1971 Ford Bronco Lime Green Monster on 2040-cars
Montgomery, Texas, United States
Professionally built by a company in Michigan. 1971 Ford Bronco on frame restoration, built from the ground up. Every item on this vehicle is either new or has been rebuilt. Of the original vehicle, I kept the frame and tub. I replaced the front quarter panels and put a fiberglass hood on. The frame has been painted and the interior is bedlined. There is a 5.5 inch suspension lift with a 3 inch body lift with 37x14 inch Irok radials on 15x10 American Eagle 589 rims with 1.5" spacers. I put a dana 44 up front with a Ford 9 inch in the rear, open diff 456:1 gears. The engine has been overhauled and this truck fires up every time, regardless of the weather. I put in an A/C and heater (the heater works great, the A/C doesn't really cool you off on an August day in Texas). Power steering, power brakes with four wheel discs. Corbeau racing buckets front and rear, full roll cage, and an impressive stereo system. Kenwood head unit with blue tooth handsfree for your phone, marine tower speakers on swivels in case you want to turn them around and have a tailgate party. JL 10' W3 subs. Everything on the stereo is waterproof with the exception of the head unit. This truck is a beautiful Bronco and turns heads everywhere I go. I am just selling it to purchase some different toys. This truck drives very well, and I occasionally go on the highway, though it prefers to run at 60 mph. Please text me if you have additional questions

Ken Block walks you through his new 'Hoonigan Racing' HQ
Tue, 24 Jun 2014Ken Block seems like one hell of a nice guy. I ran into him at CES this past January, and he dropped the video games he was playing to chat with me for a while. His crew also recently gave our Steve Ewing a tour of the offices you're about to see on this video. Good guy to know.
As it turns out, they're some fairly cool new digs. Dubbed 'Hoonigan Racing Division HQ,' the office is open to Ford Focus ST and Fiesta ST owners who attend the driving program offered out at Miller Motorsports Park. The very same program that Ewing reported on just recently.
Or, if you've no plans to buy an ST or travel to Utah any time soon, you can let Block show you around himself in this MTV Cribs-style video. With interior decorating that relies heavily on shipping containers and luxurious amenities like a ping pong table, 10 refrigerators and a bear(?), there's no lack of eye-candy in the driverly HQ. (Judging by Block's outfit, you'll probably not go thirsty if you're a Monster drinker, either.) Take the tour along with the Gymkhana master, below.
Toyota fears supplier pressure in Australia with GM pull out
Wed, 11 Dec 2013With Ford and General Motors both announcing an end to production in Australia, the country's auto industry is in a bad way. With the exit of two big players, there's increased concern that a third Australian manufacturer, Toyota, will be forced out, as well.
"We are saddened to learn of GM Holden's decision. This will place unprecedented pressure on the local supplier network and our ability to build cars in Australia," Toyota Australia said in a statement. The GM closure of Holden production will be the direct end to 2,900 jobs, but will also force a dramatic reduction in the size of the country's supplier network, as there will simply be fewer cars to build.
In the same statement, Toyota Australia said it would work with suppliers and local government to figure out whether continuing production Down Under was even feasible. According to Automotive News, a representative for the Australian Manufacturing Workers' Union told reporters it was "highly likely" that Toyota would also close up shop within the next few years.
J Mays on the 2015 Ford Mustang
Thu, 05 Dec 2013J Mays, head of design at Ford, may be retiring from the company after 16 years, but not before showing the world his swan song: the 2015 Mustang. Ford officially revealed its new coupe and convertible to the public at events around the world on Thursday, including a live unveiling on ABC's Good Morning America, and Mays was in attendance at the automaker's home event in Dearborn, MI, which is where we caught up with him for a few words about his new baby.
"It's a joy" to design the Mustang, Mays told Autoblog, adding that this sixth-generation coupe is his "favorite design so far." Of course, the 2015 model takes cues from all of the generations that came before it, but Mays said it was important to edit down the specific elements from previous models, leaving just enough off to let the customer "participate and fill in the blanks."
"If it doesn't sell itself, you probably aren't a Mustang fan."
