You are looking at a great looking 2003 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor Sedan that has 174,753 miles on it. This car runs and drives great. It is tight on the road and is very reliable.  I drove it as my personal car for 20K miles and made a LOT of improvements.  CarFax is PERFECT and the car is valued ABOVE book value. This car is easily worth 5K++++.

The silver exterior is in very good shape and shows well. There are a few very minor dings on the exterior (see pics), but they are very minor and difficult to see.  The pictures don't even do this car justice. The tires are all MATCHING GOODYEAR radials and in good shape.  There is a brand new spare matching FULL SIZE SPARE in the HUGE  trunk!

The gray cloth interior of this Interceptor is clean as a pin. It has been detailed and there are no odors or stains. The radio is not hooked up, but the harness is inside.  The a/c blows ICE cold and the center console is huge!

The 4.6L V8 Ford motor starts right up, has plenty of power, sounds great, and the transmission shifts smoothly.  I switched the oil to synthetic, changed all of the filters (air, fuel) and replaced ALL of the lights and light housings.  This Interceptor will drive you home wherever you need to drive. If you are looking for an economical good looking LUXURY car that has a lot of life left in it this car is for you!!!!!

I reserve the right to delete bids from bidders with a feedback score of less than 5.  Nothing personal, but I have had bad experiences with inexperienced ebayers.

Bid early as we reserve the right to end the auction early for a Buy It Now.   Buy this car now for $4995.00. Please remember that a lot of the bidding happens in the last seconds...At least once a week I hear from a bidder that was outbid, and they would like to buy the car.  We will pick you up at the Salisbury, MD airport or bus station during normal business hours or by appt.   This listing will end on Tuesday, 9/16/14 at 10:30 pm EST.

Ford gets colorful with Mustang anniversary infographic

Thu, 24 Oct 2013

Preparing to celebrate its 50th birthday, the Ford Mustang has seen a lot of vehicle trends come and go, and this especially goes for paint colors. Using historical production data, Ford has managed to create an infographic dating back to 1967 that breaks down the three top Mustang colors for each year as well as calling out some of the more interesting trends and colors over the years.
Over its five generations, the Mustang has been offered in a seemingly endless rainbow - from Playboy Pink in '67 and color-changing Mystichrome on the 2004 Cobra - but the most popular has always been red, which is the color of choice for 21 percent of all Mustangs ever made. Almost every year since 1967, red has been among the top three colors for the Mustang, but other popular colors have included blue, white, brown and, most recently, black. There are even websites and registries available for people owning certain-color Mustangs.
As the all-new 2015 Mustang gets ready for its debut later this year, there's no telling what kind of exciting and/or wacky colors Ford has in store. Click on the image above to see the full infographic (choose the "large" option for optimal viewing), or check it out in a smaller size along with the press release posted below.

What car should James Robertson buy to drive his famous 21-mile commute?

Thu, Feb 5 2015

The Internet has been abuzz this week with the story of Detroit resident James Robertson, the 56-year-old factory worker who has walked some 21 miles to work for the last 10 years. The Detroit Free Press brought Robertson's story to the fore, helping an online fundraising campaign to generate more than $275,000 (as of this writing). The original goal was just $5,000, or about enough to replace the used Honda that died on Robertson back in 2005, and left him walking. So, newly flush with funds, what's the perfect car for Robertson to buy? Let's look at the specifics of his situation, and try to pick out the best options. Here's what we know: Robertson's commute is (famously) 21 miles; he lives in downtown Detroit (for now) and seems pretty humble, so something very flashy is probably out; former Honda aside, his ties to the city (and statements about being a Ford fan) seem to indicate a Detroit Three company product is best; he's a single guy with a girlfriend; he's got to deal with Michigan weather, and the sometimes fickle snow removal processes in The D. Here are some choices: Ford F-150 Robertson is on record as being a Taurus fan, and after a decade of walking I've no doubt that the big sedan would offer a cozy respite. Still, as a car guy and a student of the industry, I'd have a hard time recommending a sedan so clearly in need of replacement. Especially when The Blue Oval has such great stuff within the rest of its roster. The 2015 F-150 seems almost perfect for Robertson. Opting for either of the new EcoBoost V6 engines should help keep fuel bills in reasonable check, while healthy ride height and four-wheel drive will get him to work on time even during the snowiest of snow days. Better still, with a fat options sheet and car-like ride quality, Robertson can have just about every amenity he might want, in a package that won't disrespect his blue-collar roots. Chevrolet Colorado You guys saw this one coming, right? The smaller footprint of the midsize Chevy pickup, relative to some of the other options here, should be an advantage for urban parking and driving. And again, 4x4 is an option for the nasty weather, the running costs should stay pretty low and there aren't many tech/luxury features that can't be had in-cabin. I'd go ahead and splash out on the Crew Cab bodystyle, too, just in case Robertson feels like starting a carpool.
