Excellent condition all original and unmodified. 351W with C6 3 speed automatic transmission.

No rust, original radio (light is burnt out), custom made console, inside mounted spare tire, but also included is the original back gate spare tire rack. Instrument cluster lens is cracked. Everything works except the cruise control and windshield washer spray pump. Doesn't smoke, but does have an oil leak on the back of the intake manifold. Runs great. Previous owner installed a shift kit, which I can't say I like, but is good for heavy trailer towing and does whine. Truck does have the factory tow option with heavy duty front (quad shock set-up), transmission cooler and larger radiator. Newly replaced, repaired, or serviced items in past 18 months = Paint, Master Cylinder, Battery, Alternator, Front Brakes and Bearings Greased, Tune Up (Plugs, Wires, Ignition Coil, Cap & Rotor, O2 Sensor, & Throttle Positioning Sensor), New A/C Compressor. Tires (BFG A/T 33x10.50) have 95% tread-life still in them.

Have clean title in hand.

Only reason for sale is that I've come across an even more classic vehicle that I simply can't pass up and need the funds.

Ford looks to space robots to improve car-to-car communications [w/video]

Ford has partnered with St. Petersburg Polytechnic University for three years to research various kinds of connected vehicle communications. The university tie-up is part of its study of space robots, NASA systems created to enable space-to-Earth communication, and the university's own development of systems that enable communication between the International Space State and Earth.
The objective is for Ford to engineer layers of robust networks and redundancy systems that will allow your car to speak to other cars, to emergency vehicles, to infrastructure like traffic lights and buildings, and to the cloud. Benefits would come in just about every area of transit, from avoiding accidents, to getting medical workers to an accident more quickly, to improving the flow of traffic during rush hour.

Toyota, Ford and Honda again top Consumer Reports Car-Brand Perception Survey

Consumer Reports has released its annual Car-Brand Perception Survey, and the list looks awfully familiar. The top six brands are identical to last year's results, with Toyota, Ford and Honda continuing to occupy the podium. All told, Toyota walked away with 133 points, putting it 15 ahead of second-place Ford. Honda jumped 26 points this year, narrowing Ford's lead to just four points in total.
Consumer Reports polls buyers from across the country on how they see multiple brands in seven categories, including quality, safety, value, performance, design/style, technology/innovation and environmentally friendly/green. Researchers then combine the findings to come up with the total brand score.
While value and performance remain important to buyers, CR found quality and safety are still on top when it comes to significance. Scion and Mitsubishi found themselves at the bottom of the pack with the worst score of all, tied at just six points. Ram, Fiat and Mini filled out the lowest five with scores of seven, eight and 10 points, respectively.
