Great truck, NO RUST...i mean zero, none...not on frame, not on fuel lines, not on brake lines, not on axles...none. never bondo'd or damaged. I flew out to find the perfect Bronco 2 months ago, then got a DUI 2 weeks ago, I need to sell it now to pay for my my fines. This totally sucks but I must sell it. NO RESERVE...i have to sell it. You will not find another 1980-1986 Bronco in this kind of rust free and undamaged condition in michigan unless its priced at about $7-10k+. Its not perfect as far as some little things go...but the chassis and body and in amazing shape, and it runs and drives great and is reliable and dependable.

Starts up great everytime, runs great, no leaks, idles great, brakes real good, shifts great. 4x4 works no problems (manual 4x4), Edelbrock intake, Holly Carb, I drove it back from Arizona a month ago. It has 9" rear and Dana 44 front axle. 4:10 gears. Does not smoke or leak oil. It can be purchased and driven any distance home - it made the trip from Arizona 2100 miles with no mechanical issues doing abotu 60-70mph the whole way. Tires have about 1/4" of tread left. Original A/C truck with all equipment still on it - just have the compressor belt off it. I never used it but was told its all in working condition before I left Arizona with it 2 months ago. Factory Tachometer but is workng intermitantly.

Was painted brown (originally brown also). Has a few add ons, fog lights, push bar, visors, back up fog lights.

Not working - Blower fan (heater/AC fan), drivers window stopped working on drive back from Arizona, i took the door panel off - the motor runs but the gear must have broke - easy fix, rear window switch on dash works intermitantly - goes down with key in tail gate fine.

Really do not want to ship it...i would prefer the buyer show up and make sure they are happy and then drive it home. If it ships, its a done deal. I will not accept a check or anything, only cash into my account, cash in person, or a bank transfer.

Please ask me any and all questions.

Listing ends at 9pm Eastern time...dont miss it!

Ford announces free brake pad offer if customers stop by dealers

Mon, 04 Aug 2014

These days, when you buy a new car, it's not unreasonable to expect a certain period of free maintenance to come along as well. Sometimes this is through the life of the warranty, in other cases a little less. But Ford Motor Company is going beyond those deals for at least one part of its cars. As of now, if you buy a set of Motorcraft brake pads for a Ford, Lincoln or Mercury model, you get free replacements for as long as you own the vehicle. The offer is good at Ford or Lincoln dealers and Quick Lane Tire & Auto Centers.
"We will replace the pads for as long as you own the vehicle," said Elizabeth Weigandt to Autoblog. She did clarify that the Motorcraft pads are generally for models from the '90s or newer. Also, to take advantage of this program, a person must return to the same dealer each time to get the free parts.
Of course, Ford isn't just handing out brake pads to anyone who walks by; there are certain stipulations. First, the components have to be worn down to less than three millimeters to be eligible, and the buyer still has to pay for the labor to install them. If the model is used as a fleet vehicle for commercial purposes like as a taxi or limousine, this offer also doesn't apply; the same thing for racecars. On the plus side, if you recently bought a set of pads from one of the participating locations, you're still in luck. The deal covers parts purchased as of July 1.

Ford confirms Everest SUV production for China

Sat, 19 Apr 2014

According to Ford, the Chinese SUV segment grew by 49 percent in 2013, and the Blue Oval held a 4.5 percent market share. At the 2014 Beijing Motor Show, Ford is showing the Everest SUV that, while just a concept for now, will go into production in the near future.
The Everest is a big, brawny seven-seat SUV that mixes solid, chiseled styling and contemporary Ford design cues. Up front there is an angular version of the trapezoidal grille and sharp, wraparound headlights. The beltline rises in the rear to make the back appear higher than the front. The rear seems just as chiseled, with the taillights resting in jagged scallops. There is no doubt that this concept means to look rugged, and ready for rough roads - the whole thing looks pretty great.
The truck was penned by Ford's Asia Pacific design and engineering team in Australia, and it was first shown in Sydney last year. Ford's JMC joint venture will build the truck for the Chinese market, and it will be sold at Ford dealers there. The Blue Oval isn't hinting at what powers the production version yet, but it reportedly shares some components with the foreign-market Ranger.

Here's what it's like to drive the very first Ford Mustang cop car

Thu, Jan 29 2015

As we recently discovered, there's something different about driving a police car. That's true whether you're talking about a modern Dodge Charger Pursuit or, yes, the legendary Ford Mustang SSP. Former Autoblog staffer and current Road and Track web editor Zach Bowman discovered this when he shanghaied a 2015 Mustang GT and made the trip to Nashville, TN to drive the very first Mustang SSP police car. The two-tone, V8-powered prototype was delivered into the welcoming arms of the California Highway Patrol back in 1981 for evaluation. Bowman chatted up cop-car aficionado Mike Strinich, the prototype's current owner, and managed to score some seat time in the car, which provided a unique interesting contrast to the SSP's 435-horsepower junior. Head over to R&T for the complete read.
