Here is another great early model 1973 Ford Bronco brought to you by Velocity Restorations. We bought this rust free super solid Bronco out of South Carolina. This Bronco was sanded down and primed with high build primer. Then PPG Bahama Blue basecoat was applied. After the basecoat we used Matrix high solids clear for the best possible gloss clear coat protection you can get. This truck was wet sanded with 1500,2000, and 2500 and shines like a mirror. As for the undercarriage we sanded down the frame and axles and applied a satin black frame paint for years of protection. The under body was sanded and we applied raptor undercoating for protection and sound resistance. All bushings, brakes, u-joints, brake lines, seals were checked. If they showed any signs of wear and tear we replaced them. A new 2.5" suspension lift was installed with new shocks and steering stabilizer 3 months ago. 5 new BF Goodrich 33/11.50/16 with new aluminum wheels were also installed 3 months ago with the lift. The engine compartment has been upgraded with a chrome master cylinder and brake booster, new Edelbrock intake, 4 barrel carburetor, aluminum Bronco valve covers, and a new A/C system installed. the 302 V8 motor and 3 speed transmission run and shift great with no problems at all. Interior of truck has been underlined with Raptor also, floorpans have been replaced with OE style floorpans at some point in the past, but looks professionally installed. Original seats, rear quarter panel covers, and door panels were kept to maintain the original appearance. A nice CD and stereo system has been added with a nice rollbar. A 3 speed floor shift setup was added and shifts properly. Notice this Bronco was equipped with the upgraded chrome package from the factory. All gauges, fuel tanks, and electrical equipment work properly This is a great running super solid rust free Bronco. If you have been in the market for an early Bronco with all the options and A/C this is the one for you. Our shop name is Velocity Restorations. We have completed 18 Bronco Restorations this year. Check my feedback and realize you will be getting a great truck from a company that stands behind there work. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions. This truck is priced fairly and most of our trucks sell before the auction ends. Bronco is sold as-is where-is with no warranty implied.

Ford opens the doors on its Swedish rally skunkworks
Fri, 19 Sep 2014It's always amazing to see how different kinds of racecars are made. Formula One racers are often constructed in modern architectural marvels that hint at some of the cutting-edge technology going into the racing. Conversely, rallying is all about sliding around on a varied course as fast as possible, but it often leaves a vehicle caked in mud. So it makes some sense Olsbergs MSE, or simply (OMSE) rally car shop in Nynashamn, Sweden, shows technological sophistication in a more down-to-earth setting. It builds Ford Fiesta ST racers for Global Rallycross there, and this new video gives viewers a tour through the work.
Former rally driver Andreas Eriksson runs OMSE. These days instead of racing, he and the company's 46 employees are building Ford racers from scratch. A ton of work goes into constructing each one, and according to Eriksson, it takes 400 hours to complete each body. At times, things are so busy that some of the technicians live in the shop in apartments that are on premises. There's even a restaurant to keep them fed. Sadly the dyno room is empty during this visit, though.
By the time OMSE is done, a rallycross car might resemble a Fiesta ST on the outside, but as you see in the video, it's a completely different beast underneath. Check out the work it takes to build one of them, and scroll down to read more about it in the official release.

2014 Ford Fiesta ST priced from $21,400* [w/poll]
Tue, 26 Feb 2013The 2014 model year brings a whole host of changes to Ford's Fiesta B-Segment fighter, the most important of which (to our enthusiast eyes, anyway) is the addition of a potent new ST model. The US-spec hot hatch was first shown at the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show last November, and thanks to Ford's build-and-price site, we've now learned that the Fiesta ST will slide in at $21,400 when it goes on sale later this year (*not including $795 for destination).
Under the hood of the ST is a turbocharged 1.6-liter EcoBoost inline-four good for 197 horsepower and 214 pound-feet of torque, mated solely to a six-speed manual transmission. Ford hasn't released performance data on its pint-sized puncher just yet, but know that these numbers make the Fiesta ST ever-so-slightly more powerful than the larger Volkswagen GTI while returning an estimated 34 miles per gallon on the highway.
Elsewhere in the lineup, the standard Fiesta also gets a smattering of improvements for the 2014 model year, including a new 1.0-liter three-cylinder turbocharged engine and revised exterior styling. Pricing for the 2014 Fiesta sedan starts at $14,000, with the five-door model adding $600 to that number (again excluding the $795 destination fee).
