1996 Ford Bronco Exceptional Example Of Last Year Made Bronco 4x4 on 2040-cars
French Camp, California, United States
Truck is almost like a near new truck and has been owned by mature owners in 2 families since new. It is
factory painted in the very rare Pacific Green Metallic with Oxford White center and removable rear roof (never
removed). Color combination is very rare and according to the Marti Report which uses the original Ford Records,
this is one of only 231 built in this color combination. I have the further statistics breakdown on order in which
I am pretty sure with these options, this is a 1 of 1 built just like it!!. It is a beautiful and very rare color,
which has almost a teal blue hue in certain light!! Truck runs and drives like a brand new truck. Anything that
was ever needed was always done right away and it has been maintained with an open wallet since new. Nothing rubs,
leaks, or vibrates, and it is tuned to perfection with no lag or flat spots. The 5.8 L 351W engine is the one to
get on these Bronco's as the 5.0 V8 and the 6 cylinder just did not have the power and torque that the 5.8 does.
All factory Ford electronics function as intended. Everything is completely sorted on this truck so you don't have
to do a thing. $3500 in preventative maintenance services done in the last 2000 miles to make this truck ready for
anything, anytime. This included all synthetic fluids from front to back, all filters, hoses, thermostat, radiator,
A/C compressor, all new A/C seals, engine mounts, brake calipers, wheel cylinders, pads, rotors, tires, and
alignment. Nothing leaks or seeps. Hop in and drive this anywhere!

Chris Harris checks out Ken Block's Hoonicorn '65 Mustang
Thu, Dec 4 2014Ken Block's Hoonicorn, which stars in Gymkhana Seven, might still bear a passing resemblance to a vintage 1965 Ford Mustang, but underneath the skin, the car is one of the baddest custom machines to ever do a smoky burnout on the road. The ever enthusiastic British auto journalist Chris Harris is now showing what really makes Block's new ride tick on video, and Harris even gets to go for quite a ride. The only Mustang components really left on the Hoonicorn are the A-pillar, B-pillar and roof, according to Harris. Everything else is ditched to create Block's ultimate Gymkhana tool. The 845-horsepower, 6.7-liter Rousch Yates V8 sits behind the front axle, and the grunt is routed to all four wheels through a Sadev gearbox usually found on Dakar Rally vehicles. The whole drivetrain is packed with cool little touches; like that giant handbrake that also disconnects power from the front wheels when in use. The superlatives about the Hoonicorn could go on forever, but settle in and let a very excited Harris tell you about just some of them. He's like a kid in a candy store here, and the look that combines surprise, fear and joy during his ride with Block is the kind that lacks a suitable word in the English language.
Mulally confirms he's not leaving Ford for Microsoft
Tue, 07 Jan 2014In recent months, rumors had been flying about Ford CEO Alan Mulally potentially leaving the company to take a position at Microsoft. Last we heard, Mulally was planning to stick around at Ford through at least 2014, and in an interview today, that bit was confirmed by the CEO himself.
According to the Associated Press, in a report from The Detroit News, Mulally said he will not be leaving Ford for Microsoft, and reiterated that he will remain at the Blue Oval through 2014, if not longer. Mulally has "no plans other than to serve Ford," according to the report.
Mulally did not say whether or not he had been in talks with Microsoft at any point. Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer has said he plans to leave the software company sometime this year.
Chinese market Ford Taurus will be unveiled at Shanghai Motor Show
Fri, Apr 10 2015A new Ford Taurus is on the way, at least for some markets. As part of a huge unveiling of seven models for the Asia Pacific market at the Shanghai Motor Show, Ford is announcing the debut of the company's next-gen large sedan on April 18 just before the event in China begins. Unfortunately, the Taurus that we see in Shanghai might not signal too much about the future version in the US. Ford spokesperson Monique Brentley tells Autoblog that this debut is specifically for the Chinese market, and the Blue Oval isn't saying whether any of this updated look will come across the Pacific. We got a tiny preview of the new Taurus earlier this year when one was spotted wearing heavy camouflage while testing in China. That one retained the sedan's hexagonal grille but added more horizontal chrome slats. It also featured reshaped headlights and a broad, lower air dam. Previous reports have indicated the next-gen model might be built around a stretched and widened version of the Fusion platform, and a major goal during development was shedding as many pounds as possible. With little time before the official unveiling, it won't be long until we'll know much of this for sure.
