2009 Ford Escape XLT with 19,500 original miles.

My grandfather was the original and only owner of the vehicle up until a couple months ago when I inherited it. It is in superb condition with incredibly low miles.
Never been in an accident. I have a clean clear title in hand ready to transfer to a new owner.
2.5 L I4 engine. 6 speed auto transmission
power driver seat
cruise control
am/fm CD player
MP3 player
SAT radio
Auto input jack
ice cold air conditioning
super hot heater
tinted windows
dual front, side and safety canopy airbags for front and rear
Tires are Michelins with approximately 80% tread remaining.

The car runs and drives great
Nothing wrong with it. It needs nothing.
I have every book, record and receipt for the vehicle including the original window sticker.

Cosmetically it is in beautiful shape. The interior shows slight wear on one spot of the steering wheel the rest of the vehicle almost looks new (smells new). There are small scratches and a small split on the rear bumper that I have pictured.

The oil was last changed at 17,500 miles the tires were rotated and the front end aligned. A complete check of all systems was done with nothing in need of repair or replacement.
The Escape is registered through August of 2015

To sum it up: This is a low milage car in fantastic condition, ready for a new owner.

It would be greatly appreciated if you would verify the form of payment you will be using prior to ending the auction.
Thank you

Watch live as Mark Fields is officially named Ford's next CEO

    Thu, 01 May 2014

We've heard rumblings of a changing of the guard at Ford, and this live stream from The Blue Oval itself is set to confirm the rumors: Alan Mulally will be succeeded by the automaker's current Chief Operating Officer, Mark Fields.
Mulally, who is 68 years old, has served at the head of Ford for eight years, and his official retirement date will be July 1st, 2014. Fields, who is 53 this year, has been with Ford for 25 years and has been groomed to take the helm from Mulally for the last several of those years.
There's an official press release that you can read, but if you're more of a visual person, you're welcome to watch the live video feed of the announcement down below.

Watch this lead sled go rallying in Finland

    Thu, 19 Jun 2014

Custom cars generally fit into neat little boxes in terms of how they are used. For example, you're unlikely to see a modded Corvette going rock crawling; it's just not what it's made for (though we bet it'd look awesome, for a minute). In the same way, chopped, channeled and customized '50s hot rods aren't really meant to go racing. They look great and go fast, but they are generally more cruisers than sports cars.
However, if this video is any indication, the people of Finland don't adhere in these stereotypes, because this rodder is happy to play in the dirt with his lead sled.
According to the video, the driver is a member of the Ford-Freak Club of Finland, and he clearly knows how to have some fun. Possibly inspired by his country's great rally drivers, he gets the tail way out going around this gently curving gravel track. The stunt is somewhat reminiscent of the stock cars races on the sand at Daytona Beach, and this is probably close to what it sounded like too. Scroll down to watch a very cool Finn getting his hot rod a little dirty.

MotorWeek finds nice things to say about the 1993 Ford Probe

    Tue, Mar 8 2016

This latest in MotorWeek's series of Retro Reviews continues its recent trend of remembering the massive glut of sports coupes that hit the market in the '90s. While vehicles like the Mitsubishi 3000GT, Mazda RX-7, and Ford Mustang all enjoy solid reputations down to this day, the 1993 Ford Probe, well... doesn't. As you'll soon see, though, the show's opinion suggests the coupe's second generation isn't really all that bad. Turns out they just weren't particularly sporty. Ford and Mazda developed the Probe together, and the Japanese company supplied both the base 115-horsepower 2.0-liter four-cylinder and the 164-hp 2.5-liter V6 in the GT trim. The original's pseudo-angular look gave way to a much smoother shape for the second generation. Of course, pop-up headlights remained, which were a design hallmark for many of this era's sports coupes. After driving it, MotorWeek proclaims the Probe is "a winner" and considers the handling a "delight." That's not a big surprise, considering that in those days, a car had to be really bad not to get a decent review from Television's Original Automotive Magazine. However, the show hints at some of the reasons the coupe isn't so well remembered today. Even the GT reportedly suffers from soft springs and lots of understeer, which sounds like exactly the opposite anyone hoping to drive the coupe enthusiastically would want. To sum it all up, we're sure you're just as happy as we are that Ford went back on its initial plan to shelve the Mustang in favor of the front-drive Probe. Related Video:
