Up for auction is a fully loaded 2003 Ford Escape Limited 4x4. It is very clean and seems to have been very well cared for. It runs and drives, 4x4 works, transmission shifts good and everything else in the truck works perfect. It does have a scuff on the right side of the front bumper, a ding on the hood, a small dent on the passenger door and a small dent on the tailgate all damaged is pictured in the listing.
The issue is that it has a rough idle and I was told by a mechanic that it might have a head gasket leak near an exhaust port because there was small amounts of exhaust gas coming out of the radiator reservoir. There is no sign of coolant mixing with the oil and it is not blowing white smoke from the exhaust. It ran for over 20 minutes it did not overheat and the temp was normal. There are no warning or check engine lights illuminated on the dash. This will make a great truck once its repaired. It is being sold as-is and with no reserve so please only serious bidders. Fallon picks Ford F-150 King Ranch, launches dealership contest

Detroit 3 small cars lay an egg in latest Consumer Reports reliability study
Tue, 28 Oct 2014Consumer Reports has released its Annual Auto Reliability Survey and the results are, in a word, interesting. While we already covered the score-damaging effects of infotainment systems, there's another big angle to the data that's getting some attention - the utterly dismal scores of the Detroit Three's small car offerings.
The turbocharged Dodge Dart and Chevrolet Cruze, as well as the Ford Fiesta were their respective brands' lowest-scoring models, a stat that's made worse by the fact that the American automakers finished 25th, 21st and 23rd, respectively.
That's not acceptable for The Detroit Free Press' auto critic, Mark Phelan, who has penned a scathing critique of the D3's small car reliability scores, arguing that GM, Ford and Chrysler are "out of excuses."
Ford C-Max spied with fresh updates
Fri, 05 Sep 2014The Ford C-Max hatchback looks to be getting a few cosmetic updates, as evidenced in this latest set of spy photos. Like the smaller Focus, which also received a nip/tuck for the 2015 model year, the C-Max appears to be getting a revised front fascia with slimmer headlamps and a more, shall we say, Aston Martin-like grille. Around back, there looks to be a new bumper with redesigned taillamps, as well.
In other markets, the C-Max people-mover is available with a range of powertrains, but here in the US, it exists either as a traditional gas-electric or plug-in hybrid. The C-Max's fuel economy has been a particular topic of interest lately, with its official fuel economy ratings having been lowered twice since the vehicle's launch. Sales initially suffered a bit following this fiasco, though numbers have since leveled out. It's unclear if Ford is working on any powertrain tweaks for the updated C-Max seen here, however.
Ford has likely spruced up the hatch's interior, as well, though we don't have photos of that at this time. Mum's the word on when we'll see the new C-Max, but our best guess is that it'll arrive sometime in the next year.
