Up for sale is my Roush Blown Mustang Track Pack 5.0 with 15 k miles. The car is fully loaded except navigation. It has 3.73s, tranny cooler, and all the fun gadgets. I do drive the car frequently so miles will increase. This car has 200 more hp than a Roush Stage 3 and is listed for over 25k less.

This car made 611rwhp and 550rwtq which is estimated at 720 flywheel hp and 650 flywheel tq. It was tuned by the famous Shaun at AED. It runs like stock until you push the long pedal! The tune is very conservative and with the addition of meth and a pully these cars make over 725hp to the wheels. This car runs great!

Mods are as follows:

Engine:
Roush TVS2300 @ 9lbs (intercooled)
ID1000's
JLT intake
MBRP H Pipe
GT500s axle back

Suspension:
BMR Springs
BMR UCA & LCA with new BMR Mounts
BMR Panhard Bar
FRPP GT500 USM
Viking double adjustable Shocks
Strange struts

It also has the MGW shifter which makes all the difference in shifting for the MT-82.

The car has only had top shelf amsoil in the engine, trans, and rear end.

The car currently sits on Avant Garde M550s with custom powder coating, and has 315/30/20 toyo r888 in the back and toyo proxes in the front, all of which are like new with 5k miles and no burnouts.

I have all of the original equipment as well, which will go with the car.

The car is adult owned and babied. Everything put into this car has been of the highest quality. This car gets looks every time I go out in it. I have taken it on several long trips including sitting in traffic for hours without any problems at all.

If you have any questions please contact me via email or text. My number is six six one-703-five one seven three. I will consider a trade for a nice c6z and can put some cash up.

Deposit of $1000 due with 24 hours of close of auction. Full payment is due within 7 days. I will travel up to 300 miles to meet the buyer if the auction goes for more than $42500. The car can be shipped at the buyers expense and must be arranged by the buyer. Title is with Ford credit.

2015 Ford F-150 configurator is ready to go to work

Thu, 25 Sep 2014

Ford is inching towards the on-sale date for the eagerly anticipated, aluminum F-150 pickup. While we're preparing to drive the new truck (expect our take on it sooner rather than later), the best-seller has reached another, albeit more minor, milestone as its online configurator has officially been switched on.
We took to Ford's consumer website to mess about with it and see just how ridiculous of a truck we can build. Among the fun things we discovered were these two nuggets - the most expensive truck we could configure was not the top-end Platinum model, but instead the King Ranch, which rang up at $65,955. The other exciting discovery? The new truck would be available in a questionable shade called Blue Jeans (shown above with the optional contrasting Caribou paint). Yep, Blue Jeans.
You can head over to Ford's consumer page and build your very own aluminum F-150 now. Take a look.

Ford announces bevy of recalls, 2 of which are recalls on recalls

Tue, 04 Nov 2014

Ford has announced five separate recalls, affecting 202,000 vehicles built between 2005 and 2014.
It's not been a great couple of weeks for Ford. On October 30, the company announced a 205,000-unit recall, and yesterday, it was revealed that the Ford brand's year-over-year sales were down over 5,000 units while the company itself was down 3,000 units over through October. Now, the company has announced five separate recalls affecting 202,000 vehicles built between 2005 and 2014.

Nuclear-powered concept cars from the Atomic Age

Thu, 17 Jul 2014

In the 1950s and early 60s, the dawn of nuclear power was supposed to lead to a limitless consumer culture, a world of flying cars and autonomous kitchens all powered by clean energy. In Europe, it offered the then-limping continent a cheap, inexhaustible supply of power after years of rationing and infrastructure damage brought on by two World Wars.
The development of nuclear-powered submarines and ships during the 1940s and 50s led car designers to begin conceptualizing atomic vehicles. Fueled by a consistent reaction, these cars would theoretically produce no harmful byproducts and rarely need to refuel. Combining these vehicles with the new interstate system presented amazing potential for American mobility.
But the fantasy soon faded. There were just too many problems with the realities of nuclear power. For starters, the powerplant would be too small to attain a reaction unless the car contained weapons-grade atomic materials. Doing so would mean every fender-bender could result in a minor nuclear holocaust. Additionally, many of the designers assumed a lightweight shielding material or even forcefields would eventually be invented (they still haven't) to protect passengers from harmful radiation. Analyses of the atomic car concept at the time determined that a 50-ton lead barrier would be necessary to prevent exposure.
