2005 Crown Vic Police Interceptor P71 with 137000 miles, It was St Marys (ohio) PD car and was then transferred over to one of its officers as his personal car. It was NOT used as a cruiser but for prisoner transport (It took its second owner almost 6 months to find this one as  he did not want a car that had  been dogged out and driven hard!!! The second owner needed something ultra reliable for his family and this was the gem of a car he picked out. They have done a lot of upgrades to the car where it counts like new AC compressor, new tires new UPGRADED front brakes for extra stopping power, all systems fluid flush and more. It is silver in color with black P71 poly / rubber style interior. Recent NC inspection. Ready for new owner. Mechanically 100% sound. Needs nothing.

We are the third owner bought it at less than 300 miles ago and have owned it for just over 2 weeks and no there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. We bought this as a stop gap car (We sold all of our previous cars unexpectedly and did not have anything to drive till we found the cars that we were really looking for so bought this car as an intermediate vehicle). For the amount we paid for it (starting price- being completely honest and open here) and its reliability and dependability, we may just keep it but we are running out of driveway space and tired of playing musical chairs with 3 vehicles in the driveway.

This car has never been in any accident and has been well cared for by both owners and it shows. This is a 8 year old car with most of its mileage from highway driving. The vehicle is in really good condition for its age and there are no major dings nicks or dents on the car. It comes with Ford factory mats in the front and two sets of keys included in the sale (nothing else).

Clear title is in hand. Only bid if you are serious and ready to buy and have finances pre-approved and ready. I will accept money order, cashiers cheque or cash. Very LOW RESERVE. Will only deal during bankers hours (M-F or Sat till 1).

Buyer is responsible for vehicle pickup. No warranties express or implied. Happy to sign a Bill of Sale, Odometer disclosure, , Title and Damage disclosure statement.  Will and can accept escrow payments too if you want to buy this vehicle sight unseen. Inspections and test drives are welcome. Willing to also co-operate with third party inspection agencies or willing to take it to a nearest ford dealership for them to conduct an inspection as  I know the previous owners were meticulous in maintaining this car and it is absolutely sound for another 3-400K miles easy

Oh and this is a non smoker pet free vehicle.

Please do not assume anything. Ask questions if it is not listed here already.

NHTSA investigating Ford Fiesta for faulty door latches

Mon, 15 Sep 2014

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has opened a preliminary investigation on the 2011-2013 Ford Fiesta because the regulator has received 61 complaints from drivers, including one claim of an injury, about the doors on the subcompacts failing to latch and sometimes even flying open while driving. NHTSA has estimated that the problem could affect as many as 205,000 vehicles.
NHTSA is still gathering further data about the problem, but looking at the complaints so far, both front and rear doors appear to be potentially involved with the alleged failures. Among the reports, there are 12 claiming that the door opened while driving. Several also indicate the "Door Ajar" warning illuminating during this problem. The one purported injury happened when someone attempted to shut the door, and it bounced back.
Ford spokesperson Kelli Felker told Autoblog via email, "We are cooperating with NHTSA on this investigation, as we always do." Scroll down to read the report from NHTSA.

Editors' Picks March 2021 | Ford Mustang Mach-E, Polestar 2, Land Rover Defender and more

Thu, Apr 8 2021

The month of March was unofficial minivan month here at Autoblog. We drove all of them but the Kia Carnival, but don’t worry, you wonÂ’t have to wait much longer to read that review. Among all the family-toting machines, we drove some more exciting vehicles including the Land Rover Defender and a pair of up-and-coming EVs. It was a month of excellent cars, meaning that this monthÂ’s litter of EditorsÂ’ Picks is stacked. In case you missed FebruaryÂ’s picks, hereÂ’s a quick refresher on whatÂ’s going on here. We rate all the new cars we drive with a 1-10 score. Cars that are exemplary or stand out in their respective segments get EditorsÂ’ Pick status. Those are the ones weÂ’d recommend to our friends, family and anybody whoÂ’s curious and asks the question. The list that youÂ’ll find below consists of every car we rated in March that earned the honor of being an EditorsÂ’ Pick. 2021 Ford Bronco Sport 2021 Ford Bronco Sport First Edition View 32 Photos Quick take: Ford's baby Bronco is an authentic foil to the big Bronco 2-Door and 4-Door. It brings rugged styling, better-than-average off-road capability and thoughtful utility features to a generic segment of cars. Score: 8 What it competes with: Jeep Compass, Jeep Cherokee, Mazda CX-30, Subaru Crosstrek, Kia Seltos, Chevrolet Trailblazer Pros: Stellar design, excellent off-road, clever interior details throughout Cons: Pricier than most, average transmission, underwhelming interior quality and ambiance in lowest trims From the editors: Road Test Editor Zac Palmer — “I genuinely enjoy driving this cute crossover. It feels like a mini truck on the road, and Ford admirably translated the design from its big Bronco over to this Escape-based crossover. News Editor Joel Stocksdale — "The Bronco Sport isn't perfect, the transmission could use some work, and it's a little bumpy, but it's a characterful little thing with loads of style, great visibility and space, and impressive capabilities on and off road in the powerful Badlands form." In-depth analysis: 2021 Ford Bronco Sport Review | Bronco for the masses   2021 Land Rover Defender 2021 Land Rover Defender 110 View 64 Photos Quick take: The Land Rover Defender provides everything you'd hope for in a modern Land Rover: superlative off-road capability, surprisingly plush on-road demeanor, abundant interior space and abundant character. The base four-cylinder is likely all you'll need and lower trim levels provide more than enough equipment.

2015 Ford Mustang GT road test ride-along

Wed, 24 Sep 2014

You've no doubt already pored over our first drive of the 2015 Ford Mustang, where author Jonathon Ramsey proclaimed that "this new car shames the old, redefines the model and gallops far ahead of anything else in the segment." And following Ramsey's first stint behind the wheel of Ford's new coupe, we sent him back out with another 'Stang to capture some of these same impressions over a backdrop of the car moving quickly along gorgeous California canyon roads.
But this also gave our author and editors time to read through the hundreds of comments left on that original Mustang review. You readers are indeed a vocal bunch, and one particular comment about how the automotive media is so willing to bash an outgoing car as soon as the new one arrives really caught our attention. In this video, Ramsey stands by his written text, saying the new Mustang is "massively better than the one it replaces," and in doing so, addresses your comments while providing more insight into just how good the Ford truly is.
We won't spoil the rest for you. Check out the feature video above, and as always, leave us your thoughts in the Comments section below.
