This is an original uncut and unmolested 1971 Bronco. It has only 92000 miles and has been a one owner vehicle here in Utah. It is in great shape for the age. Always cared for and parked in a garage. It has some normal wear and tear for a 43 year old truck. It was purchased from a local dealer with a dealer installed roll bar and air conditioning. Everything is original: 302 V8 engine, 3 speed on the column transmission, transfer case, wheels, hubcaps, seats and paint. It has some rust, mostly surface rust underneath from driving. The bottom of the tailgate, inner fender skirts and gas tank cover plates have rust as well. The drivetrain is all original and it has not been abused or modified. The engine runs great. The clutch just went out and so that will need to be replaced. All electrical works fine and all lights work. Original uncracked steering wheel and horn. All the glass is original and in perfect condition. All chrome trim is original as well and in good condition.
You will not find a better original Bronco to drive as is daily or be a great candidate for a restoration. It was never abused and used to go camping and fishing over the years. |

Ford's official Euro aftermarket partner Mountune coming to US
Tue, 06 Aug 2013Now that we're getting a steady stream of Ford's European offerings, the aftermarket world is finally starting to catch up as well. UK-based aftermarket tuning company, Mountune has just announced that it will be setting up shop in California to provide high-performance and racing parts for Ford vehicles including the Focus ST and Fiesta ST.
Mountune lays claim to being Ford's "official European tuning partner," and US buyers will soon have access to these parts through Ford dealerships and with a Ford Racing warranty. Speaking of Ford Racing, Mountune also says that it will be working with Ford's in-house team to develop future components for both street and track. There are no specifics as of yet for which products will be offered here, but the company plans to launch a US-specific website later this month with more information.
Ford to auction Mustang Cobra Jet prototype for charity [w/video]
Mon, 16 Sep 2013Prototypes developed by major automakers typically remain in said company's custody, but every once in a while, one trickles out into private hands. And that's just what we have here. Ford is donating a one-of-a-kind factory prototype for the 2014 Mustang Cobra Jet that will be auctioned off later this month by Barrett-Jackson in Las Vegas to benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Powered by a 5.0-liter supercharged V8 mated to a T4 competition gearbox, this rare Cobra Jet prototype includes a wheelie bar, chromoly roll cage, Weld wheels, three-link rear suspension, racing brakes, 9-inch rear axle and more. It's painted in a unique satin orange with reflective gray striping scheme, bears the serial number 2014 BJMS CJXX1 and is fully ready for NHRA competition on the drag strip.
To be offered with no reserve on Saturday, September 28, 2013, the Cobra Jet prototype's winning bidder will also receive tutelage at Roy Hill's Drag Racing School in Sophia, NC, along with tours of the Ford Product Development Center, Ford Racing headquarters and Ford Design Studios with Mustang chief engineer Dave Pericak.
