1971 Ford Bronco--Restored-- Equipped with Power Disk Brakes, Power Steering, Upgraded (4) Speed Manual Transmission, Hard Doors and Hard Top. We built this Bronco almost to the T as the last one we sold, due to the overwhelming response. This Bronco was taken down and built from the ground up. We spared no expense and built this Bronco to last. The 302 motor was completely rebuilt and bored .30 over, with picture documentation. It has all new pistons, bearings, seals, gaskets, oil pump, fuel pump, water pump, alternator, thermostat, custom aluminum hoses, radiator fan, aluminum radiator, new Edelbrock chrome intake, Edelbrock 4 barrell chrome carburetor, chrome brake booster and master cylinder, new overflow and the list goes on. The engine compartment was base coated and clear coated with the engine out with PPG paint and the underside of the Bronco was sprayed with a undercoating for preservation. The Transmission while it was out was completely gone through checked out and reassembled with new gaskets, synchronizers, bearings, and fluid. We had a brand new exhaust system installed with 40 Series FlowMaster exhaust by a local muffler shop. Both axles were completely taken out, taken apart, sandblasted down, treated with Ospho, primed, and painted with high end paint. While the front axle was apart we replaced seals, bushings, fluid, drag arm bushings and new brake pads and calipers. The rear axle has new seals, brake shoes and fluid. We ran all new brake lines with proportioning valve over the whole truck. We also replaced the front and rear drive shaft u-joints. The frame of the truck was sanded down with 100 grit, 220 grit and then finished with 320 grit sandpaper before we sparyed it with a 3M Under Paint for preservation. We installed all new body bushings bolts, lock washers and nuts. It has a brand new 5 1/2 inch suspension lift with all new powder coated parts and Grade 8 bolts. Brand new shocks, steering stabilizer and boots. We had the radius arms sandblasted down then powder coated Bahama Blue and reinstalled with all new c-busings and radius bushings. We ordered new pre-runner bumpers, we had them powder coated and installed with new KC lights. We installed Brand New BF Goodrich  35x12.50x15 tires sitting on brand new 15x10 Ion Alloy Wheels that were static balanced with only inner weights installed. The inside of the Bronco was sanded down any metal that needed to be replaced was replaced, then it was sprayed with Ospho then Rhino Lined for preservation and durability. The front and rear seats are original Bronco seats that we had re-cushioned and re-upholstered by a local custom upholstery shop. We also had them recover the dash pad with a high end very durable leather that just stands out and looks phenomenal. The dash was completely taken apart and painted Wimbledon White out of the vehicle then re-installed. We do not tape the dash off and paint it as the finish product is half baked and unprofessional. We installed a new aftermarket RPM, oil pressure, voltage and temperature gauges as the old ones tend to not be as reliable. All the gauges are back lit blue at night. We removed the old broken original steering wheel and installed a new Grant chrome and black steering wheel. The doors were taken apart and the panels were painted Wimbledon White and doors put together with all new door handles inside and out, new armrest, new mirrors, new door cups, new door hinges and bolts. Stainless and grade 8 bolts were used wherever possible.  All new complete weather seals were installed around the doors and inside the door window tracks and under the hard top. We also had the front windshield and gasket replaced. The outside of the truck was completely sanded down to bare metal, any and all rust was treated and fixed. We then primed the body and re-seam sealed all the seams on the truck and completely smoothed out body to above original factory standards and then painted it Bahama Blue using PPG paint. Then the body was wet sanded from 1,000 grit to 2,000 grit then to 3,000 grit sandpaper then high speed buffed and polished to a beautiful finish. Their were (4) coats of clear coat put on this truck. The hard top was taken off sanded down prepped and treated for any rust, and painted Wimbledon White using  PPG paint and wet sanded out to 2,000 grit sandpaper and then high speed buffed. All paint was allowed to fully cure before the next step was done so we could get the best and long lasting paint job possible. This truck was very meticulously taken down and put back together properly. Their are many more parts that were put on and more things that were done to this bronco that I can not put them all in the listing. We have pictures of this bronco taken down and put back together so you will see that we are not claiming anything that has not been done to this truck. We will put a few pictures in the listing but can send more upon request. We build these Broncos as a personal hobby and enjoy doing them. We try to offer a top notch truck that is turn key ready to go with nothing that you will have to do to it but enjoy it. We have more Broncos coming up, the next one should be in about two weeks. If you have any questions or would like a custom build just shoot me a email with your number and I will call you and see what we can work out. We welcome anybody, inspector or inspection company to come look at this Bronco before the auction ends as you will see just how much has been put into this Bronco. This Bronco is offered AS-IS and a nonrefundable deposit of $1,000 due within 24 hrs of auction end. Look at my feedback and how long I have been on Ebay and bid with confidence. If you have been looking for a mint condition Bronco this is the one for you. All realistic offers will be considered, but this bronco is priced right for the quality of the build. If you have any question do not hesitate to ask.

