I have a very nice original uncut matching numbers 76 bronco sport, 302 automatic 4x4. This bronco is probably the nicest original uncut bronco you will find that hasn't been restored. It is showing 51k miles, It has had some interior restored ( seats, door panels, rear panels, and headliner. Interior looks amazing ,if you are wanting it perfect, the exterior could use a paint job and has a couple small dings, but is original paint. Since 1979 it has been kept out of the weather and not had the top off of it in a very long time, I'm the 3rd owner of this vehicle and have a copy of the original title where it was sold in North Carolina. I have had a new ring and pinion installed(7-1-13), replaced master cylinder(8-27-12), replaced shocks, steering stabilizer, ball joints, and bushings(7-21-12) along with lots of other things inside and out. I have all paper work on what has been done, also have from ford where they ran the vin and sent me the paper work on what all came on this vehicle from factory. Paper work pictures available. This bronco drives and runs like a new vehicle, everything on the bronco works. It still has the original factory am radio in it, the original jack under the hood, hubcaps are the original that came on bronco. It has dual tanks and both work along with all guages. Ford and Chrysler reducing summer plant shutdowns
Wed, 22 May 2013Most domestic automaker assembly plants traditionally take a couple of weeks off during the summer. The shutdowns give each plant time for much needed repairs and maintenance, and in some cases, help better align production with demand. Not this year, though, as demand for many models is outstripping what Ford, Chrysler and General Motors plants can produce.
Ford has announced that it will shorten its annual summer shutdown for most North American plants from two weeks to one. The shorter shutdown will increase the carmaker's annual North American production by 40,000 units on top of the 200,000 extra units that it was already planning to produce this year versus last. Automotive News reports that Ford produced 2.8 million vehicles on this continent in 2012, and that output this year has already increased 13 percent through April.
Chrysler, meanwhile, is also operating at full tilt and plans to run some plants through the summer with no shutdown at all. Those not getting a break include Jefferson North where the Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durango are assembled, Toledo North that will assemble the new Cherokee, and Conner Avenue, home of SRT Viper production. Other assembly plants will be down for a single week, while all of Chrysler's engine and transmission plants except one in Indiana will continue operating with no shutdown this summer.
Mulally confirms he's not leaving Ford for Microsoft
Tue, 07 Jan 2014In recent months, rumors had been flying about Ford CEO Alan Mulally potentially leaving the company to take a position at Microsoft. Last we heard, Mulally was planning to stick around at Ford through at least 2014, and in an interview today, that bit was confirmed by the CEO himself.
According to the Associated Press, in a report from The Detroit News, Mulally said he will not be leaving Ford for Microsoft, and reiterated that he will remain at the Blue Oval through 2014, if not longer. Mulally has "no plans other than to serve Ford," according to the report.
Mulally did not say whether or not he had been in talks with Microsoft at any point. Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer has said he plans to leave the software company sometime this year.
Fiat boss Elkann being mentored by... Bill Ford?

While speaking during an interview with The Detroit News, Elkann said he often asks Bill Ford Jr. for advice on how to proceed with the turnaround at Chrysler. "It's great to have the opportunity to share this with someone like Bill, who has experienced many things and gone through many things ... especially linked to Detroit." Elkann said.
As the Agnelli family heir, Elkann has inherited a long and fruitful friendship with the Ford family. While Giovanni Agnelli built his first Fiat four years before Henry Ford created his first vehicle, it was Ford that showed Agnelli the benefits of mass production and helped pave the way for what would become the Fiat empire.
Giovanni's grandson, Gianni, helped mentor Bill Ford when he was elected chairman of Ford Motor Company. Now, Ford is returning the favor by helping Elkann navigate the automotive industry's tumultuous waters.
