239 cu in Flathead Ford V8 was professionally rebuilt and overhauled to like new condition.
Fenton headers and Smitty mufflers with dual exhaust (original exhaust manifolds will come with the car).
Ford C4 3 speed automatic transmission was used for modern drive-ability and dependability (original 2 speed
Ford-a-Matic transmission will come with the car if you want it).
Interior was refinished in factory correct finishes and upholstery. The factory radio was converted to AM/FM
with iPod connection.
Body was taken down to bare metal and perfect body work and an unbelievable show quality finish was applied.

Ford reports 58% drop in Q2 profits on European losses

Ford Motor Company announced Wednesday that it has posted a $1 billion profit for the second quarter of 2012. That sounds like good news for the Blue Oval, until you take into account that Ford posted a $2.4 billion profit for Q2 a year ago. That is a substantial 58 percent loss.
Ford also posted $465 million in international losses, with $404 million of those losses coming directly from Europe. The automaker also increased its European loss projections to $1 billion for 2012, due in large part to the economic crisis overseas, which has resulted in increased unemployment and decreased consumer confidence.
Mazda Turnpike in Japan shut down for racing

Not only did they manage to shutdown eight kilometers of the Mazda Turnpike up the Hakone mountain, but they invited some of the country's premiere racers to take a drive up the hill. This wasn't just a Sunday cruise either. Featuring a BMW Z4 from the Super GT series, a classic Ford GT40, two flavors of Nissan GT-R and two takes on the Subaru Impreza WRX STI, these guys came ready to run. When an opportunity to let racecars challenge a curvy mountain road presents itself, you don't squander it. Thankfully, the folks at Motorhead knew that and outfitted the course with a plethora of cameras and high-quality sound equipment to capture the action. The result is nothing short of sublime.
