Ladies and Gentlemen,
Up for sale is my 1993 Ferrari Mondial T, equipped with the very rare Valeo transmission option. 1993 is the last production year for the Mondial and it is estimated that only five (5) units were produced for the US market with the Valeo transmission. If you are a collector, this is the one for you! If your wife doesn't want you to have it, tell her its automatic and she can drive it too!
For those unfamiliar with the Valeo transmission, it is the forerunner to the F1 paddle shift Ferrari and was initially produced as an experiment. It is a clutchless manual, or automatic stick-shift, whatever helps you to better understand. Valeo is a French company that produced this rare, yet extremely reliable option mated to the Mondial T. Shifting gears is no different than with a manual trans, with the exception of not having a clutch present.
As can be seen in the photographs, this vehicle is in impeccable condition and is collector grade. It has a few small blemishes that can be expected with a 20 year old vehicle, and I will try my best to mention the most noticeable ones. The driver side quarter panel has 2 small dings the size of a dime, the rear bumper has a few small touch up spots, the passenger side fender has a small touch up spot, and the passenger side seat has a small scratch in the leather. I am an extremely critical person, and these are the most noticeable flaws I can come up with. In person inspections are welcomed and recommended.
This vehicle has custom Vellano VSH wheels.
The vehicle had the major service performed at 16021 miles which is documented and has had subsequent services and oil changes since. I just had the vehicle looked over and detailed at a cost of $674 at Auto Elite in Tenafly NJ.
This vehicle is unique and there are no others like it. There are other Mondial's out there, but none quite like this one. Every factor, in addition to me not really minding if it sells, have been taken into consideration in formulating a price. Please do your research, use NADA and take into consideration the rarity of the vehicle prior to asking any questions. Questions are more then welcome and encouraged. Someone might be the next happy owner of this amazing machine!

Ken Block's Gymkhana 8 to feature Dubai Police cars?
Tue, Feb 23 2016Yesterday we showed you the shiny Ford Fiesta that Ken Block will slide, spin, and hoon through the next Gymkhana video. In case the image above isn't clear, that video will drop at midnight EST on February 30th on the Ford Performance YouTube channel. We don't know all the entire premise of the video yet, but this Tweet from the man himself reveals that the video will be set in Dubai. Block is standing on the Fiesta we saw yesterday, and arrayed behind him are a handful of those famous Dubai Police cars you're probably familiar with. The force has a fleet of sportscars and supercars, and the purpose is outreach and goodwill among its citizenry, not necessarily the pursuit of criminals. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings. From left to right, we can see a Maserati GranTurismo, Porsche 911, what looks to be a Nissan GT-R obscured by Block's Fiesta, a McLaren (likely a 650S), Ford Mustang, and a Ferrari 599 of some ilk. Will they take part? Maybe Block will try and run from what might be the most horsepower-intensive police fleet in the world. We'll have answers (and a few minutes of pure Block hooniganism) in a few days. Related Video:
Watch the Ferrari LaFerrari get put through its paces by Top Gear and Evo
Wed, 30 Apr 2014Do you know what today is? Well, besides being the anniversary of the signing of the Louisiana Purchase (thanks France!), Consumer Protection Day in Thailand and Michael Waltrip's birthday, April 30 marks the expiration of the first of two embargoes on the Ferrari LaFerrari.
That means you're probably going to see quite a bit on Ferrari's hypercar in the coming days. One of the first things we've stumbled across is this video from our friends at Top Gear. Now, this isn't Jeremy, James and Richard playing with the ultra-powerful hybrid (although it's probably only a matter of time before the LaFerrari arrives at Dunsfold), it's the TG magazine crew. It's best to think of the Top Gear video as an appetizer, though.
The main course comes from Evo, which has a far lengthier and more detailed spot, running a full 10 minutes of fun. Dickie Meaden samples the 900-plus-horsepower monster on both the Italian roads and the Fiorano test track. We won't spoil the outcome, so be sure to take a look below for both videos.
Weekly Recap: Ferrari, Ford and Porsche power up for Geneva
Sat, Feb 7 2015Monday was Groundhog Day. Tuesday, apparently, was Sports Car Day. The Ferrari 488 GTB, the Ford Focus RS and the Porsche Cayman GT4 all debuted within hours of each other ahead of their rollouts at the Geneva Motor Show. Three sporty machines, three vastly different approaches – and a lot of implications for enthusiasts. That's a day worth repeating. It also illustrates the opportunities automakers see in the performance market, which is expected to grow in the coming years. Ford estimates the segment has expanded 14 percent in Europe and surged 70 percent in North America since 2009. The Detroit Auto Show was evidence of this, and performance cars of every stripe debuted, including the Acura NSX, Ford GT, Alfa Romeo 4C Spider and several others. This isn't a fad. Performance cars aren't going away. The question is why? Stricter CAFE standards are looming in the United States, as are tighter emissions regulations in Europe. And no one expects gas prices to remain low in America. None of this matters for sports cars, and automakers are increasingly using them to elevate their images. That's why Dodge rolled out two 707-horsepower Hellcats last year. It's why Ford has decided to resurrect the GT for road and track. It's why in the depths of bankruptcy, General Motors continued work on the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, not to mention the Z06. "Great brands are made one car at a time," Ford of Europe president Jim Farley said at the reveal of the Focus RS. Still, companies make those cars for different reasons. View 5 Photos Mainstream brands like Ford and Dodge want to build cars that get people talking, excite their bases and drive more potential customers into the showroom. They probably don't buy a Focus RS or a Hellcat, but suddenly the regular Focus hatch looks a bit hotter, and that V6 Charger seems to be just a touch more muscular. The halo of performance is alive and well in the eyes of automakers and their customers. "It's one of the most effective catalysts for ingenuity and innovation," said Joe Bakaj, vice president of product development for Ford of Europe. That also leads to a trickle-down effect. Some of the technologies inevitably make their way to other products. It's hard to think the new all-wheel-drive system in the Focus RS that distributes torque front to rear and side to side won't be used in other vehicles. It's different for Ferrari and Porsche.
