Ford Bronco 74' - 302ci Auto, Lifted, Black And Silver, New Top on 2040-cars
Park City, Utah, United States
Relisted due to a Buyer without the ability to pay for his purchase. Please be sure you can pay for this BEFORE BIDDING. 1974 Bronco Custom Lifted, great look-- Motor was rebuilt as was the trans. in the last few years. All in great shape, will climb a wall. 302 V8 Gear Drive Timing sounds like a Super Charger. 16 mpg hwy, 10 around town. Doors come off, glass windows in them. We have the doors and the full enclosed almost new soft top. Roll cage, seats redone. VERY SHARP. Truck Rolls on 15 inch rims and 33's that are in very good shape. 456 gears. We have the spare tire carrier but its not on the truck now. Driven 2000 miles this summer and ran great with no issues, this can be used as a daily driver or off-road or both. 456 gears front and rear. Built for the back country but tame enough street drive. We have NEVER had it off road. Just use it as a town cruiser and 300 mile trips to the lake and back. Strong heater and can be driven in the snow country with the enclosed soft top all winter. Gets an incredible amount of attention everywhere it goes. Literally more than a Lamborghini....Women stop and stare! This would be a Great Truck for Huntington, Newport, Malibu or even Beverly Hills, or South FLA this winter!! Drive the same trucks the stars drive at a fraction of the price. Simon Cowell and Jay Leno own them and paid ten times or more. This truck will sell in the spring for $20k plus. I was offered $20k this past June for it on the street without a "For Sale Sign" even in it, but we wanted to drive it all summer!! Pls CALL to request more Photos. I will text them most likely....

2015 Ford Mustang GT road test ride-along
Wed, 24 Sep 2014You've no doubt already pored over our first drive of the 2015 Ford Mustang, where author Jonathon Ramsey proclaimed that "this new car shames the old, redefines the model and gallops far ahead of anything else in the segment." And following Ramsey's first stint behind the wheel of Ford's new coupe, we sent him back out with another 'Stang to capture some of these same impressions over a backdrop of the car moving quickly along gorgeous California canyon roads.
But this also gave our author and editors time to read through the hundreds of comments left on that original Mustang review. You readers are indeed a vocal bunch, and one particular comment about how the automotive media is so willing to bash an outgoing car as soon as the new one arrives really caught our attention. In this video, Ramsey stands by his written text, saying the new Mustang is "massively better than the one it replaces," and in doing so, addresses your comments while providing more insight into just how good the Ford truly is.
We won't spoil the rest for you. Check out the feature video above, and as always, leave us your thoughts in the Comments section below.
Watch how Ken Block spent his weekend in Barbados
Thu, 22 May 2014Regardless of what you think of his skill as a racer, Ken Block is an expert showman. At this point, he has a career of showing up around the world to do vehicular stunts, and he's still able to go racing as well. It's a pretty sweet niche to carve out. Recently, Block was in Barbados to participate in Top Gear Live and the first event of the Global Rallycross Championship season, and Ford Racing produced a short video to show off his exploits.
It looked like a great show. Block got to race Lewis Hamilton in a Mercedes-Benz Formula One car and had a very weird crash during a Rallycross race that put his Ford Fiesta on its roof. Top Gear also released an extended look at Block and Hamilton's spectacle with the two of them expertly sliding around. Scroll down to watch the videos and get a taste of Block's tropical racing adventure.
Car companies used to cook up sales with recipe books
Fri, 08 Aug 2014The evolution of automotive marketing has undergone a number of strange phases. Few, though, match the strangeness of the 1930s to 1950s, when automotive marketers turned to cookbooks as a means of promoting their vehicles. Yes, cookbooks. We can't make this stuff up, folks.
This bizarre trend led to General Motors distributing cookbooks under the guise of its then-subsidiary Frigidaire. Ford, meanwhile, offered a compilation of recipes from Ford Credit Employees (shown above). The cookbook-craze wasn't limited to domestic manufacturers, though. As The Detroit News discovered, both Rolls-Royce and Volkswagen got in on the trend, although not until the 1970s.
The News has the full story on this strange bit of marketing. Head over and take a look.
