This has been my pride and joy for over the past 5 years. Blood, sweat, and tears have gone into it making it a reliable blast, so consider this an adoption fee and not a sale price.
302 rebuilt last November 2012 (all the machine work done by Womack Heads and Block locally), Modifications beyond the basic rebuild include;
600 CFM Edelbrock carb, Performer intake, GT40 heads, MSD ignition, distributor, and wires, speed pro pistons, Wildhorses 3G alternator, hooker headers, Flowmaster dual exhaust. M50D R-2 5 Speed w/ overdrive manual transmisson installed with BC Bronco's conversion kit, Advanced Adapter Trans to Tcase, Hydraulic LUK clutch, JB Fab Twin Stick. Tcase shifter, new flywheel. Tom Woods rear drive shaft. BC Bronco Power Steering designed from 3/4 ton chevy truck. must stronger than stock system.
Replaced accelerator linkage with BC throttle cable for smoother pedal.
4.56 gears, with detroit rear locker.
4340 ChroMo front axles.
F150 Front Disk Brakes.
Poly gas tank. Painless 23 circuit wiring harness, weatherproof connectors, high temp wire loom in the engine bay, high amp one wire alt setup, tach, extra aux wires ready for any additions you may want. Paint was done in 2009 and is House of Kolors Mean Green and raptor bedliner for the interior, glove box has been relocated to work with cage and the holes for the top have been welded in to give the bed rails a cleaner look. Its a high quality spray and looks better in person IMO; however has a few nicks and scratches from enjoying it. Wildhorses 6 point cage with all connections and bolt holes welded up and smoothed out, and Wildhorses shoulder seat belts.
Bestop bikini top,
Procar bucket seats,
Tuffy Console,
Gorilla war flares and full rap around door inserts,
Wild horses hood with hood shocks to replace old hood prop and polyurathene hood pins,
engine bay storage box,
Rock Blocker front bumper with Smittybilt winch never used... 35 TSL Radials and Procomp Wheels. Have a new spare too. Numerous other extras that I'm scared to add up! Gas gauge does not work, but as tank has new sending unit so a new gauge is all that is needed.
Has a few rust bubbles at the bottom of the tailgate but has been there for 4 years and hasn't spread or broke through the paint. Also has a hole on the driver rocker. Its not a structural issue but should be pointed out and addressed at some point. It doesn't come with a hard top or doors, but it wouldnt be hard to add them. I have a few sets of doors and can get my hands on a top if you would like but they are not included so please contact me to work out agreement. Let me know if you have any questions or want more pictures. It is really a great looking, fun, reliable driver, but keep in mind that it is 43 years young. Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns before bidding. Thanks for looking! |

A hybrid and electric Corvette, plus we drive the Ioniq 5 | Autoblog Podcast #728
Fri, May 6 2022In this episode of the Autoblog Podcast, Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore is joined by Road Test Editor Zac Palmer. Zac drove the electric 2022 Hyundai Ioniq 5, and Greg drove the fire-breathing 2022 Maserati Levante Trofeo. The two dive deep into the relatively heavy news week by starting off with a discussion about the upcoming hybrid Corvette before chatting about what the electric Corvette might be like. They have a chat about the possibility of Porsche and Audi officially joining the Formula 1 field. Then, Greg and Zac get into some quick-hitting news to round out the segment by dissecting the updated Kia Soul (now without a turbo), the 30th Anniversary Edition Land Rover Defender and the new CEO at Aston Martin. Following the news and drive reviews, they rope in Senior Editor, Green John Beltz Snyder to give them a quick download of what went down at the first drive for the 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning. Finally, they reach into the mailbag and answer some questions from someone who is less than pleased about infotainment systems in some new cars. And lastly, the gang hears back from someone they helped out in a prior Spend My Money segment on the podcast. Send us your questions for the Mailbag and Spend My Money at: Podcast@Autoblog.com.
