I am selling a 2009 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor.

I am the second owner of this Crown Vic Police Interceptor. I purchased it from a small village police department almost a year ago.

This car starts the first time, every time. All of the fluids are clean and full. The engine oil is Mobil 1 fully synthetic. The other fluids have been recently changed with OEM Ford except for the rear differential which has Royal Purple. This car has Goodyear tires all the way around and they are in excellent condition. The brakes were recently replaced with ceramic pads front and rear, and Power stop slotted and cross drilled rotors.

The engine runs exactly as it should. The transmission shifts firm with no slippage. There are no leaks anywhere.

You will not have any concerns.

I have invested more money than I care to admit. I had the spot light removed and professionally sealed. There are two holes in the roof and two in the trunk deck lid that have been sealed. This Crown Vic is equipped with a ticket light in the roof panel, and is fully operational.

The car has a brand new wheel, and spare tire, and a second spare that is more than 50%. This is a flex fuel vehicle with adjustable pedals, keyless entry, and remote start. The Air conditioning was just recharged. You can not get a police interceptor from ANY department in this condition for any reasonable price, considering everything I have had done to this one.

I am not an EBay pro so some of the pictures may be sideways. Either way I think You will get the point. Definitely look at the undercarriage picture. It will say a million words! I will include numerous receipts for work that I have had done. This is a no reserve auction. I am confident in what I'm selling. You will be extremely happy. If I was going to nitpick anything, I will tell you that the steel wheels have some minor rust. Secondly the digital odometer works when it wants to. I want you to be completely satisfied so I will include a rebuilt, NOT USED  cluster. The dealer will charge you 1 hour of labor if you choose to replace it. I paid $224.00 for it, and will include it, still in the shipper's box with the sale.

I am located in Sand Lake, Michigan which is just north of Grand Rapids, Michigan half way between Chicago and Detroit.

I will assist the buyer anyway possible regarding shipping.

Bid what you are willing to pay. I will require a $500 deposit through PayPal at the end of the auction.

2014 Ford Fiesta 1.0L EcoBoost

Fri, 09 May 2014

I'll be honest; when Ford first unveiled its 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6, I was skeptical. Past attempts at building turbocharged American cars were almost universally awful, I reasoned, so why would Ford's latest effort be any different? This may seem foolish today, considering the success that the growing EcoBoost range has achieved - particularly the 2.0-liter and 1.6-liter mills. Yet I once again found myself questioning Ford.
It's the makeup of the 1.0-liter, turbocharged three-cylinder slotted into the compact engine bay of this Fiesta that has a way of breeding doubt. Three-cylinder engines remain an extreme rarity in the US. What's more, they earned a less-than-desirable reputation for applications in the 1980s and 1990s, and my trepidation about this latest three-pot as a result.
As I found out, though, history is a poor informant of modern technology. The thrust available in other cars with the EcoBoost badge on the back has not gone missing here; something the International Engine of the Year committee has lauded. That august body named the 1.0-liter Ecoboost the best engine of 2012 and 2013. After a week of driving, it didn't take long for my fear of threes to get turned into something like that line of thinking.

Ford confirms launch of new Tourneo vans and Ecosport in Europe for Geneva

Sun, 24 Feb 2013

We've already seen plenty of what the Geneva Motor Show will have in store for us in less than two weeks, but most of the confirmed debuts that were announced so far have generally been luxury or performance cars. Ford, on the other hand, will be showing off a couple of its new family-friendly models for European buyers to enjoy.
On the larger side of things, the full range of Tourneo vans (shown above) will be on display, including the introduction of the new Tourneo Courier model, but Ford will also be showing off the all-new EcoSport crossover, which is based on the automaker's Global B platform and will be positioned beneath the Kuga, better known here as the Escape. The subcompact EcoSport was originally unveiled at the Beijing Motor Show last April.

Hennessey Ford GT sets 267.6-MPH record at Texas Mile [w/videos]

Mon, 25 Mar 2013

The record-setting Hennessey-powered camouflage Ford GT we showed you at this time last year headed back to the Texas Mile and managed to bring home yet another record. As you may recollect, last year saw Mark Heidraker's machine sprint to a record 257.7 mph thanks to propulsion from its twin-turbo 5.7-liter V8. The big mill sucks down race gas, and this year the creation pulled off a 267.6-mph run over the weekend. That feat set a new record for the event. Something tells us neither Heidraker nor Hennessey are done squeezing more thrust from this machine.
This particular Ford GT has already gone through a number of permutations. Hennessey started by tweaking the factory supercharger set up before abandoning the blower in favor of two turbos. Since then, the crew has poked and prodded it to coerce as much grunt as possible out of the car. We expect Hennessey will probably come out with a video of the record-setting run shortly, but in the meantime, you can see a couple of videos of the car's runs in Texas below (one of which actually captures the record run). Enjoy.
