1978 Ford Bronco Ranger XLT edition 4x4
Extremely rare. This Bronco was found on a Ranch outside of Payette Idaho. It was stored inside and is 100% rust free. The original 400 V8 runs great, It fires right up, idles smooth and accelerates with power. The original carburetor is still installed and functions properly. The transmission shifts smooth and the transfer case shifts properly in both high and low range 4x4. All the running gear is original to the Bronco. Equipped with power steering, power brakes, front disc brakes and factory overload springs on the rear (trailer special edition ) The exterior paint shines like new. There is no rust and the body is straight and free from dings or dents. Equipped with chrome front and rear bumpers, full upper and lower chrome trim and molding, removable hardtop, new BFG All Terrain tires (33 12.5 15) locking hubs and the glass is good all the way around. Ford Fiesta ST orders off to strong start
Fri, 17 May 2013We at Autoblog love the new little Ford Fiesta ST, and apparently, folks in Europe are pretty impressed with it, as well. According to Ford, the automaker's European arm has already logged 3,000 orders for the new hot hatch since it hit dealerships this March. The US-spec car, which will only be available as a five-door, will go on sale in the United States this summer.
What's perhaps most interesting about the Fiesta ST ordering is that the majority of customers appear to be ordering high-spec cars. According to Ford data, 60 percent of customers have opted for the leather interior with Recaro buckets, and 90 percent have selected the upgraded 17-inch wheels (seen on our test car, above). Spirit Blue has been the most popular color, commanding 27 percent of all orders. As for the technology upgrades, 19 percent of customers have ponied up for the Sony stereo with navigation.
To recap, the Fiesta ST is offered with Ford's 1.6-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine, putting out 179 horsepower and 177 pound-feet of torque, mated exclusively to a six-speed manual transmission. We had an absolute blast flinging the hot Fiesta through the French Alps, and we can't wait for this sharp little hatch to make its way over to the States.
Uber hopes facilities in Detroit will help shape its autonomous future
Mon, Sep 19 2016Hot off the heels of unleashing its fleet of self-driving vehicles in Pittsburgh, PA, Uber announced plans to open a new facility in the Detroit, MI area, reports Automotive News. The new facility was announced at an event hosted by Society of Automotive Engineers in Detroit, MI. Uber's vice president of global vehicle programs Sherif Marakby revealed the news, reports Automotive News. The facility is meant to help the ride-sharing company collaborate with suppliers and automakers in the area. There's no word on where Uber will build the new facility or how big it will be, as those factors have yet to be determined. Just like Pittsburgh, PA, Detroit, MI could become another testing ground for the ride-sharing company. The latest move to open a facility in the Detroit area comes after Uber offered users in Pittsburgh the chance to ride in one of its autonomous vehicle as it looks to gain vital real-world testing. Uber is utilizing a fleet of modified Ford Fusions. Earlier this year in April, the automaker announced a partnership with Google, Lyft, Uber, and Volvo to develop autonomous cars. A new facility in Detroit would strengthen the partnership and help Uber, as well as Ford put autonomous vehicles on the road faster.
