This is a great daily driver bronco. This bronco is solid with no signs of rust anywhere. The frame and the floors are outstanding with no surface rust . The story from the previous owner was that it was from the dealer in Thousand Oaks Ca and worked its way to Arizona and then back to SoCal. We had intentions of doing a complete frame off rebuilt because of the condition of the frame and body, but recent issues has forced sale. It has recently had lots of maintenance performed. Starting with the steering column was professionally rebuilt. Also all four corners have had a complete brake rebuild. The 289 fires right up and runs strong. The clutch and the transmission shifts smoothly. The overall condition of this truck is solid with the normal wear and tear of a vehicle of its age. There is a leak on the differential that is slow. under the hood and the underside is clean. The paint is base clear and has imperfections and shows some age but still shows well. i have pointed out the places with the most wear. All the original gauges work. The only thing that does not work is the vacuum wipers which i think is pretty common. It has a small 3 inch superlift kit and 33x12.50 mickey thompsons with lots of wear left. any questions feel free to contact me.

you can see the previous sprayed primer on corners behind the rear bumper. there is not rust there . I think he was just trying to protect the metal where the paint chipped.

1964 Ford GT40 prototype sells for $7M
Mon, 14 Apr 2014Seven-figure Ferraris are not horribly rare. Heck, an eight-figure Ferrari isn't a rare occurrence. Between modern masterpieces like the Enzo and more classic offerings, cracking the million-dollar mark isn't a particularly tall order for the cars from Maranello. For a Ford, though, it's a big deal.
Now, this is not just some rare Mustang. This is a GT40, the car that Henry Ford II commissioned to whip Enzo Ferrari around a track in France. As far as the Le Mans-winning racers go, they don't get much rarer than this one. Sold at the Mecum Auctions in Houston, this is one of the prototypes, meaning it's one of the very first GT40s ever built. That makes its $7 million winning a bid, a record for on-air coverage of the auction, a pretty darn impressive figure.

Ford tops mid-year ranking of brands in the US
Thu, 18 Jul 2013YouGov's mid-year Brand Index rankings of America's best perceived brands has been released, and Ford has found its way to the top. The Dearborn, Michigan based manufacturer beat out online shopping giant Amazon, The History Channel, and home improvement superstore Lowe's, to take the top spot.
Ford jumped from sixth overall in 2012 to first for 2013, but those that have been watching these rankings shouldn't be hugely surprised. Ford was rated the best perceived automotive manufacturer by the same organization last year. The Blue Oval's success on the overall brand rankings is made all the more impressive by the complete lack of other automakers on the list.
YouGov (that is, survey respondents) cited Ford's first quarter of 2013 business, which saw an increase in market share and the best earnings recorded in over 10 years. Successfully launching the Focus and Fusion (pictured) and keeping them fresh in the minds of consumers has also contributed to Ford's best overall score.
Ford's struggles in China continue as November sales drop 8 percent
Mon, Dec 11 2017Ford's sales in China fell 8 percent in November from a year ago, following a 5 percent decline in October, the U.S. automaker said on Monday. The firm's sales in the first 11 months of the year totaled 1.06 million vehicles, down 6 percent from the same period a year ago. Ford's China sales growth has lagged behind rivals in the world's top auto market this year, with the carmaker now looking to overhaul its strategy to revive growth in China under new chief executive Jim Hackett. Among other moves, the review of its China operations will likely see Ford focus on segments such as electric cars and electric commercial vans, with China encouraging to help clean up its polluted and congested city centers. Ford is looking to roll out more new-energy vehicles for China and is planning to experiment with a more direct selling approach in a partnership with Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba Group Holding Ltd.
