This is a nice little bronco. Everything works from the AC to the cruise control and 4WD. Many new parts over the last few years to include a remanufactured transmission, shocks, brakes, master cylinder, msd coil, blower motor for ac/heat, hoses, tires, head liner, stereo, speakers, and more have paperwork on the transmission. Runs great. Spare tire is not a matching size tire. Dash has two cracks in it but the interior is nice and clean. Always been in SC so there is little to no rust. The red is starting to fade a bit but the paint is still nice. It appears to have been repainted at some point. I cannot be sure of the mileage due to a 5 digit odometer. Carfax says 233000 but I find that hard to believe for how nice it is and how well it runs. In South Carolina the DMV does not verify mileage so you can make up a number to get a break property tax. On the title, mileage is exempt due to the five digit odometer and cannot be verified. I can only assume the motor was rebuilt at some point in time due to how well it runs. It will drop about a silver dollar size amount of oil on the ground after driving. I never have to add oil in between changes. That is the only thing wrong with it. I hate to let it go but it is an extra vehicle and I have found a project I need the money for. If you are local feel free to come and have a look. 29072. Contact me with any questions or concerns. Sold as is with no warranty implied. |

Ford bringing C-Max Solar Energi Concept to CES
Thu, 02 Jan 2014Solar energy might not be enough to power a usable electric vehicle on its own, but that doesn't mean it can't lend a helping hand. And that's what Ford has in store for the Consumer Electronics Show opening next week in Las Vegas.
Ford has essentially taken its C-Max Energi plug-in hybrid and fitted it with the latest in solar panel technology developed by SunPower, acting like a magnifying glass to capture as much of the sun's energy as possible. So you get the benefit of an electric vehicle, with the range assurance of a hybrid, without needing to draw from the grid.
Ford estimates that a day of charging in the sunshine will give the C-Max Solar Energi concept the same full charge as the production PHEV, with a total range of 620 miles - 21 of which can be run on electric power alone. Otherwise the vehicle - which remains a concept for the time being - is identical to the existing C-Max Energi. The top-selling model in Ford's growing hybrid and electric vehicle portfolio helps put Ford just behind Toyota among the top seller of hybrids in America. Scope out the images in the gallery above and the video clip and press release below for a closer look.

Leno chooses his top 10 Mustangs
Sat, 14 Jun 2014He may be a few months late to the party, but in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Ford Mustang, Jay Leno has delivered a short video in which he runs down which of the Blue Oval's pony cars from the past 50 years are his favorites.
The list is pretty darn similar to our own, with some of the big names from the Mustang's half century making an appearance, while there are three or four cars here that we think you'll be pretty surprised by.
Take a look below for this short video from Jay Leno's Garage.
