Terms of Sale
PAYMENT METHODS:
Cash and direct wire transfers are the only acceptable form of payment unless otherwise specified by an authorized representative. Please contact us for details of finance and lease programs available and to apply. Please have all funds available for payment in full within a 7 day period and/or have financing arranged . If another form of payment is accepted by an authorized representative, the vehicle will only be released for delivery and/or shipping upon proof of valid and cleared funds in Naples Motorsports account.
DEPOSITS:
All vehicles remain available for sale until full payment or agreed upon deposit is received by Naples Motorsports Inc. When a deposit is received , the vehicle is taken off the market and other buyers may be lost. All deposits are only refundable at the sellers discretion. Please do not place a deposit on any vehicle unless you intend to purchase the car . Deposits are generally only accepted if the seller deems it appropriate for the buyer to have additional time to arrange for funds availability, financing, inspection etc. We do not accept deposits to hold a car so the buyer can "think about it".
REMAINING BALANCES DUE:
The buyer agrees to pay remaining balance due including all applicable taxes and fees within 7 days of the purchase date . This includes the completion of any finance or lease contracts necessary for Naples Motorsports Inc. to be funded in full for the vehicle purchase unless agreed upon by an authorized representative. All financial transactions are to be complete and Naples Motorsports fully funded before delivery and/or transportation of vehicle.
ADDITIONAL TAXES AND FEES:
We do charge a $599.50 documentation fee on each retail sale which includes a temporary tag when applicable, motor vehicle documents and transfers and miscellaneous expenses including clerical fees, notary fees and Federal Express and US mail charges. This fee will not be discounted or waived under any circumstance. Buyers are responsible for all state, county and local taxes and fees as well as any registration and title fees applicable in and required by the state in which the buyer will register and title the vehicle. Buyer is responsible for any expenses , tax and fees should they export the car outside of the US.
SHIPPING:
Naples Motorsports Inc. will be happy to assist buyer with transportation arrangements within the US borders when necessary to take advantage of our volume discounts. The buyer is responsible for all shipping charges and are generally paid COD when the car arrives directly to the transporter. Naples Motorsports Inc. assumes no responsibility for damages incurred after the vehicle leaves our premises . Naples Motorsports Inc. can not be held responsible for any delays in shipping as it is beyond our control. We will do our best in estimating shipping dates and times to make the delivery as timely and smooth as possible. Naples Motorsports Inc. will NOT handle any arrangements for export outside the US . It is the purchasers sole responsibility to handle all related details and transport of any vehicle to be exported. Naples Motorsports, Inc. in no way represents or implies as to any vehicles legal ability to be exported outside of the US. Should you decide to come to Naples for delivery, we would be happy to help with your transportation arrangements and also arrange to pick you up at Ft Myers International Airport or Naples Municipal Airport. Recalls from small-volume, high-end automakers like Ferrari are fairly rare, but the Prancing Horse issued a safety campaign to repair 814 vehicles in the United States due to a potential problem with the driver's side airbag module. The issue covers the 2015 editions of the 458 Italia, 458 Spider, 458 Speciale, 458 Speciale A, California T, FF, F12 Berlinetta, and LaFerrari. The affected examples have build dates from Dec. 19, 2014, to April 29, 2015, but this isn't every MY2015 vehicle in the country. According to the announcement by the National Highway Safety Administration (here as a PDF), these Italian supercars might have a "relevant combination of insufficient gluing of the leather on the driver's side airbag cover and the possible rotated installation of the driver's airbag cushion in the airbag module." In the event of a deployment, the safety devices might come out turned from where they are supposed to be. This issue could cause an increased risk of injury in a collision. In the NHTSA documents, Ferrari reports that it believes the chances of these rotated deployments are low. For drivers' safety, dealers will still replace the affected airbag module with a new one. Owners will start having their supercars fixed around July 30. (FNA) is recalling certain model year 2015 Ferrari 458 Italia, 458 Spider, 458 Speciale, 458 Speciale A, California T, FF, F12 Berlinetta, and LaFerrari vehicles manufactured December 19, 2014, to April 29, 2015. The affected vehicles may be equipped with a driver side air bag module that was improperly assembled. This can cause the air bag to deploy in a rotated orientation. CONSEQUENCE: In the event of a crash, the deployment of the driver's air bag in a rotated orientation increases the risk of injury. REMEDY: FNA will notify owners, and dealers will replace the front Driver's Side Air Bag Module, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin on July 30, 2015. For those of you still with us, the first race in the United SportsCar Championship (USCC) is done, but the discussions about it certainly won't end for a while. Daytona Prototypes claimed the first four overall places, the top spot taken by the No. 5 Action Express Coyote-Chevrolet Corvette DP driven by Joao Barbosa, Christian Fittipaldi, Sebastien Bourdain and Burt Friselle. The 16th and final caution of the race bunched the field up for an eight-minute sprint to the flag, so the first place getter finished just 1.4 seconds ahead of the No. 10 Wayne Taylor Racing Dallara-Chevrolet Corvette DP driven by Max Angelelli. Third place went to Brian Friselle in the No. 9 Action Express Chevrolet Corvette DP, 20 seconds down. Chevrolet power hasn't taken the overall win since 2003, eleven years later it scores a one-two-three-four. The No. 6 Muscle Milk/Pickett Racing ORECA-Nissan 03 scored fifth place, the top LMP2 finisher. Ferraris come up for auction all the time, but in Scottsdale next month Gooding & Company will be auctioning off an entire collection of Maranello's finest projected to fetch around $12 million. The collection belongs to one Tony Shooshani, described as "a widely published and renowned Ferrari collector." He's the proprietor of a 599XX Evo, a LaFerrari, and one of only six Pininfarina Sergio roadsters made. They'll remain in his collection, along with his prized 288 GTO and his thoroughbred Arabian stallion named Enzo. But he's liquidating some other notables from his garage, giving other collectors a chance to bring them home instead. This includes a trio of supercars. There's an Enzo tipped to fetch between $2.4 and 2.8 million, an F50 ($2.5-2.9m), and an F40 ($1.3-1.6m). The more classically inclined may be more enticed by the 1960s-era 250 GT Lusso ($2.2-2.5m), 250 GT Series II Cabriolet ($2-2.3m), and Dino 206 GT ($700-800k), and there's a pair of 80s models as well in a 512 BBi ($400-475k) and 328 GTS ($125-150k). The Berlinetta Boxer was Ferrari's first mid-engined twelve-cylinder supercar, and the 512 BBi was the ultimate incarnation thereof. It was never officially sold in the United States, but some still made it over here. This particular example was once owned by racing legend AJ Foyt. Those pre-sale estimates place the value of the collection altogether at $10.3 million on the low side, and as high as $13.5 million. That's a whole lot of cash, but there's a whole lot of machinery here – in both quantity and quality. So if you've had a good six or seven figures burning a hole in your proverbial pocket and have been looking for the right place to invest it, this could be your chance.
