2005 Ford Crown Vic P71 purchased this car in July. Did some upgrades and improvements to the car. This is a very sound and smooth car. Car received a brand new transmission from Gresham Ford 24,000 miles ago. Recently spark plugs, wires and complete brake job.I also replaced inop windshield wiper motor and had intake manifold gaskets replaced that had a small leak. I purchased and installed a 60 HP gain chip for the car to improve the power and MPG, had the windows tinted and replaced hard prisoner seat with factory soft seat and found civilian seatbelts. also you can see in the pictures I purchased a P-71 Interceptor center console with key lock, an armrest and four cup holders since the original metal box was removed after police service. I also put back factory slide out cup holder, lighter/powerpoint. This car is very fast "HINT HINT"has optional lower 3:55 diff gears and the rack and pinion steering is very tight. The oil still appears clear when I check it. Overall this is a well cared for and clean P71. I don't want to sell this one but have kids at home still. For more info you can call me on my cell# 541-891-5327. My name is Jared. I've driven others before settling on this one and I know this will be one of the nicest P71's found around here. It would be ashame to see it go into taxi service; it's better suited for private security. Look if you're reading this then you've decided you want to own a REAL police car and this one is a sweetheart. a few days breezing around in this makes you feel 'stronger'. If you are in the area of Southern Oregon drive it home. A great open road car with a tight cop suspension makes it seem smaller and handles the curves like a competent car should. I have additional info on places that have aftermarket speed and suspension upgrade parts for this model if you would also like. Licence plates are not included with the car; you will need a trip permit if driving it home. Good Luck and Happy bidding. This car is ready to go for you security service or a business car. You could buy one at a state sale but why risk a unit needing extra work. This one has been sorted out already. Come in by plane and drive it home yourself. New York City cabs are getting 300 to 400,000 miles of use on these durable cars. this one is strong as ever plus it's chipped as i mentioned and stands out among the crown vics pictures dont do it justice as there are very few signs of dents or scrathes found on others. Please press PLAY on this one. Thanks.

Ford Australia launches Falcon GT F 351, last of its line [w/video]
Sun, 15 Jun 2014It's always best to go out with a bang rather than a whimper, and Ford Performance Vehicles is doing just that in Australia with the Falcon GT F 351. It's the most powerful road car the Aussie performance brand has ever made with a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 pumping out 471 horsepower (351 kilowatts) and 420 pound-feet of torque. It's joined by the FPV Pursuit Ute with the same powerplant tuned to 422 hp and 402 lb-ft. Sadly, the last F in this Falcon's name stands for Final.
The GT F 351 is a monumental way to go out, though. It harkens back to the old days of Aussie muscle Fords, and the 351kw output is meant to reference the classic Falcon GT and its 351-cubic-inch V8. In addition to the massive power, the F has the improved suspension from the R-Spec model and Brembo brake calipers.
FPV is building just 500 GT F sedans for Australia and 50 more for New Zealand, plus 120 Pursuit Utes. They feature a blacked-out hood and black stripes over the hood and sides, plus gloss black accents around the headlights, door handles and mirrors.
How Ford hid the 2015 Mustang from spy photographers
Fri, 20 Dec 2013Now that we've finally seen the 2015 Ford Mustang, it's fun to go back and look at the spy shots we spent months pouring over, trying to dissect what was under all the camouflage. For the most part, Ford did a good job of concealing the car from spy photographers, and it released a video showing how much work went into doing so.
As crude as the Mustang's camo looked, all of the hard plastic, foam, vinyl and ratchet straps were actually created and put in place by a specific design team. The whole idea was to hide the car's identity, but it certainly ended up acting as a magnet for attention, too. According to Ford's press release, it took less than an hour for spy shots to appear online after the car was taken on public roads for the very first time - this is likely in reference to our first official spy shots of the Mustang from June, shown in the gallery below.
Scroll down for a press release and video, which shows footage of the 2015 Ford Mustang testing with minimal camouflage. This is probably the same track session where we got our first look at the Mustang's face back in August.
First-edition Detroit muscle raises millions for charity at Barrett-Jackson
Mon, Jan 19 2015Amidst all the classic metal crossing the auction block each year in Scottsdale, AZ, Detroit automakers have a tradition of donating the first examples of their most enticing new muscle cars, with the proceeds of their sales going towards worthwhile charities. This year, Barrett-Jackson handled three noteworthy examples. The highest price among them was the first Ford Shelby GT350R Mustang with the VIN #001, which raised $1 million for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. General Motors donated the first new Chevy Corvette Z06 Convertible, the first retail example of the droptop supercar garnering $800,000 for the United Way. Along with the Z06, GM also donated the first new 2016 Cadillac CTS-V sedan, which brought in $170,000 for Detroit's College for Creative Studies. Although these were the headline Motown muscle machines furnished by the automakers themselves, they weren't the only vehicles auctioned off for worthy causes. A 1950 GM Futurliner bus donated by collector Ron Pratte led the charge when it brought in $4.65 million for the Armed Forces Foundation. Other lots included a custom Jeep Wrangler donated by SEMA ($85k), a new M5 donated by BMW ($800k), a '79 Oldsmobile Cutlass Hurst ($140k), '39 Cadillac LaSalle C-Hawk ($410k), Jeff Gordon's 1999 NASCAR-spec Chevy Monte Carlo ($500k) and a Victory Cross Country 8-Ball motorcycle ($180k). All told, the charity lots raised over $8.7 million for local and national charities.
