You are looking at a 1999 E150 Cargo Van.  As you can tell, the van is very clean - everything works and works well (including AC, Cruise, etc).  We have owned the van since 2002 and used it in our business (now deceased).  The specifics:

First - it does have 193,520 miles on it.  When we purchased it in 02 it was a leased vehicle - part of a fleet of vehicles utilized by a medical supply company in the midwest.  At that time it had 120,000 miles on it and was extremely clean - I did see the complete maintenance records when I purchased it although I cannot find them now.  When it had 140,000 miles the motor was "converted" to synthetic oil - which it has in it today.  It does not leak, ooze or use any oil.  Thus, while the motor has some miles on it, it is very strong and runs well.  The transmission shifts smooth with no problems (I have had it flushed twice since we have owned it).  The van gets 16 mpg - highway or city (better than a V-8).

We used this van in our previous business (hauling housewares).  Thus, it has never been worked hard or abused (never even been on a real jobsite).  It does have a class 3 hitch on it (I used it to pull a small trailer from time to time).  The tires have lots of tread left on them.  It does have a current VA safety inspection (it has had about 1,000 miles on it since the inspection).  It does have shelving in it on the driver's side.  I also have the metal shelving for the passenger side (we removed this when we purchased the van).  This shelving is included.  The van has also been serviced exclusively by a local shop - they have all records on it.  I can provide their POC so you can call and verify service history.

The interior is in excellent condition - no tears or rips in the seats.  All of the gauges work as does the AC.  Overall the pictures tell the story - the van has been well cared for and has many, many years of good service left.

I do have the van for sale locally - so, if you want it, you need to buy it now.  Utility vans of this quality and condition are impossible to find so it will not be around for long.

Also, no low-ball offers.  If I cannot get my price I will simply keep it and use it for volunteer work.

Ford abandons MyFord Touch, all hail Sync 3 infotainment [w/video]

Thu, Dec 11 2014

MyFord Touch has been among the most widely disdained automotive infotainment systems on the market, practically since its introduction in 2010. Consumer Reports was among the most vocal critics, all but advocating its lynching by an angry mob armed with torches and pitchforks. Not surprisingly, then, after such a critical walloping, Ford has finally decided to say goodbye to the unloved tech, declaring the end of MyFord Touch branding in favor of Sync 3 for its upcoming, all-new system. Ford is promising everything you would expect from Sync 3, including faster response time, better voice-command integration, easier controls and a more useable interface. The screen layout includes fewer items to make them easier to discern, and the icons are made from large, high-contrast buttons. There's also a dedicated tab for apps at the bottom of the screen in addition to those for audio, climate, phone and navigation. Another useful feature is the fact that Sync 3 can download improvements over your home Wi-Fi for easier updates. In addition to the revamped interface, the software running behind the scenes is a big change too. Rather than MyFord Touch's Microsoft-sourced system, Sync 3 uses the Blackberry-owned QNX, according to Automotive News. Such a switch was rumored earlier this year. Drivers still have to live with MyFord Touch a little longer, though. According to Automotive News, Ford said that the change to Sync 3 will happen during the 2016 model year with complete integration into the lineup by the end of the 2016 calendar year. It will come standard on Titanium trim models and as a separate option will be priced in line with the current MyFord Touch. The Sync 3 brand will carry over to Lincoln, too, but with a different look. The gallery above shows a few more looks at the interface, and we invite you to scroll down to watch a video of Sync 3 in action and to read Ford's press release about it, below. Here are the best-selling cars and trucks from January 2015

Fri, Feb 6 2015

Every month, Autoblog slogs through all the sales figures reported by automakers that do business in the United States, and, after a little bit of sorting, we put it into an easy-to-read chart in an attempt to make it as easy as possible to follow the ins and outs of sales and shipments. But that only covers the brands themselves, not the individual models they sell. And we think you'd all be interested in knowing which vehicles beat their rivals in sales from month to month, so we've put together this handy gallery to keep you in the know. While the leader of the pack may not come as much of a surprise, the order that the top ten finishes in changes frequently – due to automaker deals, the price of gas, etc. – and we've included some statistics to help you see how their current performance stacks up to month's past. Ford EcoBoost smashes records at Daytona

Thu, 10 Oct 2013

Some mighty machines have lapped the banks of the Daytona International Speedway over the years: thunderous V8-powered stock cars, Le Mans-conquering Group C prototypes, open-wheel Champ Cars, knee-dragging superbikes... heck, the infield lake has even hosted powerboat racing. But this - this is the fastest car ever to lap the legendary raceway.
What you're looking at is the new Daytona Prototype being prepared by Riley Technologies for the new United SportsCar Championship. The car, released just last week, is powered by a new 3.5-liter turbocharged V6 from Ford's EcoBoost family, and just obliterated the top speed at the track with a blistering 222.971 miles per hour through the traps.
That's enough to annihilate the previous record that was set, also under Ford power, by Bill Elliott while placing his Thunderbird on pole for the 1987 Daytona 500 that he would go on to win. His 210.364 mph record had stood for 26 years until now.
