepared by Riley Technologies for the new United SportsCar Championship. The car, released just last week, is powered by a new 3.5-liter turbocharged V6 from Ford's EcoBoost family, and just obliterated the top speed at the track with a blistering 222.971 miles per hour through the traps.
That's enough to annihilate the previous record that was set, also under Ford power, by Bill Elliott while placing his Thunderbird on pole for the 1987 Daytona 500 that he would go on to win. His 210.364 mph record had stood for 26 years until now.
Watch NASCAR racer Brad Keselowski do a burnout... in a hotel conference room
Fri, 08 Mar 2013A vast majority of hotels frown upon smoking inside the building these days, but Brad Keselowski doesn't follow the rules. During his introduction at the 2013 MiilerCoors Distribution Convention, the reigning NASCAR Sprint Cup champion smoked the tires of his Miller-sponsored Ford Fusion stock car, adding a pair of thick, black stripes to the carpeting of the Marriott World Center's conference room.
This definitely isn't a high-quality video, but it's the perfect vantage point to watch Keselowski lay down some rubber and receive a well-deserved standing ovation after pulling up in front of the crowd. Check out the short-but-sweet video posted below.
