2001 Ford E-450 V10 Econoline Super Duty 16 Ft Box Truck Van Ramp E450 Delivery on 2040-cars
New Egypt, New Jersey, United States
Up for sale is our 2001 E-450 Ford Econoline V10 16 foot box truck. This vehicle has been owned and maintained by us for the past four years. Vehicle was mainly used only every other weekend for flea market sales (less than 200 miles per month). Vehicle runs good and is roadworthy. ABS light is on in truck. New transmission, driveshaft and emergency brake drum was installed in 2012 which costed us $3,000.00. Vehicle has been used less than a dozen times in the past year. It has a 16 foot box and additional box area lighting we installed. It also has an aluminum ramp for easy loading and unloading that stores under the box and a step bumper. Vehicle had some damage to the top of the box that has been repaired. There is a small piece of fiberglass missing from the engine hood. Engine could use a tune up. This truck has cruise control, air conditioning and an AM FM CD player. Manual windows and locks. Dont be fooled by the mileage. These are good running, long lasting trucks.
Please ask any questions prior to purchase or offer. Interested buyers are encouraged to come and inspect vehicle. This is an as-is where-is sale. No warranty or guarantees are offered or implied. |

Ford Explorer Jackson Pollock Edition results in trip to hospital
Tue, 02 Jul 2013Among the many useful pieces of driving advice we've taken to heart over the years, "Safely secure all cargo" is etched pretty high on our personal stone tablets. We've had a couple of frustrating moments over the years (numerous wonky cupholders and too-tall lidded cups; a radar detector that released its suction cups and dashed itself below the dashboard, etc.), but never anything like the scene above.
These photos above come courtesy of the Washington State Patrol, and they show the unfortunate aftermath of a driver, his dog, and his Ford Explorer after it crashed near the town of Belfair last week. According to reports, the man was schlepping five-gallon containers of paint inside his vehicle when he was involved in an unexplained accident. It's not clear what triggered the crash, but the impromptu abstract painting covered the whole of the interior, including the driver and his faithful companion.
The man was transported to a local hospital for minor injuries, and his dog was cleaned and later taken to a humane society.
The history and future of the Ford Bronco
Tue, 17 Jun 2014
Some have suggested that the Bronco's demise was hastened by the fallout from the O.J. trial.
Twenty years ago today, ex-NFL linebacker Al "A.C." Cowlings drove his friend and onetime running back Orenthal James "O.J." Simpson on a parade lap of the Los Angeles highway system and onto an ignoble page of the history books. If you're in your late 20s or older, or a fastidious young student of 1990s American history, you're absolutely aware that Al and O.J.'s steed for the 'chase' was a white Ford Bronco. The white Ford Bronco, even.
2016 Ford Explorer embarks at the LA Auto Show
Wed, 29 Oct 2014Twenty-five years since its debut in 1990, Ford will celebrate a quarter century of Explorer models next year with the debut of a refreshed 2016 model at the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show on November 19. The Blue Oval is keeping mum on hard details about the updated SUV for now, but the brand promises, "a new look, added capability and additional driver-assist technology," in its announcement.
Company marketing boss Jim Farley elaborated a little more on what to expect. "The new Explorer is still the SUV America fell in love with - a vehicle built for the perfect family adventure," he said in the release that you're welcome to read down below.
An updated Explorer is a pretty big deal for Ford's bottom line. Worldwide, SUVs and crossovers account for about 23 percent of Ford's sales, and the segment is projected to grow to around 29 percent by 2020. Ford further says that SUVs and CUVs are the world's quickest growing segment with demand up 88 percent since 2008.
