Hi and thank for viewing this listing for this nicely restored, classic 1970 Ford Bronco.

This vehicle had a full restoration (both mechanical and cosmetic) about five years ago. The work was done professionally by high quality local professionals and it is still in excellent condition. It has been a garage queen, since the restoration, and only driven on nice summer days. It has been driven approximately 4-5000 miles, since being restored, and the 95,256 miles showing on the original odometer are the original miles. It's been such a garage queen that it's never been driven with the new Bestop cloth top. We put the top on only for the purpose of pictures and it is brand new.

This Bronco is equipped with a 302 V8 and a 3 speed manual transmission. It has a very nicely upgraded James Duff suspension system including a moderate lift, as you can see in the pictures. This vehicle is rock solid and has been restored to its original condition or better.

There's not a lot else to say about this great, classic 4X4 that the pictures don't show. It runs and drives like new or better and is ready for whatever you'd like to do with it.

The vehicle is located in northwest Wisconsin in the Hayward area and we would welcome in-person inspections and test rides, if you are going to be in the area.

We'll also help in any way possible with coordinating shipping via a transport company of the new owner's choice and expense. Please let us know, if you're interested in recommendations, as we have suggestions.

$500 due via Paypal or wire transfer within 48 hours of auction's end and balance required either at delivery or day of shipment via wire transfer, credit card or mutually agreeable funding. We're reasonable and want to make this a great transaction. Please see our positive feedback and bid with confidence.

Please ask all questions prior to bidding or auction's close and we'll respond as quickly as possible.

Good luck!

Ford Transit production fires up, American Pickers among first takers

Wed, 30 Apr 2014

Not long ago, the History Channel showed a seemingly unending stream of World War II documentaries, but it made a switch a few years ago to include an increasing mix of 'reality' programming. American Pickers was one of the early attempts at this new formula, with cameras following hosts Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz around the country in a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter as they tracked down collectibles and "rusty gold" for their Iowa shop, Antique Archeology. The show has since gone on to become one of the channel's most popular programs.
Starting in the new episode airing tonight, the affable hosts will swap their Benz for a 2015 Ford Transit, a nicely timed bit of marketing to coincide with the launch of the model's assembly at the Blue Oval's Kansas City Assembly Plant, which also kicks off this week. Ford is touting 2,000 new jobs created as part of its $1.1-billion investment in the plant.
No strangers to product placement, the guys from American Pickers say their switch away from the Sprinter is because they wanted to balance cargo capacity and fuel economy to make the most of their cross-country jaunts. They opted for the largest Transit available with a long wheelbase, extended body and high roof, giving them 487 cubic feet of cargo room. Hauling power comes from a 3.2-liter, five-cylinder diesel engine with 190 horsepower and 346 pound-feet of torque and a six-speed automatic transmission with rear-wheel drive. Fittingly, the van wears the same Antique Archaeology logo over white paint as their old Sprinter.

Ford pulling out of V8 Supercars after 2015

Tue, Dec 2 2014

Australian racing fans are staring down the end of an era as news breaks that Ford will no longer participate in the V8 Supercars series. Although the official announcement has yet to be made, the decision – as reported widely in the automotive press Down Under and in global motorsport publications – indicates that the Blue Oval automaker has already confirmed its intentions to its shareholders early on Monday to shut down its factory effort in the popular tin-top series at the end of next season. The move will mark the end of an era for what has become the International V8 Supercars Championship. Alongside GM's Holden division, Ford was one of only two manufacturers competing in the series from its inception in the late 1990s through last year when a change in regulations opened the door for entries from Nissan, Volvo and Mercedes. Further rule changes are expected to attract even more manufacturers to the series, with Lexus said to be first among them. Over the past eighteen seasons, the V8 Supercars Championship has been won in a Holden Commodore fourteen times, leaving Ford to win the title only four times with successive versions of the Falcon. Eleven of the cars on the grid this season were Commodores, compared to only seven Ford Falcons between two teams that will need to switch to another manufacturer for the season after next – although some could opt to stick with their Fords for one more season, even without factory support, until the open 2016 regulations take effect. The decision follows Ford's announcement last year that it will cease manufacturing in Australia by 2016, ending a 90-year presence Down Under that stretches back to 1925. Blue Oval models like the Falcon, previously unique to the Aussie market, are being replaced by imported models like the Mondeo and Mustang.

2015 Ford Mustang production starts in Flat Rock

Thu, 28 Aug 2014

Today's the day, Ford fans. Production has officially commenced on the sixth-generation 2015 Mustang at the company's Flat Rock, MI factory. As production ramps up, sales should kick off in the coming months.
The production news isn't just a bit deal for American fans. With the new Mustang getting a bespoke right-hand-drive variant, the pony car's worldwide availability has swollen to include 120 different countries, including its home nation.
"Mustang is and will continue to be an automotive icon," Joe Hinrichs, Ford's president of the Americas, said in a statement. "Expanding its availability globally affords our customers around the world the opportunity to have a true firsthand Mustang experience - one unlike any other."
