2000 Ford E-350 Econoline Base Extended Cargo Van 2-door 6.8l on 2040-cars
San Diego, California, United States
2000 Ford e-350 EB V10 4x4 One of a kind, desired color and V10 motor, less noise than the diesel and will last as long. This van gets attention everywhere it goes, people stare, wave and stop to talk. I bought this van a little over a year ago put a lot of money and work into it. Seats 4 + passenger and third seat swivels, benches open for extra storage, 10 gallon water on board, outside shower (no hot water, did not install a water heater but one can be easily added). Tires have less than 2k on them and are 35’s. When I bought this last year I had the motor, transmission, transfer case, rear end and break system gone over. All fluids changed, plugs wires, hoses that need it, new brakes, rotors and calipers, transfer seal case replaced and had transmission checked when it was apart. Custom built benches with rail for wood slates which turns into a bed with room for storage under. Ideally I wanted to get cushions made for the benches that would fold out to cover the slates. I have receipts for all work and all items purchased, similar to a sportsmobile but all custom work. I added 2 Captain Chairs (Driver and Passenger from a 2009 Ford Econoline, after that the airbag light stayed on. Not sure what is causing this, it worked before I swapped out the seats.

California Man Reunited 33 Years Later With Thunderbird
Wed, Sep 3 2014A California man was at a loss for words when he was reunited with his prized 1964 Ford Thunderbird on Tuesday, 33 years after it was stolen from a bar parking lot. Gary Chartrand could hardly believe how well his old Thunderbird held up in the last three decades. The odometer had only added about 1,000 miles from when he last saw the car back in the 1980s. "A few bumps and bruises but boy, not much changed," Chartrand told KOVR. Chartrand bought the car as a present to himself after finalizing his divorce from his wife of 10 years in 1981. It disappeared one night from the parking lot of a Sacramento bar where he was working. Police found Chartrand's car 750 miles north in Washington State. They have no leads on who might have stolen the classic car. Related Gallery Buying An Older Car: Five Things To Watch Out For
Would a Mustang-based Lincoln look like this?
Mon, 07 Jan 2013Designer Josiah LaCalla has taken a stab at what a Ford Mustang-based Lincoln model might look like with the Continental Mark X1 concept. Make no mistake, Ford's luxury arm has made it abundantly clear that it won't be pursuing any new products outside of volume models, which means a flashy halo grand tourer like the one you see here isn't in the cards. LaColla used the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG as a basis for his creation, which explains the long nose, but we certainly don't mind the idea of a rear-wheel drive Lincoln with a cabin pushed to the aft.
While we're dreaming, there's certainly nothing stopping us from imagining what's under that lengthy hood. We like the idea of the 5.8-liter supercharged V8 from the Shelby GT500 pushing the Mark X1 down the road, but how about something a little more inventive? Something like a high-revving, buttery V12 with enough torque to push the contraption well past 200 miles per hour. Dream a little dream, people.
Autocar pits Formula Ford against Germany's finest
Wed, 25 Sep 2013Ford has quite the racing pedigree, but usually, its racers are relegated to the track. Not the new Formula Ford EcoBoost, though. It's a turbocharged, open-wheeled racer complete with a 200-horsepower, 1.0-liter, three-cylinder engine... and it's legal on the roads of the UK.
That's stressed in this video from Autocar, with the mag going so far as to show the car's tax disc and license plates. Being a road-legal offering, it's tempting to see just how well an open-wheeler that delivers racecar-like performance while also netting over 100 miles per gallon (assume this is on the British cycle, for obvious reasons) stacks up against modern performance cars.
Autocar lined up the Formula Ford against an Audi R8 V10, a BMW M6 Gran Coupe and a Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG in a number of situations to see which would come out on top. Take a look below for the full video.
