This hot pink ford escort coup has everybody's head turning it also has custom pink interior with zebra stripes on the roof with matching seat covers, pink control knobs, pink LED under dash light, and a custom pink zebra striped matching trunk. This car was bought for my teenage daughter as her first car, we bought the car with previous transmission problems. We had purchased a used transmission then my mechanic repaired the existing transmission replacing trans-neutral switch. But was only a temporary fix. After which the head gasket needed to be replaced because my daughter didn't realize you couldn't drive the car while it's overheating. LOL Knowing I had a used transmission to replace the old transmission if anything was to happen to it, I hesitantly repaired the head gasket to the engine. Six months later the transmission finally went so I had my mechanic install the used transmission I had purchased after installing the transmission spending more money the used transmission that we bought was no good and only had a 90 day warranty from purchase so after doing all this work the next potential buyer will NEED a transmission. Engine runs pretty good however the car is being sold as is as I have decided to purchase a new vehicle for my daughter. If you're are mechanically inclined this is the car for you, but I however am not. (To make your search a little easier for your the transmission has to be compatible an engine that has dual overhead cam.)

Yeah, we saw the new Ram 1500, Chevy Silverado and Ford Ranger, but that's just scratching the surface. Quitting Mexico factory helps bring down Ford earnings $200 million in 2016
Thu, Jan 26 2017Ford released its 2016 earnings report this morning, and despite a fourth quarter net loss it proved to be the automaker's second most successful year ever, following record breaking numbers in 2015. Losses for the year come from a number of sources, including accounting changes and a $200 million hit for backing out of the small-car factory in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. Despite the loss, come March 9 about 56,000 UAW-represented employees will receive a $9,000 profit-sharing check. That, like most of Ford's other 2016 metrics, is slightly down from the year before, but it's still the second best profit-sharing payment ever. Total net income was $4.6 billion, down $2.8 billion from 2015. Total revenue for 2016 was $151.8 billion, up $2.2 billion. Ford's earnings report lists a global market share of 7.6 percent, down a tenth from 2015. Ford's European and Asia-Pacific markets posted their best and second best pre-tax profits respectively. The South American, Middle East, and African markets all took hits because of unstable economies and other external factors. Ford expects to have another down year in 2017 as it invests in new and emerging markets and focuses more on its mobility projects.Related Video: This content is hosted by a third party. Consumer Reports explains its disdain for infotainment
Thu, 20 Mar 2014One of the perks of reviewing all manner of cars and trucks is that we're exposed to all the different infotainment systems. Whether Cadillac's CUE, Chrysler's UConnect, BMW's iDrive or MyFord Touch, we sample each and every infotainment system on the market.
Not surprisingly, some are better than others. It seems consumers have come to a similar consensus, with Consumer Reports claiming that Ford and Lincoln, Cadillac and Honda offer the worst user infotainment experiences. Not surprisingly, you won't find much argument among the Autoblog staff.
