For sale is my 2000 Ford Excursion XLT

I purchased this recently and realized it is way more than what i need

It is 4x4 and has a 7.3l diesel and automatic transmission

I do not know much about diesels but i will list everything the mechanic said the truck could use

It is an ohio truck so it is rusty underneath and i took as many pictures as i could. If you would like more just let me know

It has been sitting for a little so i have been driving it around.

Needs

ICP sensor and pigtail (oil in plug)

Pads and rotors (from sitting)

heater only works on high and on defrost

Have not tried AC

Could also use tires

One of the locking hubs will not move i believe it is stuck

The truck does not appear to leak anything

I bought it from the original owners and they took very good care of it

I have the Window sticker and many other repair bills for the truck.

The interior could use a very good cleaning

NO tears from what i can see just dirty

Ford lowers MPG ratings on six vehicles

Ford has announced that it will be lowering the fuel economy ratings on a number of its 2013 and 2014 model year vehicles after an error was discovered in the company's internal testing data. The EPA has been notified.
Worryingly for Ford, the vast majority of the vehicles affected are hybrids, including the C-Max, Fusion and MKZ in both hybrid and plug-in varieties (where applicable). Also covered as part of the rerating is the entire lineup of 2014 Fiesta engines, with the exception of the ST, including the turbocharged, three-cylinder EcoBoost.
The C-Max was originally rated at 47/47/47 mpg, but dropped to 43/45/40 last year and now to 40/42/37.

What's the future look like for Tesla after it launches the Model X CUV and possibly a smaller, sub-Model S sedan? Would you believe a pickup truck? Yes, Tesla could be looking to use its EV know-how to take the fight to Ford and the F-150, based on comments made by company founder Elon Musk.
"If you're trying to replace the most gasoline miles driven, you have to look at what people are buying," Musk said during an impromptu Q&A session following a speech at Business Insider's Ignition conference. "[The F-150 is] the best selling car in America. If people are voting that's their car, then that's the car we have to deliver."
And while the idea of electric pickup may sound kind of absurd to some, Musk makes a very valid point - if Tesla's goal is to replace gas miles with electrical miles, it simply can't afford to ignore pickups.
