This vehicle was owned and operated by the Department of Homeland Security here in El Paso, Texas. It has spent it's life in El Paso. It has never been driven on salted roads. NO RUST. The low miles are certified as actual by the U.S. government. The interior is black cloth with black carpeting. The back seat is vinyl. The interior is in good shape. The power windows, power door locks, power driver's seat, traction control, cruise control, tilt wheel, power lumbar support, power side view mirrors, power trunk release, heated rear glass and AM FM CD stereo all work as they should. The 4.6 litre 250 horsepower police interceptor engine has awesome power and starts and runs great. The automatic transmission shifts crisp and smooth. The brakes have been inspected and are in good shape. The suspension is good and the car handles very well. The tires are Goodyear RS/A and they are in good shape. Full size spare and jack kit. The body is in good shape with only minor nicks and scratches. We had this car inspected for structural damage and found none. We welcome independent inspections and will do what we can to help. 2014 Ford Cobra Jet announced with new colors, parachute mount
Fri, 22 Mar 2013Ford's drag-strip-ready Mustang Cobra Jet is back for 2014, and it's sporting a few changes to make it even better - both in competition and while sitting still. Rolling off the assembly line ready for duty in the NHRA Stock or Super Stock classes, production of the 2014 Cobra Jet is limited to just 50 units.
Racing upgrades for 2014 include the addition of a new three-speed transmission and a parachute mount, and while these will make the car better in the quarter mile, the Cobra Jet's new colors will make it look better tearing down the track. Buyers can now get their racecars painted up in Gotta Have-It Green or a custom, Cobra Jet-exclusive matte black hue. Ford and Ford Racing have already teamed up to make this an incredible factory drag racer with a full rollcage, massive Hoosier slicks, a race-tuned suspension setup and a supercharged 5.0-liter V8. Now, if only wheelie bars came standard...
Unlike the confusing third-party ordering system announced for the COPO Camaro, all you need to snatch up a 2014 Cobra Jet is $97,990 and good timing (as the cars will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis). Tue, 19 Nov 2013Between a bevvy of spy shots, speculative renders and insidery images from the halls of Car and Driver, we've got a pretty decent idea of what the 2015 Ford Mustang might look like. Still, we're excited to see the real deal as soon as possible.
Turns out that Ford has told us just when that first official look might come, too, although it has chosen somewhat of a backdoor fashion for dropping the news.
The video below popped up on the Ford Mustang YouTube channel this morning, promoting a social media effort called #MustangInspires on. The video and hashtag ask fans of the pony car to share pictures of the car - or "photographic stories of inspiration" - on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc. But the truly interesting part of the video description is that which mentions taking "the cover off the all-new Mustang" on December 5. Ford blimp crashes inside Portland Trail Blazers arena
