1994 Ford Bronco Eddie Bauer 5.8 V8

*** PRISTINE CONDITION!!***

***Only 43,969 Actual Miles!***

100% Original Paint and Rust Free!

Purchased from its ORIGINAL OWNER!

Absolutely one of the BEST!!!

Equipped with Leather and Factory Tow Package

Here is an absolutely amazing Eddie Bauer that has been kept in a heated garage since new and never driven in inclement weather! It is in ‘like new’ condition! The factory Electric Currant Red Metallic paint looks like glass! (it may have a ding and a few chips in the paint if you can find them.) This truck is arrow straight! I did NOT have this truck detailed! This is exactly how I purchased it from the Original Owner! All the original glass including the windshield is in amazing shape. The chrome and weather-stripping all look brand new! The factory wheels look perfect, with no pitting whatsoever and are outfitted with like-new Goodyear SR-A’s! The factory painted dual pinstripes are as new! Also, the factory owner’s manual is in perfect condition.

The powerful 5.8 liter V8 runs fantastic and all accessories function properly. This is a ‘no excuses’ truck! It comes with the original floor mats, tire cover, cargo cover and netting. Nothing has been changed from stock except dealer applied undercoating. Nothing has ever been placed atop the cargo carpet except cardboard and then on top of that, a Husky liner. It is as NEW a Bronco as you will find! Please note that the fiberglass running boards were not available until the 1995 model year, thus they were not available on this 1994 Bronco. This is exactly the way this Bronco left the factory!

Don’t hesitate on this one! If you cannot come by and drive it, I am willing to bring this Bronco to any local Ford Dealer or mechanic and have it inspected for you, at your cost. This auction may end at any time.

The value of these Eddie Bauers keep increasing. For example, check out eBay item number: 301289199315 a year newer, not as immaculate as mine, with almost DOUBLE the miles, SOLD for $20,050. And a totally original, low mileage survivor such as mine will certainly retain its value much better than all other Broncos for sale today!

2014 Ford Fiesta 1.0L EcoBoost

Fri, 09 May 2014

I'll be honest; when Ford first unveiled its 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6, I was skeptical. Past attempts at building turbocharged American cars were almost universally awful, I reasoned, so why would Ford's latest effort be any different? This may seem foolish today, considering the success that the growing EcoBoost range has achieved - particularly the 2.0-liter and 1.6-liter mills. Yet I once again found myself questioning Ford.
It's the makeup of the 1.0-liter, turbocharged three-cylinder slotted into the compact engine bay of this Fiesta that has a way of breeding doubt. Three-cylinder engines remain an extreme rarity in the US. What's more, they earned a less-than-desirable reputation for applications in the 1980s and 1990s, and my trepidation about this latest three-pot as a result.
As I found out, though, history is a poor informant of modern technology. The thrust available in other cars with the EcoBoost badge on the back has not gone missing here; something the International Engine of the Year committee has lauded. That august body named the 1.0-liter Ecoboost the best engine of 2012 and 2013. After a week of driving, it didn't take long for my fear of threes to get turned into something like that line of thinking.

'84 MotorWeek Cherokee, Bronco and Blazer comparison indulges your SUV nostalgia

Fri, Jan 16 2015

These days, truck-based, full-frame SUVs are somewhat of a rarity on the auto landscape due to the rapid rise in popularity of easier-driving, car-based crossovers. Although, without the gradually building popularity of these chunky, high-riding vehicles decades ago, it's unlikely that America's roads would be filled with so many CUVs today. In its latest dig into the archives, MotorWeek has found a 1984 comparison test of a trio of these early Sport Utility Wagons, as long-time host John Davis called them, that helped get acceptance of this segment going. This is a red, white and blue test of the SUVs from American automakers at the time and pits the Chevrolet Blazer, Ford Bronco and Jeep Cherokee (specifically in Wagoneer guise) against each other. Driving manners and interior usability are considered in the evaluation, but Motorweek actually takes these vehicles off road, too. Among the bigger revelations is the improvement in on-road ability in the past 30 years. While specific 0-60 times aren't given, all three models take around 10 seconds just to get to around 50 miles per hour in the 500-feet on-ramp acceleration test. Check out this clip to see just how far this segment has progressed in the past three decades or just get a blast of nostalgia from these now vintage models. Ford Edge Concept previews new look, can park itself remotely

Wed, 20 Nov 2013

It turns out the image we saw back in February did, in fact, reveal the next-generation Ford Edge - at least in concept form. We still have to wait to see what the design will look like in production guise, but until then, Ford is giving us a good idea thanks to the Edge Concept being introduced at the LA Auto Show.
The new styling is an evolution of the current crossover's face with narrow headlights and a prominently slatted grille, while the rest of the design adds a more dynamic appearance with interesting body creases and horizontal taillights. We haven't gotten a look inside the Edge Concept just yet, but Ford is promising a suite of advanced driver-assist technologies including a new self-park system that allows activation from inside or outside the vehicle along with obstacle avoidance and an adaptive electric power steering system.
Ford will continue to offer an EcoBoost engine option in the upcoming Edge, and it will get active grille shutters to help maximize fuel efficiency. No word yet on when we'll be seeing the next-gen Edge in production form, but as we reported recently, it will become a global model in markets including Europe, China and South America. Ford's press release is posted below, but we'll have more information and images up later today.
