You are bidding on a 2013 Ford Edge Limited 4WD SUV - 3.5L V-6 that runs and drives like new. We have run an AutoCheck report that will be given to the buyer (a $30 value). It states that the Edge has never been involved in an accident, that the mileage is true and correct and we have a clean and clear title. This near-new vehicle runs and drives nice. It was a company-owned vehicle we would like to sell. Our asking price is thousands below the Kelly Blue Book value and would make a great winter driving SUV. 4-Wheel Drive and all the comforts and conveniences you would want. Wide-Angle Backup Camera, Keyless Entry, CD Player, Sony Premium Stereo System, Satellite Radio ready with an A/V input and Blue Tooth equipped. This one has too many amazing features to mention - it's a must see car. So many of the features are "touch screen" controlled. Tires are in excellent condition. Again, we are in possession of a clean and clear title.

For further information or to schedule a test drive, please feel free to call Carol at 816-739-4888 from 8 am to 4 pm Monday through Friday or Brian after hours or on weekends at 816-456-5279. Ford jumps back in the water with marinized 6.2L V8

Wed, 06 Nov 2013

Nameplates like the Mercury Mariner and Lincoln Navigator aside, Ford hasn't offered a marine engine in over two decades. But through a new partnership with one of the biggest names in the business, the Dearborn-based automaker is dipping its proverbial toes back in the water.
Announced yesterday at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas, the new partnership between Ford Component Sales and Indmar Marine Engines will see the 6.2-liter V8 from the F-150 SVT Raptor and F-Series Super Duty marinized for use in boats.
The largest privately owned inboard gasoline marine engine manufacturer in the world, Indmar has been in the business for 43 years, and figures the Ford V8 will be just what watersport enthusiasts are looking for to tow waterskiers and wakeboarders to their hearts' content.

Ford open to diesel, hybrid or electric Mustang? [w/poll]

Sun, 08 Dec 2013

The Ford Mustang may not be the first vehicle that comes to mind when you think of environmentally-friendly forms of transportation. The arrival of the turbocharged four-cylinder engine in the new Mustang could do a lot to combat that perception, but the EcoBoost engine may just be the tip of the iceberg in that regard.
Speaking with Ford powertrain boss Bob Fascetti at the reveal of the new Mustang in Australia, GoAuto reports that the Blue Oval automaker is considering offering its latest pony car with a diesel, hybrid or even electric powertrain in the future.
"We're not looking at diesel at the moment, but given where we need to go with fuel consumption we are looking at all our options," said Fascetti. Other options could include a nine- or ten-speed automatic transmission to replace the current six-speed unit in order to help improve fuel economy and emissions for the Mustang, although figures for the current lineup have yet to be revealed.

Ford increasing Super Duty production by 15 percent

Fri, 31 Jan 2014

Ford has announced a hefty $80 million investment in its Kentucky Truck Plant, which is responsible for building the F-250, F-350, F-450 and F-550 versions of the Super Duty pickup. The influx of cash will add 350 jobs to the factory.
The investment is also good for a 15-percent increase in annual production thanks to retooling and other facility upgrades, which equates to an extra 55,000 units of production. Considering that Ford makes even more money off its Super Duty than it does on the hot-selling F-150, this could mean some serious coin to Ford's bottom line.
