The rust is primarily on the lower drivers side of the van but I just spent $500 on all new patch panels from MAC's auto and they are included with the sale of this van if you choose to repair it. I've been driving it as is."

up for sale is this groovy 1967 Ford Falcon Club Wagon window van.  It's the same as a 1961 to 1967 Ford Econoline van but the club wagons came with cool interior window trim, which this one has all of and it's all in good condition in white.  This van allegedly started life as a yellow school bus in Minnesota but was painted brown at some point.  The van ran good when I got it but I still had the radiator recored, installed new brakes, wheel cylinders, master cylinder, battery, 4 brand new tires, and more.  This van is a dependable daily driver that gets good gas mileage and is fun to drive.  Everything works except the dash lights.  I've not looked into it because I don't drive it at night often.  It's a blast to drive but because of the way it's geared it only likes to do about 65mph, but it gets there much faster than you'd think. It's got barn doors on the passenger side and in back and pop out windows on both sides which is nice.  The drivers side window is frozen and doesn't currently roll down.  It needs to be hit with some PB Blaster or something to loosen it up.  The van has typical rust around the bottom and it's much worse on the drivers side but I just ordered and recieved the entire driver's side of patch panels from MAC's Antique Truck parts and those $450 worth of panels are INCLUDED IN THE SALE of the van.  It's fine to drive the way it is though.  There are no rear seats in the van and the front seats are believed to be high back bucket seats from a 1969 Mustang Mach 1.  I like them.  they are period correct and have a higher more comfortable back than the factory seats.

This is a great van that you can restore later and DRIVE NOW.

The van is lowered in two of the pictures which was done by flipping the front axle but it didn't turn or ride well so it is back to stock height now.

Riding along in Ford's bonkers Fiesta ST Global RallyCross car [w/video]

Wed, 28 Aug 2013

The Mountune-worked Fiesta ST GRC does 0-to-60 mph in 1.9 seconds.
On any given day, and every single weekend, there's at least one parking in the country invaded by manufacturer and team trucks. The be-chromed beasts and their 53-foot trailers are slotted into rows, men and women decorate the lot with orange cones to mark the invisible tracery of a temporary track, cars get unloaded, crews fret over them. The ritual can be as beautiful as the sunrise to those with enthusiast hearts, but it's just as common.

Ford Focus Electric gets $6,000 price drop, now starts at $29,995

Mon, Oct 20 2014

In early 2013, the Nissan Leaf shed a massive $6,500 from its $35,200 base price to offer a new starting price of $28,800. Since then, we have seen numerous other plug-in vehicles get smaller price tags, from the Honda Fit EV (lower lease price) to the Chevrolet Volt (around $5,000 lower) to the Mitsubishi i (a $6,130 drop). Last year, Ford lowered the $39,200 price of the Focus Electric by around $4,000, but that hasn't been enough to get the Ford EV to really compete, saleswise, with other plug-in vehicles on the market. But wait, as they say, there's more. This past weekend, Ford lopped another $6,000 from the price of both the 2014 model year Focus EVs currently on dealer lots as well as the redesigned 2015 models that are now rolling out (they're basically the same car, minus some appearance changes). Ford spokesman Aaron Miller confirmed to AutoblogGreen that the Focus EV will now start at $29,995 and said that reducing the price should make the Blue Oval's only pure EV competitive. "We hope by reducing the price we're giving consumers another reason to consider it," he said. Through the end of September 2014, Ford has sold just 1,534 Focus EVs in the US (the model sold 1,335 in the first nine months of 2013). For comparison's sake, the Nissan Leaf starts at $29,010 and sells around 3,000 units a month in the US. Miller notes that the Focus EV has been selling the best on the West Coast, and is also doing well on the East Coast. After that, he said Atlanta and the Great Lakes area also see decent sales of model's admittedly small pie. We can only assume that offering the EV for under $30,000 will make that pie somewhat bigger.

Ford recalls Explorer and Lincoln MKC for fire hazard

Thu, Mar 31 2016

The Basics: Ford will recall 5,536 examples of the 2016 Explorer and 2015-2016 Lincoln MKC. The Explorers have build dates between October 20, 2014, and January 28, 2016, at the Chicago Assembly Plant. The MKCs are from between November 25, 2013, and January 25, 2016, at the Louisville Assembly Plant. In total, there are 3,129 total affected examples of the 2015-2016 Lincoln MKC and 2,407 examples of the 2016 Ford Explorer. Of these, 1,543 are in the US and 3,993 are in Canada. The Problem: The combination of the engine block design and the block heater in these vehicles can cause the part to overheat when plugged in. Injuries/Deaths: None reported, but there are two cases of underhood fires in Canada. If you own one: Ford will begin notifying owners during the week of May 16, company spokesperson John Cangany tells Autoblog. Related Video: Ford issues safety recall for certain 2015-2016 Lincoln MKC and 2016 Ford Explorer vehicles to replace engine block heaters Ford is issuing a safety recall for approximately 5,500 2015-2016 Lincoln MKC and 2016 Ford Explorer vehicles to remove the heaters and replace them with an updated design. The engine block design, coupled with the particular block heater installed in these vehicles, causes the unit to be susceptible to overheating when the vehicle is parked and the block heater is plugged in –increasing the risk of an underhood fire. Ford is aware of two reports of underhood fires in Canada, but is not aware of any accidents or injuries related to this issue. Affected vehicles include certain 2015-2016 Lincoln MKC vehicles built at Louisville Assembly Plant, Nov. 25, 2013 through Jan. 25, 2016 and certain 2016 Ford Explorer vehicles built at Chicago Assembly Plant, Oct. 20, 2014 through Jan. 28, 2016. There are 5,536 vehicles affected by the issue, including 3,129 2015-2016 Lincoln MKC and 2,407 2016 Ford Explorer vehicles, with 1,543 of the affected vehicles in the United States and federalized territories and 3,993 in Canada. Dealers will remove and replace the engine block heater with an updated design and, if needed, replace the cord at no cost to the customer.
