1983 Ferrari Mondial Quattrovalvole . This is a No Reserve Auction. She is running and driving but Needs Work. I drive her around the neighborhood and small parades. Red in color with Tan Leather interior as you can see the license are current. She starts and runs but I have not had her out on the highway to see what she will do, all the gears work, lights work, horn works, wipers, brakes, clutch, lights, windows, etc. Tires are O.K. but dry. the paint looks original as far as I can tell but the trunk has been repainted, all needs to be polished up. NO Broken Glass and NO RUST.... What she needs is the power antenna is broken, brakes are soft, speedo does not work I have not looked into that for I drive her slow and do not need it. A/C comes on but does not cool, windows are slow but they work. Leaks a little oil I do not know where from. All other gauges seem to work including the Gas gauge. Brake pads look O.K. Headlights go up and down and come on High and Low beam. I have ALL the paperwork on here since Imported into the States and All items repaired with parts list. The belt service was done I think in 1996. I have removed the rear inner fenders to make repairs easier with the rear jacked up and tires off, they will come with the car. The spare tire is in her and so is the jack and tools this will be included. She starts up cold but after a while and shutting her down and sitting is a little stubborn to start but pump on the accelerator pedal and she fires up. I'm sure I have forgotten something in my description of repairs. A deposit will be required after the auction ends of 400.00 dollars. Cash or Certified funds only for the balance, I reserve the right to end the auction Early or Cancel a Bidder for poor feedback. 210-870-6940 You may call me if you wish. The miles are in Kilometers and equals out to about 50,000.0 miles also the VIN is ZFFLD14B000045235 ebay could not list it for some reason.Thank You.

Ferrari planning six-cylinder Dino revival?
Wed, Apr 8 2015Ferrari swore up and down when it was developing the California that it wouldn't be an "entry-level" model. Whether that ultimately proved to be the case or not is up for debate, but it seems that the Prancing Horse marque is now preparing to launch a properly more accessible model in the near future. According to Motor Trend, Maranello is working on a new six-cylinder sports car to serve as the point of entry for new customers – especially in China. Tax implications there could mean the V6 would displace less than 3.0 liters, but likely pack a pair of turbochargers to ensure that output and performance live up to the Ferrari standard. Tipped to arrive in 2019, the six-cylinder model could materialize as a revival of sorts of the Dino line. Named after Enzo Ferrari's first-born son, the Dino sub-brand used mostly six-cylinder engines to take on the Porsche 911 on and off the track. The Dino 206 GT emerged in 1968, evolved into the larger-displacement 246 the following year and ultimately gave way to the very different, eight-cylinder, four-seat 308 GT4 in 1973, later to be rebadged as a proper Ferrari once the Dino brand was put to rest in '76. It's worth noting that Ferrari developed the 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 for the Maserati Ghibli and Quattroporte, which would presumably serve as the basis for the new entry-level Ferrari. Though FCA typically endeavors to keep its brands from competing directly with one another, Maserati is due to release a production version of the Alfieri sports car concept within the next couple of years, powered by that same engine, and could share its underpinnings with the Ferrari model in question. The six-cylinder Prancing Horse could carry a price tag of around $180,000 to take on the likes of the Porsche 911 Turbo, Mercedes-AMG GT, Audi R8 and the Sports Series which McLaren just kicked off with its new entry-level 570S. Ferrari California T has a turbo V8 lurking under new nose [w/video]
Tue, 04 Mar 2014The Ferrari California might technically be the Prancing Horse's entry-level model, but there is nothing basic about the latest upgrade for the California T. Showing its face to the public for the first time at the Geneva Motor Show, it is now propelled by a 3.9-liter, turbocharged V8 with 560 horsepower and 557 pound-feet of torque, which equates to an extra 70 hp and a 49 percent increase in torque over the previous engine.
The forced induction mill is enough to accelerate it to 62 miles per hour in 3.6 seconds. Also not that many Ferrari buyers are going to care, but the switch also means a 15 percent improvement in fuel economy. Oh, and based on the video preview below, it sounds pretty good, too.
While the new engine is certainly the headline grabber, there are other upgrades as well: a top that closes in 14 seconds, new steering box, improved magnetic dampers and an upgraded traction control system. Pininfarina also reshaped the nose to make it more look like Ferraris of the 1960s. This is seems to be the best looking and performing California yet.
