This van is in great condition, was very well cared for under the GE Capital Lease program, van was leased to Tenn Department of Correction for Prisoner transport, interior had spray on foam insulation installed and covered by FRP board which makes van very easy to heat and cool.
Van has been set up for Electrical Service work with new Pratt & Leggett shelves on two side walls and 2 sets of Adrian Steel full extension drawers that are full width of van and another set of Adrian Steel small drawers. Ladder racks are Loads-Rite drop down style on both sides. Van has 289K on body but engine and transmission has 102,000 on it. NADA value @ 102K is 9825.00 and @ 289K is 7255.00, I used 140 k as a reasonable valuation and NADA is 8875.00 on van alone. Shelves were bought new in 2013 @ 1300.00 cost and Adrian Steel items value is 3400.00 new. Making value of van with shelves and drawers and ladder rack 13,575.00. Most all power tools are Makita brand purchased in last couple of years from industrial supply house. Hand tools are Rigid , Ideal, Klein, and other name brands. There is a full combo tool package of Makita Lithium Ion 18 volt cordless tools. Rigid Model 700 pipe threader, Kobalt 26 gallon compressor. ProQuip 8.3 Generator, all ladders are Werner, 6' & 12' step and 20' extension. There is 100' of polyurethane air hose and 400' of extension cord, numerous power strips. Ideal conduit benders. Van has a basic supply of common breakers, light switches, single and 3 way, outlets and GFCI in all common colors, with switch and outlet covers to match colors, light bulbs, ballasts, approx 1400' of 12/2 wG Romex wire, several 250' rolls with some used off of in 14/2, 14/3, 10/2, 10/3. Numerous rolls of 500' single wire in various colors in 12ga, 14ga, thousands of various wire nuts, variety of exterior PVC fittings and exterior application boxes. Van comes with one temporary power pole with numerous outlets. I am estimating 4000.00 in tools and 2500.00 in inventory supplies. Logo was professionally designed and I own the web domain for theelectricaldr .net and .com My health from a broken back and neck and 17 surgeries, prevented the business from actually getting started so from a business standpoint it has no business record or credit good or bad, and is completely debt free. The individual totals I have listed come up to $20,075.00 and that does not include the logo cost which has numerous file types for different media advertising, print, vehicle, uniforms etc. and does not include cost of web domains. This would be a great opportunity for someone wanting to start a business or maybe give a professional jump start to an existing small business or just to a existing company looking to expand their fleet. The cost also does not include the time and effort of stocking the van and organizing the supplies and tools. Ford issues six recalls covering 101,000 vehicles for multiple issues
Tue, 08 Jul 2014Ford is announcing six separate recalls for a variety of issues affecting a dozen models and a total of 100,610 vehicles in North America. However, according to Ford spokesperson Kelli Felker, "None of them have caused accidents or injuries." Half of them cover fewer than 1,000 cars.
The largest recall covers 92,022 North American examples (about 83,250 in the US) of some models of the Ford Taurus, Lincoln MKS, Ford Interceptor, Flex and Lincoln MKT from the 2013 and 2014 model years; the 2012-2014 Edge and the 2014 Lincoln MKX. All of them have a potential issue with the halfshaft on the right side that might not be fully seated and could move outward over time. If it shifts too far, the models may no longer be able to drive, and the condition could also allow the vehicles to roll away, even when in Park. Dealers will inspect the shaft to make sure it's seated and will replace the part if necessary.
The next-largest recall covers 5,264 North American examples (4,867 in the US) of the Ford F59 Commercial Stripped Chassis from the 2011-2014 model years. It's possible that an electrical junction box can corrode in areas with salty roads and short circuit. The problem could potentially cause a fire. Dealers will replace the box with an improved design.
2016 Green Truck of the Year, Commercial Green Car of the Year finalists

The 2016 Green Truck of the Year, the second time the award has been handed out, is being decided by judges from Green Car Journal and the San Antonio Auto & Truck Show. This year the award is joined by the new 2016 Commercial Green Car of the Year, which crowns one of the little vans increasingly used by small business as cargo and delivery vehicles. The Green Truck of the Year finalists are the Chevrolet Colorado Duramax (pictured), Ford F-150, GMC Canyon Duramax, Nissan Titan XD, and Toyota Tacoma. The first three of those were on last year's list, but since they are completely new or upgraded for 2016 - Ford with its all-aluminum body, the General Motors twins with the new diesel Duramax engine - they qualify for entry again.
