2006 Ford Crown Victoria Sheriff Or Police Interceptor Vic on 2040-cars
Fort Smith, Arkansas, United States
Up for auction is a very nice 2006 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor. This car was hand picked from the Tulsa, Oklahoma Police department inventory. It has 95,000 miles and it runs and drives great. Motor is smooth and the transmission shifts perfect. Interior is clean with only minor signs of wear, mainly on drivers carpet, but you can't see it because its under the floor mat. Ice cold A/C. Tires have about 50% tread remaining. All electronics work as they should, the airbag light is on but I have been told it's an easy fix and it's due to removing the police electronic gear. I had most of the big exterior scratches and door dings repaired and repainted. Has a few scratches on glass, I think from removal of tint, not sure. One of the backup light lenses is cracked. There is some normal wear and tear on the paint and body, but overall it looks super clean. This is a very nice running and driving police cruiser. Contact me with any questions. Thanks

Petrolicious pays visit to tuning sensation the Ringbrothers
Fri, 08 Nov 2013We caught up with a few projects from Ringbrothers at SEMA this year: a classic Ford Mustang body rendered in carbon fiber, and a De Tomaso Pantera-based concept that made us swoon.
It's with good timing then, that our friends at Petrolicious have uploaded their newest, well-crafted mini-documentary to the expansive airwaves of the Internet. Here, we meet the brothers Ring in person - Mike and Jim - and see how they've lent they're passion for craftsmanship to their business, along with their surname. A 1964 Ford Fairlane dubbed "Afterburner" and a 1965 Mustang called "Producer" star in this show.
Roush getting back into sport compact business with Focus ST mods [w/video]
Wed, 29 May 2013Roush Performance offers a whole raft of parts for folks looking to tune their Ford Mustang and F-150 models, and now Focus owners can start getting in on the hotted-up action, too. Owners of the 2012-13 Focus and 2013 Focus ST can now get a Roush cold-air intake system, and ST owners can also opt for a high-performance cat-back exhaust.
Although all of these components are now available for order, the parts will ship sometime in July; no word yet on pricing. Down the road, Roush will also offer styling upgrades for the Focus as well as performance tuning upgrades such as engine controller, suspension, wheels and tires. Scroll down for a quick video of what the Focus ST exhaust sounds like, as well as a Roush press release.
Ken Block rally cars go blue in the face (and everywhere else)
Wed, 23 Jan 2013Well at least we now know why Ken Block "just ain't care" about smashing up his Ford Fiesta rally car recently. It's because he's getting a full brand makeover including a new team name, new paint scheme and even a new headquarters. Formerly known as Monster World Rally Team, Block and his Fiesta will now be competing under the Hoonigan Racing Division name, which is based out of a new 12,000 square foot facility located in Park City, UT.
As you can tell in the image above, Hoonigan Racing will replace the familiar black, white and green paint scheme with a more colorful design featuring plenty of blue, purple and red; the Monster Energy logo retains some of the car's green. The new paint scheme was inspired by Block's love of skateboard graphics from the '80s and early '90s as well as "Miami Vice-era" speedboats.
Block will continue to compete in multiple rally racing series such as Global RallyCross, World Rally Championship and X Games. The new headquarters features office space on one side and a shop for the cars on the other side. The building features plenty of stuff you'd expect from a company designed around Ken Block, including a massive gaming station for racing video games, recycled shipping containers used throughout the facility and a black bear.
