77 Ford Bronco Automatic on 2040-cars
Mesa, Arizona, United States
1977 Automatic 4WD Ford Bronco for sale! This Bronco had a major restoration done in 2008, the year before i bought it. He dropped in a 5.0, put in front power disk brake kit, diamond plate gas tank box, carpets, headliner, paint, wheels, hood scoop, and lift. Since I've had it I've done a transmission rebuild, put on some new tires, drove it about 3000 miles, and looked at it lovingly sitting in my garage.
Bronco has good power, sounds nice and throaty, and drives like a Bronco should. Tends to wander around in the lane at slow speeds, but so did both of my other Broncos. Have bimini top and hard top, both in good condition. Hard top came off the day after i got it, but it goes with the truck. It looks good, even up close, but it's not perfect. There are little rust spots in the usual places. Nothing really visible, but if you start looking underneath, like in the rear wheel well, and there is some slight bubbling of the paint on the tailgate. The left turn signal doesn't shut off automatically, so i sometimes drive for miles with the blinker on. The fill pipe on the rear tank is not sealed perfectly, so after I fill the rear tank up completely, I lose a little gas when I gun it off the line. Parking brake is not hooked up. |

Ford Focus was best-selling nameplate in 2012
Tue, 09 Apr 2013Last August, Ford made a few waves by claiming that the Ford Focus was, at that point, the top-selling car in the world. The automaker failed to account for variations of the Toyota Corolla wearing a different name (such as the Auris and Matrix), however. With official data from Polk coming in now, Ford is able to say that the Focus was, in fact, the best-selling nameplate in the world last year.
Using new-car registrations (which doesn't factor in fleet sales), the Polk data shows that a total of more than one million Focus models around the world. Strong sales in the US and China have led to a 16 percent increase in year-over-year Focus sales from 2011 that helped to create even more of a gap between it and the second-best global seller, the Corolla.
Ford also had the Fiesta and F-Series listed in the top 10 for worldwide nameplates, but what's even more impressive is the fact that the F-Series is only sold in North America. Scroll down to see the list (compiled by Ford using Polk data) of the top global sellers last year and a press release from Ford.
2015 Roush Mustang lineup officially revealed
Thu, 02 Oct 2014
Just last week, Saleen revealed initial details of its tuning program for the new Ford Mustang. And now Roush is following suit.
Available in three stages - based on the V6 (RS), EcoBoost (RS1) and V8 (RS2) models - the 2015 Roush Mustangs all feature the venerable Ford tuner's latest R7 aero kit complete with remodeled fascia, five-blade grille, gaping air dam with integrated driving lamps and splitter. Around back there's a one-piece deck spoiler and "race-inspired lower aero-valance."
Here's the new face of the Ford Ranger
Thu, Nov 27 2014Ford Asia Pacific has put a teaser video on YouTube showing off details on the 2015 Ranger pickup, and at the end we get a quick glimpse of the whole truck. This is the T6 Ranger that we still don't get in North America, but that shares its underpinnings with the Everest SUV recently introduced at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum. The Ranger gets a chunkier front end than the Everest, identified by its grille with three floating slats, reminiscent of designs on the previous F-150, and a less-stylized lower front bumper. Ford says it will be smarter, safer, smoother and stronger, but we'll have to wait for its reveal to find out what that means. Meanwhile, you can admire its new looks in the video below.
