I am selling my 2008 Ford Escape 4x4 hybrid. This is the toughest, coolest Escape you'll ever find! It has 96,000 miles on it, runs great! No problems. well, there is a little bit of a stain on the front seat from a spilled coke, but it is minor.
I have put a lot into this. It has some cool upgrades: 245/75R16 Goodyear A/T tires black bull bar black taillight guards dark tinted windows Yakima roof rails with/ wind deflector snowboard rack - Yakima (not in picture) WeatherTech custom fit all weather floor mats (they aren't in the photos because I'm waiting for them to be delivered still) and best of all, it has a custom woodgrain interior! This was done professionally by a shop in Florida using a process called hydro-dipping. That is the same process they use to put camo prints on guns and things like that. |

Ford hybrid sales rebound following MPG controversy
Sun, 31 Aug 2014Ford hybrid customers apparently have very short memories. With two EPA fuel economy reratings in the last year, sales of the C-Max, Fusion Hybrid and Lincoln MKZ haven't been too terribly dented, Ward's Auto reports.
All three vehicles saw sales dips following the August 2013 rerating, although sales of the MKZ Hybrid had begun to rebound as early as November of that year. C-Max sales, meanwhile, took slightly longer, with sales on a steadily improving course as early as February of this year.
The second rerating, in June of this year, has had an even smaller effect on the Blue Oval's hybrids. The C-Max has actually been subject to a sales increase, while both the MKZ and Fusion saw minor sales drops (less than 400 units between the two in the month following the rerating).

Tue, 28 May 2013We're of the mind that each and every dyno should come with Murphy's Law painted in big, visible letters down the side. For every ten successful dyno runs out there, it seems there's one where events to horribly wrong. Take, for example, the video below. The clip shows what happens when a Ford Shelby GT500 and a mobile dyno have a bit of a disagreement at the Performance Expo 24 in Sherbrooke, Quebec. We won't spoil the results for you, but we will say there's some substantial carnage involved.
It's unclear just how much damage ensues from the dust up or whether anyone was harmed in the incident, but from the looks of things, everyone made it out without serious injury. If only we could say the same for the machines involved. Check out the video below.
