THANK YOU FOR NOT WASTING MY TIME AND CANCELLING MY AUCTION AGAIN!!!!!! 2006 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor P71 White with BLACK interior. NICE CAR! Car has approximately 126k on it now, however I am driving it a couple days per week. AUDIOVOX REMOTE START WITH KEYLESS ENTRY PROFESSIONALLY INSTALLED! TWO REMOTES. ONLY INSTALLED TWO MONTHS AGO. Here is the deal- Purchased this car in July 2013 with approximately 95k miles on it. Use it for work here in Michigan as a Court Officer. Equipped with a Cruisers ABC Console ($500 value), which is customized with dual cupholders from RAM MOUNT. Also equipped with a RAM TOUGH UNIVERSAL LAPTOP MOUNT ($350 value), which will stay in the car. No other equipment, radios etc will remain in the car. All antennas will be removed and holes plugged. I had several panels on the car repainted when I purchased it, due to some paint peel issues Ford had with white paint for several years. Car is nearly perfect, clean and sharp, with the only cosmetic issue really being drivers seat has a small tear near the hinge (very common problem, which is easily resolved if you want to take the car to an interior shop, for around $150) Three of the four wheels are brand new as of last October, and the tires were all replaced at approximately 100k miles. They are Goodyear Eagle RSA Police pursuit tires ($220 each new) with approximately 75% left on them. FULL SIZE SPARE TIRE! Rear windows all tinted at 5% professionally. (LIMO) I LOVE THIS CAR. I have driven 7 of these in the last 10 years for work, and this is by far the nicest one I have had the pleasure to drive. I am not in a hurry to sell this car, so if it sells, fine. If it does not fine. I have replaced BOTH sides of catalytic converters since January. So you should have NO problems with these clogging. Transmission shifts perfectly, and engine runs great! Oil changes and tire rotations have taken place at proper intervals. Please see pictures below. PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS BEFORE YOU BID! $500 deposit is due within 24 hours of auction close and full payment due within 7 days. LOCAL PICKUP or YOU ARRANGE SHIPPING ONLY. Even Ford executives had issues with MyFord Touch
Fri, Oct 7 2016MyFord Touch is one of the auto industry's more controversial features. The media broadly panned the infotainment system developed with Microsoft for its slow responses and reliance on voice commands to navigate its deep menus. Oh, and Ford executives weren't big fans, either. Newly revealed court documents in a California class-action lawsuit demonstrate the level of venom Ford employees, both big and small, reserved for the Blue Oval's infotainment system. An error caused Bill Ford's navigation system to crash, leaving the family scion stuck on the side of the road in an unfamiliar area. The documents, unearthed by Forbes, detail current CEO Mark Fields' aggravations with MFT, too. A mechanic emailed an image of a cracked infotainment screen on an Edge to one of Ford's top Sync engineers, Kenneth Williams, suggesting "Mark Fields may have been a little aggravated with the system." But Ford and Fields' issues are nothing compared to the woes of the engineers that had to work on MFT. In a collection of emails obtained by Forbes, one engineer called the system "a polished turd," while another simply said, "These poor customers." And after one engineer suggested using a photo of Ford's Oakville Assembly Plant – home of the Edge, Flex, Lincoln MKX, and MKT production – as a background for the system, one of his coworkers said in an email that someone should instead Photoshop the image to read "abandon hope all ye who enter here," the Detroit News reports. Another summed up the problem, saying: "Ford's quality reputation is completely on the line ... another model year with the same crap is not acceptable." MyFord Touch almost single-handedly torpedoed Ford's reputation in widely reported quality metrics, including JD Power and Consumer Reports. Ford responded with a refreshed Sync3, a wildly improved rethink of its infotainment system that is far more responsive and easier to live with every day. Ford previews updated Police Interceptor Utility for Chicago debut
Tue, Feb 3 2015With more law enforcement agencies across the United States alone than we'd care to count (or ever encounter), selling police cars means big business for American automakers, with Ford, Chevy and Dodge competing to fill the motorpools of every police department, sheriff's office and government agency in the land. For its part, Ford offers the Taurus-based Police Interceptor sedan and the Explorer-based Police Interceptor Utility, and it's preparing to unveil a revised version of the latter at the upcoming Chicago Auto Show in the same city where it's built. Dearborn hasn't given us much to go on with this teaser, showing just a darkened front shot of the vehicle in question with its emergency lighting all aglow. But it's fairly clear that the Interceptor Utility has been given many of the same updates applied recently to the Explorer on which it's based. That starts with the revised sheet metal, but considering that the Interceptor Utility exclusively packs V6 power, the 2.3-liter EcoBoost four that was one of the biggest updates to the civilian Explorer isn't likely to carry over. Ford does, however, promise that the revised Police Interceptor Utility will be "even better" than the model it replaces" and pack "more high-tech features." Related Video:
