2006 Ford E-350 6.0 Diesel Powerstroke Cutaway Ford Dually with average miles,No rust, Starts good cold & warm runs good & great power, Transmission works great!! A/C is cooling well! Cruize works well. The passenger seat is a little rough as seen in the pictures, There are holes in the hood & front fenders where the ambulance equipment was removed. Tires are 10 ply about worn out not so greats!!!! Wheelbase is 138" Cab to axle is 80" & the back of cab to rear of frame is 144". Rear temporary tailights will be included if you need them to drive it home (If your not hauling it or shipping it by truck freight) Rear fiberglass caback is available for purchase after purchase of chassis if you wish 6" 12" with or without rear window. Ford to rebrand SVT as 999?
Mon, 22 Sep 2014Ford operates a number of performance divisions around the world. There's SVT in the US, Team RS in Europe and Ford Performance Vehicles (FPV) in Australia. But the Blue Oval has been steadily integrating its performance operations into one unit, and here we might have our first indication of what it will be called.
A reader at Jalopnik sent in a survey in which respondents were asked to gauge the name for a new performance brand from a "major automotive manufacturer," and while the identity of that automaker was not disclosed, according to the survey, the automaker is considering the name 999 for its new go-fast unit.
As our compatriots point out, the 999 was Ford's first racecar, a rudimentary chassis with a 19-liter inline-four campaigned by Henry Ford around the turn of the 20th century. (Ford also used the number to designate a Fusion fuel-cell racer a few years back.) That could prove the tie-in Dearborn is looking for in rebranding its performance operations worldwide, replacing the letters SVT, RS and FPV globally under one name.

Ford moving medium-duty F-Series production from Mexico to Ohio

A few more Ford trucks will be built in the US in the near future with news that production of the F-650 and F-750 medium-duty trucks will move from Mexico to Ford's Ohio Assembly Plant in Avon Lake, OH. Ford hasn't confirmed a precise timeline for the move, but The Detroit News claims the Blue Oval will make the shift later this year or in early 2015.
As Ford spokesperson Mike Levine reminded us, back in 2011, Ford announced in an investor release that it would shift production "after the [Ohio] plant stops current production of the Ford E-Series vans." According to that release, the Ohio factory will also receive $128 million in upgrades to build the new trucks, plus the F53 motorhome chassis and F59 commercial chassis.