On Jun-27-13 at 09:55:17 PDT, seller added the following information:

Sorry it has been brought to my attention that there are no pics of VIN plate in glove box, backseat, or hardtop. I will try to add another picture. VIN plate is in glove box and matches the title. Backseat is original and recovered to match the front seats. Hardtop has been restored inside and out with new gaskets and lift gate prop rods.

Weekly Recap: Ferrari, Ford and Porsche power up for Geneva

Sat, Feb 7 2015

Monday was Groundhog Day. Tuesday, apparently, was Sports Car Day. The Ferrari 488 GTB, the Ford Focus RS and the Porsche Cayman GT4 all debuted within hours of each other ahead of their rollouts at the Geneva Motor Show. Three sporty machines, three vastly different approaches – and a lot of implications for enthusiasts. That's a day worth repeating. It also illustrates the opportunities automakers see in the performance market, which is expected to grow in the coming years. Ford estimates the segment has expanded 14 percent in Europe and surged 70 percent in North America since 2009. The Detroit Auto Show was evidence of this, and performance cars of every stripe debuted, including the Acura NSX, Ford GT, Alfa Romeo 4C Spider and several others. This isn't a fad. Performance cars aren't going away. The question is why? Stricter CAFE standards are looming in the United States, as are tighter emissions regulations in Europe. And no one expects gas prices to remain low in America. None of this matters for sports cars, and automakers are increasingly using them to elevate their images. That's why Dodge rolled out two 707-horsepower Hellcats last year. It's why Ford has decided to resurrect the GT for road and track. It's why in the depths of bankruptcy, General Motors continued work on the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, not to mention the Z06. "Great brands are made one car at a time," Ford of Europe president Jim Farley said at the reveal of the Focus RS. Still, companies make those cars for different reasons. View 5 Photos Mainstream brands like Ford and Dodge want to build cars that get people talking, excite their bases and drive more potential customers into the showroom. They probably don't buy a Focus RS or a Hellcat, but suddenly the regular Focus hatch looks a bit hotter, and that V6 Charger seems to be just a touch more muscular. The halo of performance is alive and well in the eyes of automakers and their customers. "It's one of the most effective catalysts for ingenuity and innovation," said Joe Bakaj, vice president of product development for Ford of Europe. That also leads to a trickle-down effect. Some of the technologies inevitably make their way to other products. It's hard to think the new all-wheel-drive system in the Focus RS that distributes torque front to rear and side to side won't be used in other vehicles. It's different for Ferrari and Porsche.

Ford Ranger-based 7-seat SUV spotted testing

Wed, 29 May 2013

Ford looks to be working on a new SUV version of its global Ranger pickup truck. An early prototype of a seven-passenger SUV based on the Ranger has been spotted testing in Australia, and word has it buyers in the region could expect to see the model in showrooms as soon as 2014, where it could sail under the Endeavour or Everest badges. Ford Australia currently sells the Territory SUV, so there's some chance that this model could be a successor to that throne, as well.
Whatever it's called, the long-roof Ranger will feature a shorter wheelbase and more ground clearance than its pickup twin, giving the machine a bit more off-road functionality. (And here we thought we couldn't want the global Ranger any more than we already do.) While this particular vehicle sports a Territory back half grafted onto a Ranger front end, odds are a public reveal of the finished product could occur as soon as the second half of 2014, making it a 2015 model. Chris Harris checks out Ken Block's Hoonicorn '65 Mustang

Thu, Dec 4 2014

Ken Block's Hoonicorn, which stars in Gymkhana Seven, might still bear a passing resemblance to a vintage 1965 Ford Mustang, but underneath the skin, the car is one of the baddest custom machines to ever do a smoky burnout on the road. The ever enthusiastic British auto journalist Chris Harris is now showing what really makes Block's new ride tick on video, and Harris even gets to go for quite a ride. The only Mustang components really left on the Hoonicorn are the A-pillar, B-pillar and roof, according to Harris. Everything else is ditched to create Block's ultimate Gymkhana tool. The 845-horsepower, 6.7-liter Rousch Yates V8 sits behind the front axle, and the grunt is routed to all four wheels through a Sadev gearbox usually found on Dakar Rally vehicles. The whole drivetrain is packed with cool little touches; like that giant handbrake that also disconnects power from the front wheels when in use. The superlatives about the Hoonicorn could go on forever, but settle in and let a very excited Harris tell you about just some of them. He's like a kid in a candy store here, and the look that combines surprise, fear and joy during his ride with Block is the kind that lacks a suitable word in the English language.
