2012 Fiat 500 Sport Beautiful Car!! on 2040-cars
Clermont, Florida, United States
Isabella is a yellow Fiat 500 sport edition, with black/gray leather interior. She has a few paint scratches on her rear end but nothing too noticeable. She has been well loved and taken care of, getting all services and checkups when required. Her interior looks almost exactly like she did the day we purchased her, taking good care to make sure that there were no stains, minimal scratches to the door and dash, and no tears in any of the seats. We drove her off the lot with only 7 miles on the dash! Since then we have put all mileage on the car. When we first drove her off the lot we took her on a trip from New York City to upper Wisconsin and back. She did so wonderfully on the trip we decided to take her on another road trip, taking her around the east coast from New York City to New Orleans, down to Miami, and back up. Her last big trip was our move to Florida where Isabella has been housed ever since. During the time that we were in New York City she was housed in a garage where she was taken very good care of there. We moved before Hurricane Sandy, so thankfully she never sustained any damage from that disaster. We are truly sad to see her go and love Fiats in general, but we are starting a family and will be needing to move up to a larger more big family friendly vehicle. It will be a sad day when we give her up, but as long as she goes to a family that will love her and take good care of her, we will be happy! Isabella is a great starter car for any teenager learning how to drive because she is a fun, zippy little car with all the safety features to make any mom and dad happy! It also gives your teen the knowledge on how to drive a manual transmission; a talent that is being lost with these newer automatics. My mother always said, if you can drive a stick shift, you can drive anything! Please help my Isabella go to a good new home!! And please, if you have any questions at all contact us! We are happy to address any questions or concerns you may have!!

Fiat Beast of Turin fires up, vows to kill all in its path of destruction
Tue, Mar 31 2015The roadways, racetracks and lawns of Goodwood have seen a lot of varied machinery over the years. But few if any can match the Beast of Turin for outright raunchiness and brutality. The vehicle in question is a Fiat S76, built in 1911 to do nothing but go fast in a straight line, contesting the era's outright land-speed record. It features a monstrous 28.5-liter four-cylinder engine churning out 290 horsepower that propelled what would become known as the Beast of Turin to a top speed of around 140 miles per hour, which was downright crazy for that era. Now restored to running condition, the Beast of Turin is set to hit the Goodwood Festival of Speed this June. But before it does, Charles March – Earl of March and Kinrara and lord of Goodwood House – took a ride in it around his estate on a date no less suitable than Friday the 13th of March. Witness the mayhem in the video above. News Source: Goodwood Road & Racing via YouTube Fiat Automotive History Racing Vehicles Classics Videos Goodwood autoblog black
Recharge Wrap-up: Fiat 500X emissions, Japan EV sales down
Thu, Feb 11 2016The Fiat 500X exceeds EU emissions limits, according to environmental lobby group DUH. In dyno tests, DUH found NOx emissions in the diesel-powered 500X to be 11 to 20 times the limit with a warm engine, but closer to the limit with a cold engine. Testing of vehicles from Fiat and other automakers "point towards defeat devices," says DUH campaigner Axel Friedrich. Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) offered no comment in response to the accusations. Read more from Reuters. A UK study finds that about 20 percent of the benefits from fuel efficient vehicles are negated by a tendency for people to drive them more. The study, which covers the years 1970 to 2011, finds a significant "rebound effect," when consumers use more of a cheaper energy source. It suggests these drivers drive more not because of the fuel efficiency, but because of the lower operating costs. "Until now, we didn't know the size of this effect for British motoring," says Dr. Lee Stapleton, Research Fellow for the University of Sussex Centre on Innovation and Energy Demand. "We found evidence of a significant, long-term rebound and expect our results to be of interest for public policy." Read more at Green Car Congress. Japanese EV sales have declined for the first time ever. Sales of electric vehicles slid 22 percent in 2015, leaving them at the same levels as 2012. Low gasoline prices are to blame, as well as the late arrival of the updated Nissan Leaf, which caused potential customers to hold off on their purchase. This allowed the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV to take the lead as Japan's best selling EV. The Toyota Prius Plug-In came in third place in EV sales, with the BMW i3 close on its heels. Watch how one man finds contentment in his Fiat 2300 S Coupe
Mon, 15 Jul 2013At least once a day we hear about the glory of cars of years past, whether for their light weight, their simplicity, their manual transmissions or the way you could order options without ordering packages. But we know that we - and yes, even we here at Autoblog - romanticize plenty of it; that light weight meant atrocious NVH, those options sheets didn't include any of the things we take for granted in a Ford Fiesta today.
Nevertheless, there are those classics that make it worth it - for them it is no problem to endure the constant draft of bad window seals, the need to add another quart of oil every couple hundred miles. Petrolicious has found one such car and owner, Pierantonio Micciarelli and his Fiat 2300 S Coupe in Milan, Italy. His Ghia-bodied two-door can't be driven during the day and cost him 800 euros in gas for a 2,500-kilometer trip to a wedding, but the payoff is that moving beauty that makes him "feel like an emperor."
But there's no reason to listen to us tell it - enjoy Macciarelli tell his own story in the video below.
