EXTERIOR: THE DARK BLUE METALLIC PAINT IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. THERE ARE NO DENTS, DINGS, RUST, OR LARGE SCRATCHES ON THIS VEHICLE. THERE ARE A COUPLE OF VERY LIGHT SCRATCHES ON THE VEHICLE BUT THEY ARE TOO LIGHT TO SEE IN THE PICTURES. THERE ARE SOME BUG DAMAGE SPOTS ON THE FRONT BUMPER AND THE FRONT EDGE OF THE HOOD BUT NO OTHER DAMAGE.
INTERIOR: THE BLACK LEATHER INTERIOR IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION, THERE IS NO DAMAGE AT ALL AND NO HEAVY WEAR TO THE SEATS. THE HEADLINER HAS NO SAGGING AND THE CARPETS HAVE HAD FLOOR MATS ON THEM SINCE DAY ONE. THE PREVIOUS OWNERS DIDN'T SMOKE AND DIDN'T TRAVEL WITH PETS. THE CENTER SECTION ON THE DOOR PANELS HAS LOTS ITS ADHESIVE AND THEY HAVE BEEN TAPED IN PLACE, BUT NO OTHER DAMAGE AT ALL TO THE INTERIOR. THE CAR COMES WITH FLOOR MATS AND THE REAR CARGO COVER.
WHEELS AND TIRES: THE WHEELS ARE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION AND THE TIRES ARE ABOUT 40% ON THE BACK AND ABOUT 80% ON THE FRONT.

Airbag recall widens to include BMW, Chrysler, Ford and Toyota
Mon, 23 Jun 2014The recall of faulty airbag inflators supplied by Takata has exploded today to grow to seven automakers. In most cases, only models in certain high-humidity regions were affected because the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration found in its investigation that moisture played a roll in determining whether there would be a problem. However, some companies opted for national campaigns. The exact number of affected models for these campaigns isn't yet known at this time.
BMW is recalling an undisclosed number of 325i, 325Xi, 330i and 330Xi models from the 2001 through 2005 model years and the 2001-2006 model year versions of the 325Ci and 330Ci for the driver side and passenger side inflators. Only vehicles currently registered in Florida, Puerto Rico, Hawaii and the US Virgin Islands are covered under this recall.
Neither Chrysler's filing with NHTSA nor its press release list the specific models affected, but a company spokesperson told Autoblog that at this time it only covers the driver and passenger side inflators for the 2006 Dodge Charger in Florida, Puerto Rico, Hawaii and the US Virgin Islands
Ford doubling 1.0L EcoBoost engine production
Fri, 06 Sep 2013Ford's 1.0-liter EcoBoost three-cylinder engine hasn't been around that long, but it sounds like the engine is getting to be fairly popular in the automaker's global car lineup. The Detroit News is reporting that Ford has add a second shift that will allow its German engine plant to double daily output from 500 engines to 1,000.
The increased capacity is part of a plan to sell more than 300,000 vehicles a year with this engine in Europe by 2015. Europe is currently the only market where the smallest of the EcoBoost engines is offered (including in the Focus pictured above), but US-spec Fiesta models will be getting this mill for 2014.
Three-cylinder engines are expected to continue to grow in popularity in coming years with the report indicating that global production of these engines will double by 2018 to 9.8 million units. General Motors, BMW and Mitsubishi are all expected to introduce three-cylinder engines in the near term, as well.

Sat, 17 Aug 2013Saleen used the occasion of the race-fueled Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca to announce its new Heritage Collection Lineup. The event was punctuated with the debut of the collection's first member, the 2014 Saleen George Follmer Edition Mustang.
Follmer's name will likely sound familiar to fans of American racing in the 1960s and '70s. The driver competed in Formula One with the Shadow team in 1973, ran the Indianapolis 500, was the Can-Am champion in 1972 and drove stock cars in NASCAR's Winston Cup as well. The multi-disciplined driver is now one of three -the other two being Mark Donohue and Swede Savage - with the honor of upcoming, limited edition Saleen-tuned vehicles..
Follmer's name will likely sound familiar to fans of American racing in the 1960s and '70s.
