Selling my Scooby Doo Van - The Mystery Machine :) Took great care of it ... made great memories. Solved a lot of mysteries. Lots of $$$ into it. Just look at the photos. PS3, flat screen with a built in DVD player, great sound system, refinished the wood inside, brand new carpet, new tires, converted the shocks to straight struts (for better ride) and even brand new windshield wipers. Also features a BED! ;)

2004 Ford E-150 (before the conversion) Chariot Custom Vans conversion, it's a smaller 4.6 V8, not too bad on gas. 141K on it. Just made 3 back and forth trips up to Maine 1,200 miles each. Runs beautifully, that engine and transmission is sound and will go at least 250K and over if you take good care of it.

Looking for a good home. I doubt anyone will find anything comparable in such a great shape and in this conversion.

My name is Sam and my cell is 1.203.918.4191 the van is located in Stamford CT if you are coming in for a test drive.

The 11 most expensive American cars ever

Tue, 12 Aug 2014

Here's a Pro Tip for all you would-be classic car investors out there: buy Ferraris. With the Pebble Beach festivities kicking off this week, including any number high end car auctions, we thought it would be entertaining to compile a list of some to the most expensive cars ever sold with the bang of a gavel. Trouble is, once you get past the splendor of everyone's favorite Italian sports car maker, that list is pretty boring.
Ferrari dominates the all-time auction sales list; seven of the top ten most expensive cars sold wear the Cavallino Rampante badge, as well as more than half of the top fifty. Sure, a nearly $30-million Mercedes-Benz W196 racecar might be the new top dog as of last year, but it's even possible that Ferrari could take that title back in Monterey this weekend. Long story short: we think a list of the most expensive American cars ever sold at auction is a lot more entertaining to read. Hell, our list has a friggin' Batmobile on it, how can it go wrong?
Follow on below for the top ten cars that are red, white, blue and a whole lot of green.

Shelby boosts production of 575-hp Raptor on early demand

Mon, 08 Apr 2013

Shelby American unveiled its all-new Shelby Raptor at the New York Auto Show last month, saying that it would build just 100 examples of its off-road bad boy, a pickup priced at $17,995 over the cost of the donor Ford F-150 SVT Raptor. But the Las Vegas outfit apparently underestimated just how popular the supercharged 575-horsepower 4x4 would actually be.
Strong early demand reportedly has Shelby singing a whole new tune, as the company is now saying it will build upwards of 500 units annually. While the increased production will likely make for at least 400 more happy owners, those who were on the original short list - possibly speculating on future values - might not be grinning as much. Needless to say, the company has assured everyone that each and every one of the modified Raptors will still be listed in the official Shelby registry.
Keep in mind that Ford isn't sitting idle on its trophy-truck-for-the-street, either. The company will reveal its own 2014 F-150 SVT Raptor Special Edition this month.
