2012 FIAT 500c - Cabrio (Convertible)

14,900 Miles, One Owner, No Accidents.

You can't find a nicer pre-owned FIAT than this one.  Comes with balance of FIAT comprehensive factory warranty (4 year / 50,000 miles).

GAS MILEAGE:  38 Hwy / 30 City <--- What??? Yes, its true.  You could drive some bland and boring Toyota and get 34 MPG or drive this cool FIAT with style, convertible AND better gas mileage.  You don't have to compromise between fun and sensible.

Exterior Color: Mocha Latte (Tan) / Looks AMAZING in person, you cannot help but smile when you see this car.  It'll definitely brighten your day parked in your driveway (and even more when it greets you in your spot after work or school).  This color is a tribute to the Italian car colors of the late 50's and 60's and is very nostalgic.  You can definitely say you live the Dolce Vita when you are in this car

Top: Tan.  Cloth top retracts with a touch of a button (and even a secret trick on the key fob).  Let me be clear about the top since there is some mis-information on the internet.  The top has 3 modes.  The first opens it about a foot, so you have something like a little sunroof.  The second position opens the roof completely so you have a super big sunroof <-- in THIS position you still have perfect view out of your back window.  Then, there is a third position, which takes the roof all the way to the trunk.  In that position you can still see out the back, but you have to adjust the rear view.  But that one is the "money" way to drive.  Super cool and feels like a proper cabrio.

Interior Color:  Seats are part cream color and part dark brown cloth.  Very light and airy.
Dealer upgraded wood trim kit.

Wheels:   Premium FIAT wheels

Body:  Excellent
Engine:  Excellent
Interior:  Excellent
Mechanicals: Excellent
Tires: Excellent
Brakes:  Excellent
Super Fun:  Yes

This is a fantastic car especially if you live in an urban environment.  Gas mileage is super.  Having a convertible top makes for nice drives in mornings, afternoons and evenings.

A/C, Auto Windows, CD Player, USB Connection (for iPod or android or USB Drive).  Also has nice Bluetooth with voice dialing so you don't have to take your phone out.

This is the "Pop" model, .

I have owned this car since new.  No Accidents.  No problems with it.  Drives great, everything works.  This was purchased as a fun weekend car, but I ended up traveling a lot for work and could not use it as much as I'd like.  Since I don't use as much as much as I want, I'm selling.  My loss (and depreciation) is your gain.  There are no regrets with this car.

Porsche tops JD Power APEAL study for 12th time

Wed, Jul 27 2016

JD Power's 2016 Automotive Performance, Execution, and Layout (APEAL) study hasn't changed much this time around with Porsche coming in at No.1 for the 12th consecutive year, while BMW was close behind in second. Jaguar and Mercedes-Benz tied for third with Land Rover, Lexus, and Lincoln tied for No.5. The APEAL Study, according to JD Power, measures owners' level of excitement and emotional attachment across 77 parameters. Brands and cars are rated on a 1,000-point scale. The study found that new cars with modern safety features including low speed collision avoidance and blind spot monitoring have higher APEAL scores than vehicles without the features. The overall industry score increased from 798 to 801, which JD Power claims was helped by the launch of a variety of new vehicles. This year, 22 out of 30 new or redesigned cars received a higher score than the vehicle's respective segment average. Porsche is once again at the top of the list as the automaker's score increased by three points to 877. BMW outscored Jaguar to take second place with a score of 859, while the British automaker dropped three points from last year with 852 points. Volkswagen overtook Mini to become the top-ranked non-premium brand with 809 points, while the latter automaker trailed behind by one point. At the end of the scale, Smart came in at the very bottom for the second year in a row with a score of 745 points, which represents an increase of 62 points over last year. Fiat's score increased by six points to 755, but still confined the automaker to second-to-worst place for a consecutive year. Mitsubishi's score increased to 770, up from 755, to become the fourth-worst brand, while Jeep fell to third-worst with a decrease in seven points to 756. General Motors received six segment-level awards, followed by Hyundai with five, and BMW and VW earning four apiece. Surprise segment victories include the Chevrolet Camaro, which outscored the Dodge Challenger, and the Lexus RC which ranked above the BMW 4 and 3 Series. For more information on how the automakers ranked, check out the official release on the 2016 APEAL Study below or visit JD Power's website to analyze the graphs. 2014 Fiat 500L to start at $19,100*

Fri, 24 May 2013

We've already driven the decidedly weird-looking 500L in its European-spec form, and now the folks at Fiat have just released US-specific pricing, which means that our US media drive is coming up soon. If you want to get your hands on the biggest of the little Fiats, you'll need at least $19,100 (*plus $800 for destination).
That base price gets you the 500L Pop spec, powered by a 160-horsepower, 1.4-liter MultiAir turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine (the only powerplant on offer), mated to a six-speed manual transmission. This base model comes equipped with 16-inch chrome-plated wheel covers (sexy!) and the usual list of standard features that pretty much every new car comes with. (You know, air conditioning, power windows and mirrors, etc.) Next up in the range is the 500L Easy, which adds aluminum wheels, tinted rear glass, body-colored mirror caps, uplevel seat fabric and a premium audio system. The price of entry for this better-equipped model is $20,195.
Things start to get more interesting from there, with the rugged-ish 500L Trekking coming in at $21,195. Visually, the Trekking is set apart by its two-piece front and rear fascias with graphite inserts, fog lamps and 17-inch wheels. Finally, the range-topping 500L Lounge adds a dual-clutch six-speed transmission, unique 16-inch wheels, chrome exterior accents, heated leather seats, and more. That top-trim 500L starts at $24,195, and the Lounge, Trekking and Easy models are available with a no-cost Premier Package that includes goodies like rear park assist and a 6.5-inch touchscreen Uconnect infotainment interface. Be warned, though, this no-cost option will only be available during the first year of production.

Share price falls on skepticism of Chrysler-Fiat five-year plan

Thu, 08 May 2014

Following this week's Fiat Chrysler extravaganza, where the Italian-American manufacturer announced its plans for the next five years, the Autoblog staff was cautiously optimistic of the company's future. Investors? Not so much.
Fiat saw its shares tumble 12 percent in Wednesday's trading, falling from 8.67 euros ($12.06 at today's rates) to 7.44 euros ($10.35) as of this writing, with blame partly going to the Italian half of the FCA marriage, which recorded a pretty significant drop in profits during the first quarter of this year.
The plan, which will cost around $77 billion over the next several years, is facing criticism from investors thanks in part to a 1.4-percent drop in Fiat's first-quarter profits, to 622 million euros ($862 million). That figure is also short of Bloomberg analysts' projections, which predicted $1.18 billion in profits before taxes, interest and one-time items.
