Thank you for viewing my auction!

You're looking at a 1995 Ford E350 cargo van with 165519 miles at the time of this listing. I may use the van prior to the ending of the auction so the actual mileage at the end of auction may be more. I purchased this van 2 years ago and have been completely pleased with its look and overall performance. I have put about 10,000 +/- miles on it myself. I purchased the van in Santa Barbara and was told that it was a California vehicle with the occasional trip out of state. The previous owners set up the van to carry Dirt Bike motorcycles which they took to events. I used the van for my business but have optioned to just use my trucks instead. If you have any questions. please ask them.

Looks: The unique tri-color exterior always gets looks and commented on where ever I go and the Eagle aluminium wheels really make it a neat looking vehicle. The paint is an older application and other than the hood which has some oxidation, the paint looks really good and shinny, but expect to see the regular paint nicks. The body is nice and straight and doesn't appear to have been in any accidents (see pictures) no dents. The interior is a standard grey vinyl two seat configuration. The Dash has no cracks in it and the instrument panel is clear and looks great! The windshield has (1) horizontal crack in it. The previous owner installed the separation barrier and added 2 6x9 Sony speakers...the other speakers are in the doors. The drivers seat is in fair condition overall but I would say the passenger seat is in "Excellent" condition. The floor in the cargo area is a white & black checker board sheet vinyl. It has (2) built-in in plywood boxes for the jack and road maintenance parts and an attached tool box (red). The van was not cleaned prior to taking the pictures. I did this on purpose to give it an honest representation of it's every day look, but when it's cleaned it looks awesome!

Drives: 7.5 with automatic transmission w/overdrive. The van has plenty of power and drives nice and straight with no issues. It gets about 14 miles per gallon when driving 65 mph empty. As you can see in the pictures I have the van loaded with material but you'd never know it from looking at it from the outside...doesn't notably list hardly at all meaning you'd never know it was full of material. The A/C blows nice and cold and the interior separation panel from the cargo area lets the cab cool down quickly. Power steering/brakes w/electric trailer brakes. Almost no travel in the braking pedal and the van comes to a stop as it should both loaded and empty. The tires are good to fair. I personally think this van is "tops" in dependability. I've never experienced any notable issues with it since I've owned it. It's simply been spectacular.

VIN: 1ftjs34g5sha17646

Known issues:
-Crack in windshield
-Mid cargo door opens from the inside
-Rear cargo door uses aftermarket lock
-Loose headliner (aftermarket)
Please ask questions!...I deal in all my transactions with full disclosure so if I forgot to state something you have a question about or would like more clarification please ask!
If you're local and would like to schedule to take a look at it that's fine, but no tire kickers. I simply have no time for any games. Thanks again!

Top horsepower-per-dollar cars in 2017

Tue, Feb 17 2015

Bang for the buck. That quasi-scientific statistic is bandied about by motor heads everywhere from classrooms to barrooms, though the truth of the matter is that it's exceedingly complex to measure. A fair performance-per-dollar index would include something like cross-referencing MSRP (Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price) with point-to-point times on a track or driving route, which is obviously hard to do comprehensively. But, for the sheer joy of talking about cars and playing with a big spreadsheet, there's always the horsepower-per-dollar index, which is more straightforward, albeit hilariously flawed. There are vagaries even with this simple formula, of course: MSRP for vehicles can change at a moment's notice, to say nothing of the bottom-line shifting that happens with local deals or showroom negotiation. For this list we're running with the straight MSRP wherever possible, and as recently reported as we can get it. All the vehicles on this list are 2017 models, and all trims are reported where the lowest price and differing power levels intersect. Some choices were made for personal preference and some for sanity, avoiding things like all 48 trim levels of the Ford Transit, all with the same horsepower). If this list were a simple top ten, or even a top fifty, you'd be bored to tears with all the red, white and blue that is represented. Following perfectly with conventional wisdom, American cars really do lead the world where hp/$ is concerned. So, for the sake of variety (and the sheer joy of seeing a minivan 'win' one round of this thing) I've sorted out some top five and bottom five lists for broad power categories. Let's dive in. Less Than 100 Horsepower Okay, okay, this is hardly a category we'll grant you. But we've often tried to click off all the sub-100-hp cars on sale in the US, and making this list gave us an excuse. It also illustrates that none of these smallish vehicles bring cheap horsepower to the table - for that you'll need a motorcycle. The segment-leading Chevy Spark (above) asks just over $139 for each hp, and that Smart Fortwo Electric Drive has hp on sale for about the same price as its very distant family cousin, the Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG (insert your favorite Smart joke here... we know you want to).

Ford begins testing right-hand-drive Mustang

Wed, 20 Aug 2014

Ford has officially kicked off testing of the right-hand-drive variant of its sixth-generation, 2015 Mustang, according to a statement issued by the company, which came with the above photo.
According to Ford, this will mark the first time a right-hand-drive 'Stang has traveled down the company's assembly line alongside its LHD brethren. It is far from the first of the legendary pony cars to feature its wheel on the wrong side, though, as converters in RHD markets across the globe have been making swaps for years.
Ford is planning on using the white, droptop Mustang for RHD development ahead of the car's arrival in the UK, Australia and South Africa, among other markets. Scroll down for the official press blast.

Ford books $1.2B profit in second quarter on strength of trucks

Wed, 24 Jul 2013

Ford is rolling along nicely, with a positive second-quarter sales report and a $2.3 billion profit in North America. The Dearborn, Michigan-based manufacturer captured $1.2 billion globally from April to June, with a $177 million profit in Asia. Even in Europe, the land of doom and gloom for automakers not named Mazda, Ford saw some success as it lowered its expected full-year loss from $2 billion to $1.8 billion. The company lost $348 million in Europe during the second quarter, which, believe it or not, represents a $56-million improvement over 2012.
According to the report on CNBC, Ford enjoyed a three-percent increase in pre-market trading thanks to the news. The strong demand for the F-150 propelled growth in the US market, while Ford's 47-percent increase in Asian sales can be attributed to the new EcoSport crossover and Kuga (Ford Escape in the US) arriving in the somewhat fragile Chinese market.
Pre-tax profits for Ford are expected to be in the neighborhood of $8 billion by the end of the year, with sales the US, Europe, and China all looking up. The company also shifted $4.78 billion of asset-backed debt in the form of bonds, according to a report by Bloomberg. This move came amidst rumors of the Federal Reserve cutting back on its $85-billion-per-month bond purchases. Ford wasn't alone among automakers looking to sell off debt, though, as Mercedes-Benz and Nissan shifted around $1 billion each in bonds relating to auto loans.
