For sale is my 1996 Ford Bronco with only 81,000 original miles. I love this truck so much but I can't afford to keep it. It is my toy that I only drive on the weekends. I have just been babying it but its off road ready. It has a 6 inch rough country lift sitting on 35 inch tires and 15 inch wheels. Also has A/C, 4.56 gears, flowmaster exhaust, k&n air filter, msd ignition, beefed up steering, hedman headers(not CA legal, but i have had no problems getting truck smogged with them on in CA), after market radius arms, transmission intercooler, manual warn locking hubs, Memphis audio stereo system, front and rear posi traction, viper alarm, edelbrock performer intake manifold, transmission performance selector kit( choose between stock, street, or off road performance). All of the carpet was removed and replaced with linex truck bed liner.New front brakes and roters.Mechanic said the rear brakes look brand new. Just recently smogged and tagged last May(California).New EGR valve and idle air control valve. There is a couple small scratches in the paint and a small dent in one wheel(see pics). Tires have a lot of tread left. One tire is brand new. Truck runs great and sounds awesome with the headers and flowmaster. The rear window works with the key but the in dash switch does not. The truck is rust free except for the the metal piece on the rear bumper(see pic). I had the same problem on my 91 f-150. The paint and chrome are in really good condition. Its just a all around great truck. I am so sad that I must sell it but it needs a new home.

2015 Ford S-Max adds all-wheel drive, adaptive steering
Fri, 03 Oct 2014The Blue Oval's 'One Ford' mantra has seen rapid commonization of the automaker's products across markets, but North America still has to look from afar at most of the company's Max-branded people movers, including this new S-Max. That's a bit of a shame - we like the space efficiency and above-average driving dynamics of the C-Max models we do get, but seeing this updated seven-seat small minivan makes us want the One Ford initiative to extend even further.
The new model's changes include an updated powertrain range including a 1.5-liter EcoBoost four with 158 horsepower, and a larger, 237-horsepower, 2.0-liter model, along with a pair of revised lower-emissions 2.0-liter diesels. The big news, however, is the advent of available all-wheel drive, something that hasn't been offered since the S-Max first went on sale back in 2006.
On the technology front, the S-Max is the first European model to receive Ford Adaptive Steering, a variable-ratio technology we recently sampled in a prototype Fusion that is expected to go into production on the next-generation Edge. The S-Max also receives a new aluminum-intensive integral link rear suspension, packaged to continue to fit up to 32 different seating combinations. Safety equipment is always a prime concern in kinschleppers like the S-Max, and to that end, this new model receives pre-collision assist technology and LED headlamps.
Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 has a bit of a dyno issue
Tue, 28 May 2013We're of the mind that each and every dyno should come with Murphy's Law painted in big, visible letters down the side. For every ten successful dyno runs out there, it seems there's one where events to horribly wrong. Take, for example, the video below. The clip shows what happens when a Ford Shelby GT500 and a mobile dyno have a bit of a disagreement at the Performance Expo 24 in Sherbrooke, Quebec. We won't spoil the results for you, but we will say there's some substantial carnage involved.
It's unclear just how much damage ensues from the dust up or whether anyone was harmed in the incident, but from the looks of things, everyone made it out without serious injury. If only we could say the same for the machines involved. Check out the video below.
Ford Explorer is America's new favorite police car
Mon, 24 Mar 2014There is a new vehicle that you should keep an eye out for when you're going a little too fast down the Interstate. Ford's Explorer-based Police Interceptor Utility was the bestselling new law enforcement model in the country last year, and signs show that won't be changing anytime soon.
Ford sold 14,086 Interceptor Utilities in 2013, up 140% from the year before, and 10,897 Interceptor Sedans, up 31%, according to USA Today. Overall, the brand's police sales were up 48 percent, and they were enough to boost the company's law enforcement vehicle market share by 9 points to nearly 50 percent.
The success comes just a few years after it made the decision to finally retire the long-serving Crown Victoria-based cruiser for two more modern vehicles. "We had to reinvent the category," said Chris Terry of Ford Communications to Autoblog. The automaker had to convince police departments that a unibody chassis without a V8 could perform better than a model that had been a law enforcement staple for years.
