It runs perfect we also installed new aluminum 4 row radiator we since added a c4 transmission that we had rebuilt we added power steering with new borgeson style u joints on the steering column it needs new drag and steering link we planned on upgrading the Dana 30 with a 44 and never did this so the Dana 30 has no third member or gears we planned on swapping the whole setup and beefing up steering at this time we did install a set of disc brakes that can easily be swapped to a Dana 44 the Rearend is ford 9 inch with what we believe to be 3.50 but not sure we were also gonna go through the whole unit but never got around to do so a lot of hard parts and work has been done and I think asking price is fair market we have spent a lot of money on the bronco and financial reasons force to sell the bronco has 500.00 or so in dmv back fees and title was lost by previous owner  we have all necessary dmv docs to transfer title but fees must be paid first we can help get this done and can cover some of the fees depending on final price or it can be sold with bill of sale only serious inquiries please this bronco is in very original condition with no major rust issues minor floor pan issues our intentions were to drive in its original condition with more freshened modern options a lot of mechanical work has been done thanks for your time please don't waste your time or mine I can assist in local delivery or can deliver to local shipping company....

Cosworth double-feature is XCar's a drool-worthy look back

Wed, Jun 11 2014

While American fans of Ford performance cars in the '80s and early '90s were loving the 5.0 Mustang, Taurus SHO and, for those who wanted to be a little different, the Merkur XR4Ti, British fans of the Blue Oval were getting their own unique take on speed. The Sierra RS Cosworth (which was similar but not identical to the aforementioned Merkur) and later Escort RS Cosworth were the stuff of dreams with huge wings, hood vents and big power for their time and class. XCar Films aims to find out whether it is little more than nostalgia that makes these classics famous or it really is their legitimate performance. Thanks to its Formula One and racing success, Cosworth was already a well-established performance name in the UK by the time it began selling tuned engines to Ford for the Sierra and Escort. The Sierra RS Cosworth hit the scene in 1986 with a turbocharged, 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with 204 horsepower and rear-wheel drive. Its huge wing at the back signaled it immediately as something special, and it proved to be a performance powerhouse on and off the track. When it was retired, Ford replaced it with the Escort RS Cosworth that used an upgraded version of the same engine with 217 hp, all-wheel drive and an even bigger rear wing to net yet more racing victories. XCar really gets into the spirit of the time, opening the video with the lo-fi grain of '80s and '90s TV, but to find out whether the Cossies stand up to modern scrutiny, you have to watch the video below. Stay tuned until the end to enjoy them at their best with some vintage motorsports footage. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Driving the Lincoln Aviator and flogging Abarths at Laguna Seca | Autoblog Podcast #593

Fri, Aug 30 2019

In this week's Autoblog Podcast, Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore is joined by West Coast Editor James Riswick and Associate Editor Joel Stocksdale. To begin, Greg takes a moment to remember the fastest woman on four wheels and former host of Autoblog's "The List," Jessi Combs, who died this week. Then our editors turn their attention to the cars they've been driving, including the Lincoln Aviator, Ford Ranger and Nissan Frontier, as well as Joel's recent stint in the Fiat 500 Abarth and Fiat 124 Spider Abarth, including track time at Laguna Seca. Finally, they turn their attention to a listener in Germany who is looking to replace an aging Volkswagen Eos with a newer convertible in this week's "Spend My Money" segment. Ford confirms launch of new Tourneo vans and Ecosport in Europe for Geneva

Sun, 24 Feb 2013

We've already seen plenty of what the Geneva Motor Show will have in store for us in less than two weeks, but most of the confirmed debuts that were announced so far have generally been luxury or performance cars. Ford, on the other hand, will be showing off a couple of its new family-friendly models for European buyers to enjoy.
On the larger side of things, the full range of Tourneo vans (shown above) will be on display, including the introduction of the new Tourneo Courier model, but Ford will also be showing off the all-new EcoSport crossover, which is based on the automaker's Global B platform and will be positioned beneath the Kuga, better known here as the Escape. The subcompact EcoSport was originally unveiled at the Beijing Motor Show last April.
